Hello, I am looking for an experienced android\java developer to create a simple yet interesting module that mimics some human behaviors in an app.
Skills you need:
Ability to decompile\reverse engineer apk's
Ability to write scripts that mimic human behavior.
Familiar with Xposed.
I would rather not give out details in public, so if you are up to the challenge and looking for work, please pm me.
I am looking for a mid\pro level and am willing to pay accordingly since there is a lot of similar work.
Pay is around $1000, whichever method you prefer.

Assuming you mean the free version, you can repost it here after changing anything I think. There is no set amount you have to change before doing so, but most people won't want a very slightly changed version. There is also no amount of changes you can make that will make it OK for you to release it as your own app, you will ALWAYS have to make it very clear that it is "a modification of n7player".
If you mean the paid version, you cannot directly redistribute your modified version. You can possibly distribute the changed files from within the APK, but you cannot distribute the full APK.
Also, I don't think modified apps are allowed on the Play Store, you can only really post them places like here on XDA.
Ok. Then can you point me in the right direction for creating a player I know Java, just not the android development process

Check the Android Developers website for tutorials and information about Android Development. It'll have all the information you need.
I believe the SDK Samples also includes a simple sample of MediaPlayers.
Get started on learning Android Development. You won't really get anywhere with Android if you only know Java.
Also, you should do this to create your own special and unique media player and not try to reverse engineer another developer's app to release it as your own. Give yourself some confidence and come up with a better idea.

As a concept it shouldn't be ultra hard to develop, but it all depends how complex you want this sms application to be. As far as how hard it would be to develop such a application depends on your programming expertise. If you have never programmed anything before it's still manageable but it would take a lot of time and effort. Still take a look at some of these links that can hopefully get you started.

Tasker (when run on GB or later) now comes with App factory, which allows you to conver tasker projects to Apps (no copyright problems... tasker allows you to do whatever you want with those created Apps, just mention tasker in your credits).
Seems like one of the easier options to me for developing simple applications for someone starting completely from scratch.
(I'm not a developer, take it fwiw).

I am planning to make an Android App which will act as a virtual Meditation hall, where many others would have connected to, and this App, should show me the count of the number of people that are currently logged in, it must also show me, the current Idea or Notion or say, a goal, for which the people are meditating, Now, just to clarify, in case you are wondering, In Yoga, there is a practice of Group meditation with a unified thought or unified mental state, so, I am planning to emulate this real life activity, for the Yogic practitioners, also.
Anyways, here is how i imagined it would be,
Module 1: Connect to the server
Module 2: log in
Module 3: Suspension, where the user simply keeps the app on and it will update the status of the hall, i.e. whether any new members have joined in or any has left.
Module 4: exit
Now, I must say, that the only background i have is of Flash, and I am not sure how this would help me out, but I just want to know
1) how to implement modules 1,2,3,4. i.e what is the programming elements i should use, no need for detailed explanation, just to point me out to what to study, because i am just about to start learning android programming and i need to have this app up and running ASAP.
If possible, i would also like to hear how you would segment this app idea into your own modules, if you have any advice on it.
P.S Please bear with me if i had commited any of the noobish mistakes of asking in a wrong category or asking something redundant as I am new to this and It was not intentional.

Actually I wish I could be able to use my App Inventor programming skills to develop a fully or partially functional launcher apps. But there's no functionality present over that platform. I Googled every bit of information available over the Internet but alas i didn't find anything useful and additionally I didn't want my hands to get dirty on programming complex codes to create such app. So I arrived to this forum and finally decided to ask advanced members of XDA-DEVELOPERS forum to find solutions for my query.
Okay, now I realised after much experimenting with AI2 that so isn't possible at all!
Lol, just mess it up and use other tools.

Hello all,
I am low vision legally blind and I am looking for a programmer to create an application. Basically a camera application that can be controlled via the devices hardware buttons, Bluetooth mouse and voice command.
Basically this NuEyes running as an application on the ODG R7 Smartglasses rather than the OS overlay (i think that's the term) that is currently used.
EDIT 20150627: I thought I would add a little more information in here to try and make my stumbling rambles clear. What I am basically looking for is something with the features of Visor that can be controlled using the unused option buttons on the R7's finger mouse and optimally respond to basic voice commands such as "change filter" to rotate through the 3 visual settigns as well as "increase" and "decrease" for magnification. I really love the A Better Camera style interface and would love to include a night vision setting like the one it has as this would be very useful in low light situations to help my night blindness. Please let me know if this is possible, I really need the help coming up with an alternate solution to the extremely expensive NuEyes software package. /EDIT
Being a complete novice I would like to know what would be involved in this application. What would the programmer require from ODG, framework, sample code, ext, and what kind of costs would I be looking at for the initial application and maintenance.
The reason I am asking is though I believe companies have a right to make profits and recoup R&D costs is that the NuEyes system costs about $6000, that works about to about $2K wholesale for the glasses and $4K for the software. I"m just so frustrated by how much every piece of adaptive tech for the blind costs. Every time one of us needs a piece of tech we have to sell our souls to the devil to get it.
