Hi Guys,
since im not using GoogleFit on my watch, i would like to bind other Apps/Screens to my swipe right->left on the watchface.
Another Idea is just to disable the feature at all.
Anyone here an idea, how to change this?
My Ideas:
1. Somehow hack WearOS? Probably with Magisk or anything else, root required.
2. Use Autowear to display an invisible button to cover the area and add your own screen or apps. (I think very easy to do, ill try that next).
I'm on a rooted Huawei Watch 2.
WearOS: 2.1
LG Naith
Any update on this?
I'm interested in that too!

same as above
The Ticwatch Pro uses its own health app so it would be nice to have the option to change it to Google Fit.

You can do that if you are on 2.2: swipe right>press and hold>select Google Fit

This is an attempt to get some better understanding of how the exhibition mode works in CM7 based roms for the Touchpad. So far I know that when you put the TouchPad on the TouchStone, it opens up the clock. Some people have been asking how to disable that. After some googling, I came upon this error on the cmtouchpad issue log:
http://code.google.com/p/cmtouchpad/issues/detail?id=149
Posts 7 and 12 seem to give advice how to turn off the exhibition mode.
You apparently have to create or edit the file:
/data/local/userinit.sh
to add the line:
echo 1 > /sys/module/a6/parameters/disable_dock_switch
I personally don't want to do this, but I thought some others might find it handy. What I am interested in is figuring out how to change what app is brought up when you place the TP on the TS. Input/ ideas?
There is a free app that disables it.

Also Alarm Clock Plus lets you pick which app launches on docking. It also lets you disable it. I read tasker does too, but I don't use that app.

It's just an app. If you download another app that identifies as a dock app, when you dock again you'll get the option to set the default docking app.
I haven't tried many, desk clock plus is one that lets you play music, display photos etc.

It's the identifying as a dock app that I want to learn more about, i.e. can I force an app to be brought up that does not have the option integrated into it? There must be some xml file to edit that you can specify additional apps to be brought up when docking.
I do not want to install an app to do this. (an app to launch another app)

You just don't want to use alarm clock plus? You can specify any installed app to start when docked through that app. You get the desired result, I must be missing the negative.

I just think it is silly to have an app activate an app based on a notification rather than be able to customize either the notification or the app I want to use directly. This is xda-developers, I want to develop dammit, not be restricted to the norm of how it should act
small apps
I found the following info on rootzwiki.. try at your own risk :good:
I use the following to replicate the photo frame exhibition mode from webos
1. antek app manager (free) - freeze the clock to disable it - optional
2. photo slides(free) - to display photos as in a slideshow (you can us any app you want)
3. settings profile lite(free) - added a rule ( condition = dock and action = start app photo slides.photo frame when condition met and kill app on condition exit)
as soon as I put on touchstone starts displaying photos and when I pick up the touchpad goes to home screen
if they would make games for this i would pay for one or two :good:
a more refined calculator would be good too
food/diet apps (that should be accurate with calories, etc.)
a spending tracker app

A good keyboard and a system for answering msgs (or, why not, other apps such as whatsapp) would be VERY appreciated too.
I would pay also for something like flipboard (of course with a different and smarter layout).

Yep, I forgot Appy geek xD
And again Yep, i use my gear fit with my note 3 and it would be great to have the possibility to write down something (msgs, whatsapp, other stuffs) without getting the note out from the backpack, especially while u are walking or moving in general.
Technically it would be feasible using the layout of the old physical keyboards of cell phones (3letters per key) to bypass the problem of the screen dimension.

There is AMAZING
^ Flappy bird or snake or puzzle games would be great like I mentioned in another thread. :good:
Or samsung can make avatars like they did where u can design your own avatar to look like you and be used for health apps
A good general exercise heart rate monitor app. The apps included don't work for me.
Clock with Weather and Step count
I'd be willing to pay $10 for a watch face that shows Time/Date, Weather (the same way it shows it on the pre-loaded wallpaper), and Steps (again, same way it shows it on default wallpaper).
I have my watch oriented vertically and I don't really care for the large amount of space that the time takes up on the watch face. I'd love to have the screen divided into thirds with each third containing some useful information.
A keyboard basic. Sometimes thé phone is in the table. I have à baby in my arms sleeping. I can Not take the phone. But i have à gear fit in my hand. But i can Not answer a Good Answer...
I wish to get Sleep as Android to work with gear fit, but the developer said the API does not allow access to the accelerometer.
Gear Fit Fake Call
I think Gear Fit Fake call it useful app you'll pay for it : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ehz.inc.gearfitfakecall
I would like to see an app, what give more time to notifications (SMS's, e-mails, FB etc.) or just lock it to screen like calendar alarms do. 1 - 2 sec. screen showing time is too short.

Two apps I'd like to see
There are two apps I'd pay for.
1) An alarm function. This could be set up from the phone or the Gear Fit,
It could be set from the phone or the device, but it would be really nice to
have it vibrate at a preset so I could wake up or remember an appointment.
2) I like the idea of including the weather and steps in a V-clock, but I
want those with both an analog and digital clock together than looks something
like the attached png.

Real-time pm2.5 index in specified city.
i would pay for an app which will let me launch tasker shortcuts from my watch.
there was already one named "gear fit launcher", but it doesn't work because its not signed.

Hello,
I would like to know if it's possible to edit a stock smartwatch face ? I mean, i would like to modify the "Jogging track" face that come by default, and add a battery information on it.
Is it possible ?
Thanks for your help
Those are not wfz faces, they are in an APK.
So you have to get that APK from the watch ( or the corresponding ROM ), decompile it, change the code and recompile it.

You know that you can modify some of the stock faces?
Yes you can but not selecting the watch face from the Amazfit app but directly from the watch.
Swipe left-right trough the face collection without selecting one, you will see that some of them have a SETTINGS button down push it and you will have to swipe up/down to customize and swipe left right to choose what you customize.
The most customizing face is Eternal Moment.

Edit.
For some you can choose a photo as background

1.You can use the Popup widget app to create some widget of Google Keep with some shortcut. => you get the thing like the app who run widget.
2. Add this "thing" to main screen
3. in the Task panel add your "thing"
Hello!
Would it be possible for someone with a Yotaphone3+ to extract and share Yota APKs, using for example APK extractor from F-Droid, to see if some of them would work on the Yotaphone3? I tried this from my Yotaphone2 with no luck, I couldn't get the com.yota.xxxx APKs to work on the yota3. I really miss the e-ink lock screen notifications of my yota2 and find the yota3's lock screen too basic.
Thanks.
The apk's from Yota3+ doesn't work on Yota3. I have tryed .
You can found it here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=78307508&postcount=33
Thanks, I had missed your post. I guess the only possibility then is to reverse engineer the APKs from my Y3 to see if I can figure out how to create an e-ink lock screen, I'll have a look but that sounds like it could be a lot of work.

If you don't want to work a lot, you could upgrade to yota3+.
The e-ink screen software is really complete (except for mirroring mode and landscape mode)

Yep, I agree. Thanks. I have been following the thread, it's really really good news and quite impressive. On the other hand, I also liked the idea of having a phone without google (F-Droid and a few extra APKs are enough for my use). The launcher by joygram makes the Y3's eink screen more usable, but the lack of proper lock screen with more notifications or the ability to display the current page of book being read is so disappointing.
