I think I am finally going to give in and get the OP6T. I've heard a lot of good things about 1+'s own cases and wanted to get everyone's opinion. I'm going back and forth between the Karbon and the Nylon cases. Should I go for one of those or find one on Amazon?

I like carbon fiber so I bought the Carbon case when I bought the phone.

I had the Karbon case for the 5T and really liked it - felt great and was minimal enough to not spoil the phone, but it did crack after a while and I lost a couple of corners from it. I'm not clumsy or careless, so that wasn't good enough for me.
I've been using Ornarto cases since then and they're very similar but a lot sturdier. They're also cheaper than you'd expect for a good minimal case. I currently have one on my P20 Pro, but that's mainly to stop it sliding off the sofa every 10 seconds

They add the same amount of bulk as far as I can tell. That being said, they are rather small in comparison to the tech 21 I got.

Did you get the green color as well? Ever since the Mate 20 pro showed the emerald green I've really enjoyed seeing that color on phones.
I couldnt decide which case to buy...
So i ordered the carbon and ebony bumper case. Furthermore the protecive sandstone case.
They will arrive this friday.
Hoping the bumpers dont make the phone to big... But at least they offer full protection. Took the protective case to have a case that keeps the phone slim

Yes, I ordered the one in the link I gave - they call it "Frosted Army Green". Ever since I had it on my P20 Pro I've fallen in love with it. They're both turning up today, so when I get them I'll take some shots.

All the side buttons work fine, and it's just a cut-out where the alert slider is. It feels good, totally non-slippy, and there's no rocking at all due to the camera.
I'm very happy with it. Now I just need to finish off with the P20 Pro so I can put it away, because they look almost exactly the same with the screens off!

This case has to be one of the best case for our galaxy note. It fits tight and snug and it double protected with two case. I have tried over four cases and none can compare. It's fine it doesn't affect the camera or the sensor at all. I had another case that was similar to this one but it made the sensor act up a few times. But haven't had any issues with this case!

The case is very solid I dropped it a few times already and handled the drop well. I also think the texture of the plastic feels:good: good.... I'm really pleased with the case for $10 I feel it was a good buy!

Yea from looks it does look close to it! I did notice that this case the ports are covered and theirs a lot more grip on the rear of it! the Seidio stand looks nicer though and it looks like you can position device standing up or laying down!!!

Great case. I got the white one off ebay for under 10 bux with the belt clip holster. Great size on the kick stand use it a lot even when i hold my phone in landscape mode. Good grip. Only thing i just wish the rubber/silicone was like tpu or something stronger.
Just got the case posted in OP, loving it so far. Highly recommended, and for under $15 shipped, you can't go wrong.
How's the bulk with this case? Is it hard to slide out of your pocket with the silicon?

The lip all the way around isn't quite right. By this I mean stuff gets stuck in it and I have to remove it to clean the crevices.
Anyone have a better case than the Diztronic they recommend?

I love my cruzerlite with the android logo on the back. It's super svelt and you can see the notification light on the power button. I got the smokey gray one. Perfect fit, feels great, no problems in/out of pocket, good price ($15 range).

I've got both case and I find the Diztronic to fit much, much better and just is of much better quality. The Cruzerlite does fell much slimmer, though it seems to have a bit of sag on the top & bottom edges and the sides seem to give more if brushed against when swiping & such.

I was so excited to get the clear one, but the damn thing leaves air pockets on the back and makes it look hideous instead of showing off its beauty, I was pretty disappointed with it ha

I got the diztronic just to hold me over until I found one I actually wanted but when I got it I realized I actually really like it. Fits like a glove and I can hardly tell its on from the front. Plus I like the soft tpu feel.
I just got my Diztronic in today, loving how slim it is, and I doubt the TPU will break in half on the weak part just from plugging/unplugging the charger like the surround case I had.
That said, I'm not looking forward to finding out what happens when my clumsy *** lets it slip out of my hands...

I have almost every color because I absolutely love the Cruzerlite cases & this way I can switch out to whatever color strikes me at the moment. I find the ribbing along the side to be a fantastic perk because this enables grasping the phone much easier plus the cases just look awesome.
Meant to add that I also have the Diztronic case & also like that one quite well.

Lmao, i know, it sounds really stupid but i like the back of this phone, its sexy it is a nice case otherwise though, just a bit OCD about it haha
The back of this phone does look really nice. Until a spec of dust drops on it from 1/2 inch and it shatters or you go outside and its 2 degrees colder then it was in your house and it splinters like a spiderweb.

Lol, yeah, I used to be worried about it but its been about 70 in my house and 30 outside and never happened, and the day dust cracks class is the the day I move into a windowless apartment haha I'm not too worried about it honestly.

yeah, when my first OG broke I was sooo sad! This phone really is a looker, would of been even better if it had the removable back the OG pro does, then we wouldn't even have to worry about covering our babies! Lol
Just got this in the mail 2 days ago so I just wanted to share some thoughts on it.
First off the fitment is perfect. It actually fits a little better than the stock backing. This is the Silver w/ white trim which looks amazing on my white Note 3.
It also definitely adds a decent amount of weight to the phone so for those that want to keep the phone feather light this is not something I would recommend to you.
I don't really use NFC much so I haven't really tested how much it affects it. But I haven't noticed any degrading in my cell and wifi signal.
Overall I love this back because it makes the phone feel a whole lot sturdier. Almost feels like my HTC one in terms of build feel but do remember what I said about the added weight.
Hope this helps some people who were thinking about getting this.

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking but I've removed the backing a few times already and there is not marking at all.

I've got the black w/ white trim version on my GN3. These cases are noticeably thicker than the stock case, between 0.5 and 1.0 mm thicker, I'd say. The protrusion from the camera is reduced, but it still sticks out. I'd eyeball the camera bump at 1/3mm with the aluminum case.
As someone has mentioned, these are plastic backs with a very thin metal layer.
I'm undecided if I'm seeing signal difference or not. If I am, it's less than 1-bar on average.
Note that these backs are much slicker than stock. Almost slippery in the hand. They are extremely smooth, other than a slight horizontal brushed effect.
Overall, I'm happy with the new back, but I'm probably going to revert to stock. I ordered the replacement before I had my phone in-hand and I find I like the stock back a lot more than I was expecting to.

Not sure if we're buying the same ones but my camera doesn't stick out at all.
It's very close but definitely tucked in enough to protect the camera lens.
So I've been looking around for an aluminum protective case for my note 3 since it came home. As most of you have heard from others, the full aluminum cases despite the protection, suffer from drastic signal loss. I figured I couldn't go wrong with an aluminum bumper and bought two awesome looking bumpers off ebay. One is a gorgeous solid aluminum bumper with no hole for mic but really nicely made and a thin aluminum bumper with all openings. The biggest drawback of both of these bumpers is that there is no camera protection. As all of you have noticed the rear camera is raised a bit, which makes these bumpers a no go if your laying it down on rear. I saw a full protective case on Ebay that was composed of three pieces : aluminum frame, silicone style case and aluminum rear with a cutout. I went ahead and ordered for a measly $14 and some change, thinking it wouldn't be a big loss. My package arrived today from Hong Kong and I couldn't be happier. I absolutely love it. It is the exact look and feel I wanted. For those who want a nice solid aluminum case with no signal loss I recommend you get one. I hardly write stuff on here but I felt compelled to share my experience.

Thanks for reply and yes it's not for everyone, does make it a bit blocky but I can deal with it
I ordered the same since I dropped my phone with the sure case and now the silver rim is a bit brused..... wonder if I can put this on and still be able to put it inside of the screw case?

Does it work with the s charging cover? If so, no need to worry about camera lens as the back sticks out further than lens.

I would think nfc/wireless charging. A bit too industrial looking for me, but it all depends on the eye of the beholder. Definitely unique though.

I'm pretty sure its for NFC as well. Plus it helps with reception as opposed to solid rear cases with affect reception. Personally I'd like to see someone step it up and make some premium CNC cut luxury cases lime they make for iphones with nicely made cut outs in rear. I reached out to three of those companies today , like MeeJoJo and 2 of them said only iphones and s4 's.
These are just some cnc cases for iphone 5s that I'd like to see for our phones.
I think that case is ugly and weird looking. I think it makes the phone look like a plain block of metal. Maybe it would look better if it was black anodized aluminum.

Had something similar for my previous Note 2. These metal cases tend to cause the phone signal to degrade. Hope you guys won't experience that problem.

I'm a fan of metal cases. I think you may have found the ugliest one of them all.

Normally I give this case a perfect score but I'm not liking the company logo in the center of the Android this time. I have this case and the Spigen slim armor and recommend both. This TPU case feels thinner obviously.
I feel the same way about the logo. I hope this phone becomes popular enough for them to male a few different styles. Cruzerlite has always been top notch in quality and customer service for me.

I really like these cases (I've had one on my Nexus 7 2013 for almost a year now), however, I've noticed as you mentioned the TPU is very thin. The case is great, but it has become stretched out in one corner over time and now it just looks a little weird, even though its not extremely noticeable unless you are holding the device. Are any of these issues still present in the newer ones? I was thinking about picking one up for my G3, but I don't want to to get stretched out and look bad or cause damage to the phone if it comes off during a drop.
I've never had that problem with any of the cases I've owned. Might be a tablet case problem. These cases have been solid for me.

I was considering this since the reviews say that it's still pretty slim while also providing decent protection. My question, though, is what is the texture of the case? Does it feel grippy?
I want a case that has some kind of traction in my hands so that it feels secure without me having to always feel like I should have an iron grip on it.
I have a Ghostek hard case which does offer a bit more trip than the stock back of the phone, but honestly not by much. I want something that will stay in my hands.

It has a smooth feel but not too slick. It doesn't feel sticky link the cases they had at the Verizon store. I wouldn't call the best grip but it's worked for me so far. My old Cruzerlite case on my GNex had ridges on the side that gave a better grip. The G3 model does not.
For $10 on Amazon, I think it's worth a go if to aren't looking for something that feels tacky.
It's a soft rubber feel to it. Not slippery. Best way to describe it is a "matte" feel to it. I like it.

If I remember correctly it was the same material they used on the LG Dare for the back. Yes very similar to that rubberized plastic.

I have to agree about the company logo in the middle of the Android mascot. I used this case on the Nexus 5 and now on the G3 and I love it. Great drop protection and a nice non-slip rubbery feel

I ordered one of these today also, I had one on my s3 and I liked that it had ridges on the sides to give u better grip. Hopefully this will work for me, I like that it is clear and will show off the design of this phone. This is the first phone I've ever owned that I feel like I can use it without a case because of the feel of it. Better b safe then sorry though.

No I have a Spigen tempered glass one so its slightly thicker than a normal one. Its .23mm thick so I wasn't sure if it would distort the case or not.
