is there a way i can make a custom rom for an older version of android to run on newer device?
lets say s8 plus on kitkat or even gingerbread ?
im trying to make a custom rom of 2.3 on a generic tablet that is 4.0.4

As drivelink for full mirrorlink does not work for my car I found workaround where new CarMode app works.
Unfortunately it can be installed only on S5,S6,S7. Is there any workaround or solution where I can use it for S3 ?

I can install s3 ROMs emulating S7 (with 6.0), and even install http://www.mediafire.com/file/ek3m2k...0.21.19664.apk

Update: Never mind. I've found it. MIUI 9.6.11.0 came pre-installed with Pocophone F1 and POCO F1. But 9.6.11.0 rom is nowhere available on the internet but 9.6.14.0 is available which was I believe the second update.

Read carefully. 11.05 was Android 9. 11.04 is on Android 10. It's completely different version and it's an upgrade.
