Hi;
Problem is related to the Google search (both Widget and the one in the browser inside Android).
Recently, attempting do search anything in Google search Widget resulted in strange exit from it to the main Android screen. It just closes itself without any error message.
Android version is 5.1.
Later, few steps were done to fix the issue. First, data and cache deleted at application management. It did not fix the issue. Then, software factory reset, did not fix it. And attempt with hardware factory reset did not fix it. Google search Widget just disappears every time anything is being entered there (again, both Widget and in Browser).
More precise, after factory reset, Google search (initial, factory version) works, then immediately after autoupdate (connection to Internet to new version it stops working again.
It is happening on Meizu, OS Flyme, Android 5.1.
There may be some conflict related to Google Search, newer version and OS, that version.
Have to ask if anybody experienced similar issues - is there a possibility to resolve it? Thank you.

Hello,
When i try to visit my gmail account or any kind of https website, i get a blank page. I've already tried in the setting to erase cookies and cache but nothing really changes.
Anyone has an idea ?
Thanks !
I have the exact same problem!
A factory reset solved the issue so I figured I had changed some settings. However the problem reoccurred after I re-installed the apps I had downloaded before so I came to the conclusion that it was related to some of the apps. Sadly I wasn't able to rule out which since I had to log out and re-log in evertime I uninstalled an application.
Being lazy I once again did a factory reset BUT this time the issue was still there. VERY annoying since I need my Gmail Tasks.

Thanks for your reply ! I already installed many apps and I don't want to uninstall each app or do a hard reset.
I read the google code page and many users have Orange (french) as their carrier, so am I.
Maybe it comes from there, I'm going to follow this issue and as soon as I have something, I'll keep you posted !
Found a working solution in this thread:

Turns out all I needed to do was delete the proxy and port from my APN settings. I guess they were in the sim chip and then installed automatically during setup.
Hi,
I've just installed this rom on my X10 Mini Pro:
Cyanogen Gingerbread 7 based on MiniCM by slade87 (Gingerbread 2.3.3) http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1041099
Before this I was using MiniCM v6.1.
I can browse the Market and download without any problems, but when I try search for an app it doesn't find anything at all, ever. Rather, it suggests that I misspelled it.
I've tried factory reset, wiping cache and dalvik cache several times along with multiple resets, but nothing fixes it.
I've also tried replacing with the old Market, as per this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1231358 , but the new version seems to persist.
edit: Turns out I already had the old version, hence why it looked the same and I suppose didn't help fix it.
If I log into the Market on my PC is still shows the apps that were previously installed on MiniCM v6.1 as still installed.
Syncing google contacts works fine.
The calendar doesn't sync correctly - syncs birthday and holiday calendars but not my own one.
edit: calendar working alright now, fixed itself.
Did another wipe and reinstall, didn't fix it. I noticed it didn't go through the usual startup wizard.
Installed Mini CM7x Pro instead and I can now search for apps at least.
However, I can't download apps because authentication fails for Google Talk.
AAAARRRRRGGGGG!!!
At least the new problem is common. Seems to be a host of suggestions on how to fix it, but so far none have worked.
Same problem...
I have the same problem here, on X10 Mini Pro (U20i), running CyanogenMod7 v15. Before upgrading, I was running v8, with no problems (as far as I can remember). Tried several wipes and resets - nothing worked. Tried upgrading to newest (until now) Market 3.1.3, but the problem persists.
If anybody gets to a solution, PLEASE LET US KNOW!!!
Thanks!
Sweet, got it working. This worked for me:
From the home screen, press menu and click Manage applications.
Click the All tab.
Force stop (if it's open) and clear data for the following:
Google Services Framework
Market
and anything else with market in the name (although on my phone these weren't running and didn't have any data to clear, but yours might)
And finally reboot the phone.
edit: Wasn't logged into my Google account on my PC at the time, if that makes any difference.
Hey,
today I needed to turn off my phone to swap battery. On turning it back on, my Google account wasn't there anymore, a notification said "due to changes to your account you have to sign in again". But signing it just won't do it. It doesn't fail, I come to the accepting terms and conditions, but when accepting the app just closes, the account isn't created so it seems that whatever app is responsible for that just crashes for no reason without any notification. The strange things: in the process I can see only the arrow in the bottom right, not the words "next" or "accept" (at the last page), only when I tap on them I can see them. And I had no accounts.db under /data/system/users/0. Now I have that file via TB restore. And I now see, after reflashing my ROM (by wiping /system, cache and dalvik-cache in TWRP and flashing the ROM) that I also have under /data a system_ce (with accounts_ce.db) and system_de (with accounts_de.db and accounts_de.db-journal), but I don't know if I had them before the TB restore or the ROM reflashing (having english (US) and german (germany) as system languages).
No solution form anywhere else was helpful. I froze AdAway with TB, deleted /system/etc/hosts, deleted data from PlayStore and PlayServices with multiple reboots and the mentioned reflashing, nothing seems to help.
I'm running Emotion ROM based on CM 14.1 on my Note 4 N910F with latest modem and bootloader I can find. Since I don't know how far that could be ROM or CM related, I'm posting that problem here. I have absolutely no problems logging in with my account on my desktop PC via browser, even logging in on google.com from chrome on the phone is no problem. But filling in the infomation either initiated over system settings -> accounts or by opening PlayStore, I pass everything but the account is not under the accounts section and PlayStore would just open again with the login page.
Anyone any idea how to fix it? Here is a logfile of me trying to log in.
UPDATE: Just did a TWRP restore. Did not help! Going to ask Google meanwhile since it might not be a problem with my device...at least if I can find out where to do so.
PS: just looked into my account settings, it seems to recognize that I log in to my device, but that's it. Disconnectiong the device from there and trying again also doesn't work.
Hi everyone,
I have a rooted Doogee X3 running on Android 6.0 and I have an issue with the Google Play Services which are constantly crashing. I know I am not the only one, as I read a lot of posts on the topic, but I haven't still succeeded to fix the issue. What worked at the beginning was : 1. Stop the app, 2. empty cache, 3. disable the app -> factory reset for the app, 4. reboot phone, 5. enable the app, 6. reboot phone, 7. update the app, 8. reboot phone. The first time the issue appeared was after an update from Google beginning of November (the 2nd, if I recall correctly). With this, I didn't have the issue during a short month, was quite happy, but it came back yesterday, and this process didn't solve it.
Why update the app, as it seems the issue shows up after an update ? Because if I don't do it, a lot of other apps is not working either...
Current version is 11.7.46 (434-175121617).
Thank you very much for your help !
Xperia 1 J9110, updated OTA to Android 11 (55.2.A.4.47). After the update Google services basically stopped functioning. Sync is not happening for any Google application, Gmail doesn't load emails (except for once in a blue moon), Calendar is unable to sync, Youtube isn't loading anything (but Vanced is working fine), and most annoyingly Play Store just shows an error with "Try again" and only barely works if I clear its data until the next time it's launched. Logcat for these apps only says that some network requests to Google URLs are failing, but the ones that are logged appear to open fine in the browser.
Googling didn't provide any relevant information whatsoever. Sony support email is on radio silence, twitter support just directs me to the website because I'm in the wrong region.
I've tried:
* deleting Services data (though it seems impossible to completely wipe it without a factory reset)
* deleting and re-adding Google accounts
* different versions of Services and System Webview
basically everything I could think of, except for factory reset which I'm very reluctant to do due to a lot of data on the device that will take a lot of time to back up, if at all possible. Nothing worked so far.
I've also tried downgrading to Android 10, but the only ROM I found was for the Russian market, and the device refused to load without factory reset (flashing back to the "Customized EU" Android 11 solved that without factory reset). In fact Android 11 for other markets isn't booting either with a "your device is corrupt" message. I'd like to try Android 10 for EU, e.g. 55.1.A.12.28-R12B, but I can't find it anywhere on the internet.
Are there EU versions of Android 10 anywhere, or is there anything else I could try, except for factory reset as a last resort, to make Google services functional again?
