Stop opening Google Photos after taking a picture. - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

Hey guys,
when I take a picture with my Gcam app, Google Photos opens automatically after it. So it's not possible to shoot multiple pictures in a row. Is this a bug? Google Photos sync is disabled, so why does Google Photos open after each shot?
Thanks a lot!

[Q]Google Drive Photos and Gallery App

Hello all,
I am currently storing all of my photos in a folder named "Photos" in Google Drive. I would like to know if there is a way to bring up those photos in the Gallery app on my Thrive? Also when I upload new photos I would like them to show up in there as well.
It is annoying to view the photos in the google drive app since you can't view all the thumbnails largely all at once and browse quickly.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!
I'd like to know this as well.
*bump* I'd love to know this

[Q] Does deleting photos from Gallery also delete them from Google Photos?

My auto backup is turned on for Google Photos. Any pictures I take on my phone automatically get uploaded to my Google Photos online. If I go through my Gallery app (not my Photos app) and delete pics, will they also be deleted from my Google Photos online next time I sync?

Funny how no one has addressed this yet. People are fooled by the numerous videos on Youtube on how to remove the photos. But all those videos show the exact same instructions which only remove the photos from syncing to that device. It does not delete them. Once you buy a new phone, those photos will show up again.
I would like to know where they are coming from..

Migrated to a new Phone - How to Show Photos in my Google Drive Folder in Photo App?

Hi Everyone,
I recently migrated from a Nexus 6P to a Note 8. Previously, all my camera photos taken on 6P was synced to Google Drive's Google Photos folder. Now that I migrated to the Note 8, the Photos / Gallery app only shows photos taken on the Note 8. If I wanted to view my old photos, I'd have to go into Google Drive app.
Is there a way to sync Google Drive with Photos or Gallery app?

Either you will have to manually download all photos from Google Drive and then place them in respective folders. Or install a gallery app that allows cloud sync, for eg. QuickPic does that.
bump anyone else?

Help getting Google Photos to sync with Samsung Gallery

I would like all of the existing Photos, videos, etc in my Google Photos (or Drive) to sync to the Samsung Gallery app on this new S9+. I've done searches and I can't seem to find a clear cut answer as to how to accomplish this. For now I'm using Photos as the default photo/video gallery app. Please just bear with me, I've been using Google Nexus products for so long that I've become used to the stock Android experience and almost strictly using native Google apps for everything. Thanks in advance.

Any good options for displaying my google photos on Wear OS? My wife and I share an account and all pictures we take get uploaded to the same google photos account. It'd be nice to view them on the watch. Thanks!

My app NavExplorer has a way to transfer files and view photos on the watch or set them to a watch face background or complication. You would have to download them to your phone or computer before transferring them though. I'd be happy to integrate with Google Photos, though I'm not sure if there is a way to access them directly.
If you just want to view them, I believe there is a browser app for Wear OS out there so you could just open the site.
