How would you root an Honor 7 when it is not possible to get an unlock code?

since i used a different method to unlock the bootloader called dc unlocked i have no idea how to install emui 9 on my mate 10 pro to be able to flash openkiri emui 9 builds

if I unlock bootloader in android 7.0 and have the code...can I update to android 9.0 and still can unlock bootloader by the same code and root again.

Is the same bootloader code remains whatever happens

Once its unlocked its always unlocked regardless of android version
