Anyone know how to display the battery percentage in the notification bar? I don't see battery as an option in the system UI tuner.

Probably because the PH-1 has a smaller notch

Yeah I can't find it anywhere either. In the Nokia 7.1 forums someone said they had a chat with a rep that said it would be implemented in a future release, for whatever that's worth...

I just got the Pie-update, and after installing that the battery-percentage is visible in the notification area. This can be changed under Settings -> Battery.

such options are there in custom ROMs like LOS etc.
Though, not sure if any custom ROM is currently available for Nokia 7.1.

Hello,
When I used to check the battery status on my previous pda, complementary to the green bar there was always the value in percentage. But with Touch Pro, I only get to see the green bar without the remaining percentage value. Does anyone know if it's possible to display that info??
I just notice that I made a mistake and posted this thread on the Raphael Rom development instead of puting in the main Raphael rom. If someone could move this thread it would be great.
try to use green battery or any other additional software
Regards
B.
Use a program called batti, puts a tiny bar at the top of your screen displaying power level and when you tap it, it give precise details on battery levels
I use this one... looks pretty neat:

Hmm, I installed the FInixNOverBatteryIconsOnly.cab and now instead of the battery icon I have permanently the "connected to the power" icon. Even when I disconnect it from the power the icon remains the same.
On top of that, supposedly this cab would only change the battery icon, but instead also change the Gprs icon...

Appologies, its part of Resco Explorer. Didn't realise that is was not part of WM6.1 as i've always had Resco installed.
Yup I tried that same FInixNOver Battery Icon only cab and instead of changing by battery icon it only changed my gprs and edge icons... something I didn't want....

As you may know, the top black bar is showing your bluetooth, wifi, signal strength, and battery icons. However you have a choice between the digital clock or your battery status (almost like a togge). I know that the reason of the toggle and not allowing both is a space issue, but i never use bluetooth and i would much rather have a clock and battery status insted of a useless bluetooth one. Is there a way to put both clock AND battery icons on the top?
BattClock.
You can download a custom taskbar I use diniks taskbar
Battclock is the best.

Google Batt line service
It puts a very thin line above the task bar and represents the charge on your battery, it totally kicks ass, I used it always before I switched to the newer 6.5.x builds.

Is there any way we can actually disable the notch, I mean literally make it black and move the status bar below the notch , just like on normal smartphones?. Will that be possible with some mod in the future,or does such a thing already exist?
That is a nice solution but they would have to write code to disable the touch completely in that area and a lot of work will be involved in case an app tries to fill that area. Xiaomi doesn't likes to work, and they create more bugs with every fixes. I am not even mentioning how odd that will look, Xiaomi doesn't likes to work but they do care about the design and want their devices to be elegant. I have never never seen such a great looking cheap casing ever in my life, even Samsung can't achieve that.

I still don't see what the big deal is. You can see the icons if you slide down the notification bar. It's a little inconvenient but not at all frustrating or unacceptable. Sure they can fix that to some extent in the future through an update but it definitely is not a deal breaker. Using an IOS device for an Android User, That's Frustrating.

Raised my voice to POCO on status bar thing,
https://twitter.com/jaimani/status/1036965116053311493?s=20
Let's see what they do.
No notification on status bar due to the notch is realy frustrating. Hardly 4 days of usage, I miss those notification icons on status bar. Its like they skipped step 1 for achieving god_knows_what. I have literally started hating the phone in 4 days itself. Trust me, its beyond frustrating. Its like you went back to Symbian OS -_-. How can they miss out on such a basic and addictive utility?!

Probably for the same reason they waste time to badly redesign Android's user interface instead of just using the standard Google layout.
At that point, that's the only reason I'm not buying this phone, until we see AOSP ports.
Would have been a no brainer if it was shipped with Android One instead of MIUI.
Well according to me, this might be the best way to overcome the notification icons problem.

I have exactly the same query. On checking several posts on internet, i have realized that 'Fullscreen' doesn't imply 'Include the notch' for notched phones. Am i wrong?
If there's only a way to include notch in all apps(playing video and games too) rather than excluding it. Seems like inclusion of notch as a part of screen for the complete UI in Poco would give a much better experience.
Hello everyone, I'm looking for an rom for poco that has Android 10 and the ability to show an battery bar. I always used havoc because it has lots of customization options very fast implemented, but with android 11 being in beta already, it lacks a lot. I installed bliss on my tablet and it did had lots of custom features including battery bar. It's not available for poco (and I dont have the disk space to compile it). Who knows a rom with this feature?

Hi!
Is it possible to change our battery indicator to MIUI or iOS style? It was possible with an Xposed module called Custom Battery Meter, but currently this is not working with OP 7T Pro OOS 10. I know there're 2 icons by default (stock/circular), but maybe one of you can make a magisk or an xposed module which can change the circular one to other style.
Maybe this is possible with some framework modification or something like that.
