If you trusted the application do what you want to.

Hello Friends,
Actually I am in search of app which gives password protection to delete or Uninstall the apps.
So that anyone cannot delete or uninstall any of my installed apps..
So anyone is fond of or know any such app??
If yes then please please reply me...
thanks in advance...
this is just an idea
first download a app which can lock system app then just lock the package installer and whenever you will try to install or uninstall app you will need password
you should also lock market as market do not need package installer to install and uninstall apps

Did you uncheck it from Device Administrator and Accessibility before attempting to uninstall it?
A new "Uninstall" entry is added to About dialog in latest version.
Hi,
I have 2.6.1 installed and I want to upgrade to 2.8.
But when I want to install from Play Store, it fails and get error 505.
Then I check the APPs and found the uninstall button is greyed out, I could not uninstall it.
So I remove the greenify related folders under /data/app and data/data, then reboot.
But it still fail to install from Play Store or apk.
And it works fine before.
How could I fix this issue?
Thank you.

For uninstalling Greenify, you have to disable it first in DEVICE>SETTINGS>Security>Device Administrators. Then the uninstall button will work.

I use Titanium Backup recover Greenify first then disable Greenify in Device Administrators.
Afterward uninstall Greenify and reinstall again.
It works now.

How can I uninstall apps?
i would just disable them. the space gained from uninstalling is on the system partition and is not really useful for storage/apps. disabling will keep it form eating battery or performance
interesting, but how can I disable apps on the watch?
I know how to on the smartphone, but on the watch?...
pretty much same adb command, just swap "uninstall" with "disable"
adb pm disable package.name

unless that app has an android wear interface, it isnt really useful in this situation.
Install "Advanced Settings for Watch" from the Play Store. It'll let you disable system apps, uninstall sideloaded ones, and it has a few more settings like vibration strength.
