[Q] Help handset bricked trying to install custom ROM

Hi I have attempted to install experience rom on my xperia U. Firstly i successfully unlocked the boot loader. I then rooted it and installed CWM recovery all still good. I the transferred the ROM image to the phone went into recovery did a wipe data factory reset and wipe cash partition. Also wipe dalvick cache. Selected the ROM and install started, it hung, only way out was battery pull, I went back into recovery same thing happened, finally tried once more and it hung at about 75%. Now phone goes in a loop sony logo to black screen and I cant get into recovery mode. I have searched to see if I can find a way out but not found a way around it yet. I would be very grateful for any help with this.

flash stock ICS Rom ftf with flashtool
Thanks for help
Thanks I managed to flash stock Gingerbread in the end.
In case anyone else has a similar problem here is a handy guide I found. (youtube.com/watch?v=hPPWRXcsz7g)
Where it says connect phone I found you need to connect it in fast boot (hold volume up button as you connect it) when the software is ready to flash un-plug phone then connect in flash mode (hold volume down button as you connect).

Galaxy S4 mini(Shv-e370k) bootloop

I own a galaxy s4 mini(shv-e370k). When i flashed stock rom from odin it said pass. So when it auto-rebooted it booted on previous cwm recovery not stock one. After that booting system goes into bootloop with vibration and s4 mini logo. Also formatting delvik cache leads to rebooting system (which is bootloop) as if system crashed. Same goes for factory reset. But wiping cache partition is successful.
Anyone knows what is my problem????
HELP NEEDED PLEASE!!
Sounds strange; one suggestion is: go into download mode, try re-installing CWM (if it worked before) or try installing TWRP and try again. Perhaps CWM got broken.

Tried it . doesn't work. I think there is some thing wrong with userdata(data) partition. When i format data or dalvik cache it auto reboots. formatting cache and system from cwm completes without problem. Anyway i can fix it if data partition is corrupted?

i have the same issue, tried different recovery projects, OFRP and TWRP. both seem to have the same issue, with the message "encryption unsuccessful" and if i tried to press the "RESET DEVICE" button i get stuck in a boot loop.
i also factory reset my device, formatted everything via the recovery project menu then booted into recovery and installed the CUSTOM ROMS.
tried also to DFE but nothing seem to change even with encryption disabled.
but i scarcely manged to bypass this issue by; after wiping everything boot into recovery and install whatever rom you want and install gapps after it, better still install firmware vendor if the rom of your choice doesnt include them.
never mind, i fixed it.
in my case i was trying to flash LineageMicroG 16 on my Device and i kept getting that error and i did the following to fix it;
wiped everything and wrote "yes" to format the date and swiped for a factory reset through recovery wipe option then i booted into recovery and flashed LineagemicroG 16 after that i flashed optimus drunk kernel and booted into system and everything seemed to work fine, the kernel is what fixed the problem.

[Help] Disable request for factory reset/stuck in recovery loop

Hi,
I have Unnihertz Titan (Mediatek based) and I sucesfuly flashed TWRP by using a guide and got root via Magisk. Everything was working fine, I tried to restore some partial backups and it failed, so I tried Factory reset. Didn't worked from TWRP (now I know that because /data partition was encrypted), so I tried from settings. That was huge error. Now I'm stuck in the loop, bootloader tries to run recovery to do Factory reset, but the alpha TWRP I installed doesn't react and what is worse it doesn't clear the request for Factory reset so even after wiping /data and cache, I still end up in TWRP and not system. Any idea where the request for Factory reset might be stored?
Ok, found it, it was in `para` partition and all I had to do was erase it using fastboot.

Bootloop even after Miflash reset.

Hi everyone
After a normal reboot, from a working system (12.0.1 Stable Miui), my phone got stuck in a bootloop.
Tryed this so far.
Wipe cache
Wipe cache data
Wipe all (cache data ssytem storage
Flash same rom
Wipe all
Flash other miui.
Format Data
Tryied again the same steps again
Nothing
Tried on MiFlash with fastboot rom.
Nothing
Flash TWRP
Flash some miui.eu
Nothing.
Even with no errors on all steps, it continues on bootloop...
Anyone has any ideia?
Update;
Flashed some Custom Rom.
The charging animation has changed, but it is still on bootloop.
Almost giving up
