How to get "SAMSUNG Galaxy GIO GT-S5660" into fastboot/bootloader??? Please help!
I'm confused! Cuz I cannot find anything on the web, how to get my phone into fastboot and/or bootloader.
I tried this methods, and the phone ignored it, and just booted up normal:
Hold Vol-Down + Power
Hold Vol-Up + Power
Hold Vol-Down + Vol-Up + Power
I removed the battery and tried again. Nothing works
I want to unlock the bootloader, access fastboot, etc.
How to??? please help me
The only things that works:
Recovery: Hold HOME + Power
Downloading Mode: Hold Vol-Down + HOME + Power

u mean u wan to access to CWM / download mode
Vol-Down + home + Power ( download mode )

Vol-Down + Vol-Up + Power ( soft bricked phone )
to access fastboot/bootloader u have to use ADB
2 questions:
1. What is soft brick phone?
2. How to access the bootloader via adb?
i tried: adb reboot bootloader
result=complete fail! the phone normally boots the system, instead of showing the bootloader
but how to access fastboot on my device?
any tricks or hacks? can i force fastboot on my phone?

If you can't find it on the internet and a search on XDA leads you to nothing then maybe it hasn't been done yet. You stated you wanted to unlock your bootloader so I assume you already found a how to on this? If you did then it should tell you how to get into bootloader as well.
i don't get bootloader/fastboot
but i have done something else
i installed windows guest in vmware workstation 8
downloaded odin and flashed a cwm tar to the PDA section
than i finally had cwm v4 on my device
than with cwm, i felled free to install cyanogen mod 7.1 unofficial fro galaxy gio
and it works like a charm
Mod version says "CyanogenMod 7.1 gio RC1"
it's awesome, i don't need fastboot anymore, when odin can do the job
NOTE: i know about heimdall (open-source odin alternative for linux) but it doesn't work so i have to use a win vmware guest to use odin
but it would be to see bootloader on my device, maybe soon

how can i get a original stock rom? my samsung galaxy gio is rooted but its now its wifi error
i can not enter in the bootloader menu if i hold the power button and volume + button then it stuck at logo and does not proceed further but excepts that it works fine but i need to recover it so please help
I bricked my new P8 lite...I would to install the root: I unlocked the bootloader and then I used this file for the root but the smartphone will not start...I see the Huawei logo, and then off...I have tried by putting the official firmware on a microSD...pressing VOL up and VOL down and power for 10 seconds, release power and hold VOL up and VOL down for another 10 sec but I see only the Huawei logo for a few seconds and then nothing...the fastboot command not work (waiting for any devices) and if I type adb devices , comes back to me list of devices attached...recovery...please help me, it's the phone of my girlfriend :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:
So I've been putting custom ROMs on devices for years and I've never had this problem before.
Problem: I can't get into Recovery (TWRP) after I've flashed it but before MIUI restores stock recovery.
I've tried:
1) Holding Vol Up + Power as I hit "fastboot reboot"<Enter> in fastboot
2) Running the power down while in fastboot, giving it a little charge, and then holding Vol Up + Power
3) Locking the bootloader and trying both 1 & 2 again
Result
- Without locking the bootloader I get the "unlocked bootloader" message, have to hit Vol UP and then it boots into System
- With a locked bootloader it ignores my "Vol Up + Power" altogether and just boots into System
For the fun of it I tried Vol Down + Power (to get into fastboot) and had the same problem. Funny thing is if I flash back to stock, VOL UP + POWER gets me into recovery just fine.
Any ideas?

So I figured it.. reading a post in the MIUI forum (XDA won't let me include the link), I found the following:
Turn off your Mi Pad 2, Press power button to turn on Mipad 2, when MI LOGO appeared, immediately Hold down VOL UP and VOL DOWN until you see the yellow line DNX FASTBOOT MODE appears, release the buttons.

My problem was I was pressing both buttons at the same time as I do with my other devices. Solution is 1) Press power button, 2) wait for MI logo to appear in the center of the screen, 3) Press VOL UP. Voila!
i rooted before my oneplus nord 2 5g and i want to reset phone i entered to twrp i wiped data
suddenly i found my phone locked with pin that iv never used i tried all pin that i used on my phone even when itry to renter through recovery mode i found 'fastboot_unlock_ok
the device is in fastbook mode which is only for debug android devices....'
with 'power button+ vol -' and 'power button+ vol +' all same message
please help me guys
