Hi,
I have a Peugeot 208 2016 that I bought second-hand. It has an Android HU with Android version 4.4.4. I was told that it is an aftermarket Android unit, but I don't have any information about the model. I checked the settings and haven't found any option for an update. I've seen people on YouTube updating the firmware of other units using an SD card, but I haven't found a download and I don't know which would be compatible anyway. I've included the software information below. Can you please help me find an update for this HU?
Thank you
Edit: it wouldn't let me post the links, so here is some of the information:
Model number: M374

Hi,
I am fairly new to smart phone development so please go easy on me this time
First, some info on my environment:
MacBook Pro
Mac OS X 10.7.5
Samsung GT-I9100
No SIM card installed yet
Samsung Kies 2.0.0.12095_7
Model Number: GT-I9100
Adroid Version: 4.0.3
Baseband Version: I9100UHLPE
Kernel Version: 3.0.15-I9100UHLPE-CL200654 [email protected] #3
Build Number: IML74K.UHLPE
Location: Eastern Standard Time, USA
So, my Samsung i9100 arrived this week from NewEgg.com. I was surprised it came installed with Adroid Version 4.0.3. Then I read that Samsung recently released 4.0.4 so I installed Kies, hoping to upgrade to 4.0.4.
In Kies, under Firmware Information, I see the following:
This is the latest firmware.
Current firmware version: PDA:LPE / PHONE:LPE / CSC:LPE(TTT)
Latest firmware version: PDA:LPE / PHONE:LPE / CSC:LPE(TTT)
I read that the firmware version can also be obtained by opening the dial pad and typing *#1234# So I did that and found this:
PDA: I9100UHLPE
PHONE: I9100UHLPE
CSC: I9100UUBLPE
Build Info: Fri Mar 9 13:49:34 KST 2012
Now I am confused:
1.) Did my phone arrive from NewEgg with an official Samsung Android version?
2.) Why is Kies not displaying the firmware version and how can I fix it?
3.) Assuming I get Kies fixed, lets say I want to wipe my phone, start from scratch, and install the official Samsung version of 4.0.4 Is that possible and how?
4.) Any other recommendations?
Thanks for your help!
I have Samsung (SM-G900FD) with Lolipop(5.0) and I want to root it without tripping the knox. I have been searching the internet for past couple of days and I have found a way. It involves, among other steps, downloading and installing the "towelroot" apk, but here is the problem. Towelroot method does not work with Lolipop and I have to downgrade the software to Kitkat(4.4.2), the software version my phone came with.
Once again I have searched thoroughly to find a way to downgrade to Kitkat and I came to the understanding that I need to download official KitKat firmware from sammobile and install it manually, but I don't know which firmware to download from the list that appears against my phone's model.
I have following questions:
1. How will I know which firmware to download from the list.
2. Once I have downgraded and rooted my phone, can I upgrade to android 5.0
Here is my device info,
Model Number: SM-G900FD
Android Version: 5.0
Baseband version: G900FDXXU1BOE1,G900FDXXU1BOE1
Kernel Version: 3.4.0-4516970, [email protected] #1, Tue May 12 13:27:06 KST 2015
Build Number: LRX21T.G900FDXXU1BOE2
SE for Android status: Enforcing, SEPF_SM-G900FD_5.0_0027
United Arab Emirates: TRA ID : 0016333/08, TA : 00000000/00
Anyone?
have you found already..?

Hi. I have Xperia z2. Upgraded it to marshmallow(D6503_23.5.A.1.291_Movistar Es) using Xperia flashtool and software downloaded by xperifirm. But after 3-4 days my device lost signals and it says no signal/no service. Previous software version was 4.4.2 Movistar_ES. I don't remember the baseband and kernel version. Tried many firmware which is listed below:
D6503_17.1.A.2.55_1281-1985_PCT
D6503_17.1.1.A.0.402_UK+Generic+1282-0226_R2A
D6503_17.1.A.2.55_Unbranded
D6503_23.5.A.1.291_1282-0226_R11D
D6503_23.5.A.1.291_Movistar Es
I tried code *#*#4636#*#* and it says to turn on the radio. And I'm unable to turn on the cellular radio.
And when I asked Movistar about the previous version they just sent me this information:
Build number: 17.1.2.A.0.314
Kernel version: 3.4.0-perf-g35f9635 BuildUser @ BuildHost # 1 Wed Jul 2 23:48:27 2014
Baseband version: 8974-AAAAANPZQ-00005-10
Android version: 4.4.2 (Kit Kat)
Script: D6503_17.1.2.A.0.314_Movistar-ES_1281-4646_R10A
Unable to find this software. Could you please help me out, guys? Is there any way to get signals back?
Kind regards,
