Updates - Motorola One Questions & Answers

I was under the impression seeing as this device is android one it would get monthly security updates as it clearly states in the specification description on the Motorola web site , just got device today and no update out of the box and on 1st August security in few days time it will be 3 months out of date , bit lame tbh from Moto

Thats really bad, yes. I was excited to get Android 9.0 at latest in the beginning of Nomveber. Now I'm not sure when we will be supplied with security patches. :[

One is a bit left behind comparing to One Pwer.. bit sad tbh. Hopefully we will see some developement for our device..

Also spotted this on twitter , Pie has started to roll out to one power so should soon for Moto one I'd assume

Unzip the file, use fastboot to flash
There's a xml file saying which files must be flash at which partitions and their order. Once all partitions are flashed just reboot and voila: Android Pie
