Hi
my question is the notification led on Vince can change color or not, the only color i ever saw is white.
Thanks
As far as I know it's only white, not RGB so it cannot change color.

Well that's bummer, but thanks for replying
On vince there is white led,. but the rgb driver aw2013 (iirc)is present and the pcb has pads for a rgb led. I was succesfully able unload the led driver chip module and used direct i2c-write command to the rgb driver chip (its the same as in santoni, just they connected an white led instead the red one.
I just dont know how modify the unofficial los 17.1 to get colour setting, if i neeed chanhe dts tree, change onoly kernel or ceompile verything...never did it.
But definitely vince has hw support for rgb led, just users a white one. Tested by directry accessing trhe rgn drover after soldering a rgb led...for me tje hw mod was easy, but thw sw part is somethi9ng i never managed.
Any rom supporting the aw2013 chip?

Hello All,
I have looked around different forums hoping to find an app or setting info which allows to modify the screen color, contrast and Gamma . I haven't been able to find any .
I have a Vega Tegra2 replica which has high screen brightness ( faded black colors ) and I am running Vegacomb 8.1 on it.
Can any one please tell me if such an app or modification exists?
Many thanks !!
Anyone has any info?
Sorry, don't know anything that can do it. But it's a nice idea.
It would be very helpful for those that have cheaper tablets/phones and want to improve the screen quality and picture.
Im wondering how come no apps is around? Any limitation on Android OS to handle this or harware limiation?

Thank you so much. This app solve partly my UV and Blue light allergic.
Best.
The link above doesnt work anymore... anynew app that can do this ?
I found it, can actually change colors RGB, saturation, contrast, brightness, invert, make screen black and white with root access
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.omegacentauri.red
Somsehow work but paid with 4 day trial.
But I actually try to find a type of app that just reduce selected color from screen
I love my View but am disappointed with the richness of the color. What we really need is an app that just allows is to turn down the gamma and thus up the color richness.
Any ideas on what is available?
I'm not talking about just changing the brightness or contrast. I'm talking about turning up the blacks.
Thats involved with the kernel I believe...so unless you wanna make a new kernel i don't see it happening.
Hey guys , I was wondering if it would be possible to bring the option "scren better" from H2OS for OOS.
I love the OPX AMOLED screen , but sometimes shows too saturated images , especially with reddish colors. Don´t you think?

The "LiveDisplay" in Settings -> Display & lights is the same thing, its only available on CM based ROMs though.

it's not exactly the same. the setting on H2OS is much more subtle. almost not noticeable. while LiveDisplay really changes the color temperature.
I miss that setting on my H2OS and that's why I flashed blue_spark kernel to change the colors.
In Miui You can change Display temperature From Normal To Warm Or Cool
But when using custom rom like Aex or Lineage i can't find that choice
the screen is really warm and white color is almost yellow
please i need any solution for this i want to make the screen contrast cool Like Miui
Thanks i really appreciate your quick answer
Theres color profile option in livedisplay setting on los based roms, use that.
i tried it but it can't make white color looks really white

Use Kernel Auditor app..and if your kernel support kcal you can calibrate the display color profile.
Would You please Explain what is kcal ??????

Its an module for Advanced color control for Qualcomm MDSS 8x10/8x26/8974/8084/8939.. your kernel have to be supported to make fully use of it. check thishttps://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software-hacking/dev-kcal-advanced-color-control-t3032080
The los livedisplay also got manual color calibration option, that should be enough to tinker by your own to get however white you want.

Not really...on livedisplay there are only tweaks for the screen RGB color which is not enough in many situation...in KCAL you have screen value and contrast value and minimum sRGB value those are valuable option to tweak... that's why I've told you...now its up to you.
What I really miss is a Display Calibration App/Mod that works on all devices running on customs roms.
An app that lets you set contrast, light, color, gamma, white balance...
There are way to many phones/tablets that have terrible Delta values.
Anyone here know if there is someone on Xda that working on an mod/app like this?
