Hi xda,
i bought a umidigi plus 'extreme' and i was wondering and looking around doesn't look much supported for modding.
i wanted to install cyanogenmod on it but i have not found much documentation.
Here there is a post for rooting it but explanation is not very detailed.

Hi, i'm all new to XDA and i hope, creating this thread was not the wrong way to do. If so, thanks for pointing me in the right direction then.
I actually only wanted to know if there is an existing port of the google pixel 2/3 camera app that actually works on an Umidigi One Pro and if not so, are there any devs interested in making one ?
The device itself is a really great phone, only the camera is below average and i was hoping to improve that by using the gCam, only i can't seem to find any recent version that works on the device and i almost tried them all by now.

I don't think that Umidigi One Pro will ever get the GCam because of Mediatek. Snapdragon devices manage in getting it thanks to the Hexagon DSP, which is inside Snapdragon processors. A good solution for the camera of your Umidigi One Pro could be the Lenovo Snap-It camera, I used it on my old Umidigi S2 and it increased a lot the quality of my photos. I leave you the link to download it (unfortunately the thread was abandoned so that app won't get updates but it will surely be better than your system camera app)

I was a proud owner of Sony Z3C, but it's touchscreen and audio jack died, so after some research I switched to Note 5 Whyred.
I enjoy amateur photography - I read that the sensors in this phone are good, and I think they are yet I can't control shutter speed?
I plan on unlocking the bootloader in about 7 days, so I wanted to prepare in the meantime.
So my main question(s) would be : Is there a good rom for light use that benefits multimedia such as photography/video recording, while retaining or improving battery life? I am not a gamer anymore xD And is there any app/rom/anything that can help me with advanced camera controls (I plan on enabling Camera2API, but I would like shutter speed control and exposure time).

please support create custom rom for lenovo z6 lite, i know you guys you can do what you want, this phone is really rockin! it is buck for the price the specs are good for that price point, many people will buy this phone and i'm sure i'm not the only one looking for a custom rom right now.. create a custom rom please, thanks a lot and more power to all friendly developers here..
