Using my Lg v30 on stock v21h EUR (issue exists since Two firmware updates!)
After i take a Picture with the stock camera, it is not saved to the device. A reboot or using a different galery app is not solving the problem.
At the beginning i thought I forgot to take. The picture... But the problem Exists! Even a friend has exactly the same issue. I cannot say when it happens. Its totally randomly.
Foubd nothing abiut thid problem in the internet. Only that the v20 had similar problems.
Anyone else out there with this camera behaviour?
It happens to me sometimes as well, but I think I pinned down the situation when it happens: When I use the quick launch action (double press vol-down) from a locked screen, snap a photo, then turn off the screen before I see the photo preview appear. If I remember to wait to see the photo appear it always saves the photo.

In stock image "Gallery", when zooming a pic, screen goes black .
After the ICS update, the image gallery also suffered a problem. Sometimes while viewing a pic and you double tap to zoom in, suddenly the screen goes black...no pic. Start to zoom back out and the image comes back..zoom in again..image black screen again. This happens with random pics and wont fix itself unless you Force Stop the app in Control panel. It wont always be the same pics..anyone else get this? Its not important, I just wondered if this is just something on my phone..
After updating to the OTA, everyone has problems until they do a factory reset. It clears out all the GB crap that messes it up.
Backup your data and then power off your phone. Take out the battery and put it back in. Then press power and volume down until you see he white screen. Use the volume keys to highlight and power to select "factory reset".
Forgot I wrote this, sorry. Already did a reset long ago as per suggestions by others for other problems since the update. So the problem never fixed itself. Its some crap with ICS. Its annoying because now I keep getting this problem.
Has anyone else experienced this before?
Ok..obviously nobody knows about this. I'm going to take a short video and i'll have it up within a couple days. This photo browser is pissing me off! Is there a better or just as good (FREE) app out there in the market or on XDA? Something that doesnt have this bullsh** problem in it? Thanks ahead of time for any replies.
The clichés of asking for help in a forum as your first post. Oh joy. Either way, this isn't a huge problem for me, but if anyone knows how to fix it, I would be ecstatic.
When in in youtube full screen, it is exactly that, full screen, but, seemingly randomly, I get my notification bar that appears on screen along with the home buttons, and until I force close the app, they won't go away and take up screen space during a video. Any fix for this or am I missing something as to why it's happening?
Attached pictures show immersive and what happens after.
Phone is stock LG g2.
This is an unmodded phone, just to start off quickly. I take pretty good care of my phone. However, the camera app on this is super slow and frustrating.
When I activate the camera from sleep mode either by double tapping the volume key or use the lock screen camera icon, the app launches, but it takes anywhere from 10 - 15 seconds for the shutter button to be active and start taking photos. This is in all auto and manual modes.
I've missed a lot of moments that I couldn't capture, because I'm waiting for the app to do whatever it's doing and then start working. But even after the button is active, I press it and it stalls and then takes the photo. I've tried rebooting and even go through my phone for running apps that could possibly slow it down, but I just get general push notifications and emails. No heavy apps running in the background.
Any ideas how to get around, or resolve this issue?
Thank you.
Have the exact same issue. Rebooting helps a LITTLE but often still 5-10 seconds of lag, which can result in completely missing the shot. Searched around a bit, no one seems to have a solution for it that I can tell.
So annoying! I'm going to write to LG about it, because it's BS that they don't fix this software issue, and I shouldn't have to buy a new phone for a camera app.
Hi all,
just got the grey version, really loving the body colour!!!
I tried to press the camera button (even at locked screen mode),
it has no problem, just hold long enough like 1 second.
however the problem is when the camera is launched, the button seems not working at any sense for 1 minute.
even i long press it.
it will not focus or do anything at all. I can only press the screen button (the circle white button on the right) to take photos.
Is it normal?
I have already reset the camera setting once, and issues stays.
Does it happen to you too?
Not normal. May be a hw issue.
I have this issue too, don't think it's a HW problem because it's opening camera.
There is a setting for camera key in camera settings. Off, launch only or launch/capture

I can find this option, but my question is when camera is launched, the button should be able to take photos, but it just not working for 10 or more seconds.
(1 minute may be a bit exaggerated.)
Something is up. Mine immediately takes the picture when pressed.
It confirmed with software defect.
exchange another xperia immediately.
Hi folks,
I've got a VERY STOCK NON-ROOTED Pixel 6. It's fully up to date including the latest June update that I took this morning; all apps up to date.
For several days, maybe a week or more (who knows how long, but not more than a month), images in Google Photos appear jittery. These are static photo images, no animation or re-rendering should be needed. but, if I watch that screen, some, not all of the photos in there, look like they are being re-rendered, ever-so-slightly differently (like off by a pixel, back and forth) flickering maybe two or three times a second, on the Google Photos home screen (the one you get as soon as you launch the app, before scrolling and tapping into any particular picture) When the flicker happens, typically the main picture in the middle of the screen and at least one of the partially visible pictures below it will flicker at the same time. If I don't touch it, the flicker sometimes settles down after some time (20-30).
Anybody else see this? It's easy for me to reproduce: just make sure Photos is closed, then tap on the home screen icon for Google Photos. The flicker persists if you scroll down; it's not just the pics at the top that flicker/jitter. Again, it settles down afte some amount of time. It's only this app, not the phone generally, and only for the first half minute or so of using the app before closing it.
Any ideas what's going on here?
I'm curious if I'm the only one seeing this. I'd be interested to hear replies even if it's just "me too" without any ideas for solution.
My present theory, which accounts for it "settling down" over time is that after it loads the visible initial pictures, it's still loading pics below into memory to have them ready for scrolling; this loading action may trigger occasional redraws that cause the jitter I see.

I've been trying to help a friend with a Pixel 6 Pro with this exact thing happening, so it's not just you. (I just checked mine, and while I hadn't noticed it before, I can see it happen on a larger image on my Pixel 6 Pro as well.)
I have pixel 6 pro I don't have that problem I think I found out why it has an update I just checked now
