Selling for $26?! What's the catch, are they made from unstable note 7 battery packs?

Never bro.. They took some duct tape, said hey, the Note 7's explosion wasn't big enough... So they took a battery from a Motorola StarTAK, fused it with a bulging battery of a very very used Nokia 5190, added a few AA batteries and a 3,700 mAh battery inside the case and said hey, you still have that 5190? Cool, lets go play snake!
Well I took one for the team and ordered it should arrive anywhere from December 11th to January 6th I'll let you know

Scary. I'm stuck between grabbing the oneplus 6t or the note9 specifically because of the external battery case. I stuck with the Note 4 for many years because of the battery Tank offered by Zero Lemon. They now have that same power solution for the note 9, but oneplus 6t will cost me less...

The 6ts battery is beast. I get like 5 hours screen on time and that's only at 50 percent battery
I got the battery case from ebay today, testing it out right now. It does not fit very well, definately was not build for the 6T the clamps on the side, barely hold the phone, therefore I wouldn't buy it again, I will try to take some fotos once I am home later.
I got one. It doesn't work with our phone, and the fitment seems as if it were for the 6. I got a refund. The case can be used as a portable battery pack though, via the bottom usb port for charging.
Bought it!!!
I bought this battery case from eBay! Whilst it does fit the OP6T it's actually for the OP6. The case is a tight fit width wise and manages to cover the top just. All in all, it's ok for the price though. I haven't used it as of yet so I couldn't tell how well it lasts.

Any chance we can get a few pics? I'm thinking of getting this case but I'm weary of the fitment.
Purchased this case, I like it, not as slim as they state but does the job. Small lip in the front. I've bought plenty of cases cheaper and expensive, so for the price I think it's okay.

Ive Read About Laza's Regular 1900 Slim Battery's But This One Is Different And Looks Better Than Other Extended Battery's Ive Seen. Plus All Of Its Reviews Are A1
I just bought this battery on ebay today for $13 and its an USA seller too. It should be here a little less than a week. Ill probably put up a video or pics of my first impression and close up the battery if you guys want. Then a little after I'll do a full review once I train my battery and give it some tests. I'm a pretty heavy user so dont be disappointed if I get less than 10 hours, since I average 3-4 hours off the stock battery.

I would suggest you read the reviews right from the Amazon link you posted. They give you exactly what you are asking for, personal reviews. Because of this I ordered one and I love it. I cut a hole in my TPU case to fit the cover, it's not perfect it gets the job done as I don't want my phone to be without a case/cover and it only cost me 4 bucks at the time.
When you get it it says that it needs five full charge and discharge cycles for full capacity. I actually used it once for TWO DAYS on a single full charge. :highfive:
The oddly shaped case is a love or hate design. The plus is that the edges are the thickness of a regular case instead of the fat thickness all other extended batteries have. I also feel it fits better and the buttons, power volume up and down, work better than other backs I've seen although I've never seen the Seidio back. Minus is that the design has this huge unsightly bulge and less than nice aesthetics.

This battery is great idk why one of the posters thinks they lie. I bought if for about 13 bucks. I can ge about 14 hours of medium to heavy use. Which is way way better than stock. I have a sorta review on the android forums i just cant link cause im new here :/

Wow billet cnc that is pretty cool. At first I though it had a solid screen cover that was removable in a safety deposit box kind of way, at that point I would have bought one. but that was showing how to put the back on, not the usage.

I would consider it, but I'm worried about signal loss.
It's seems in the photo that the spen would be hard to get out.
Looks great but that silk screening on the back is horrendous and I'm not convinced it won't screw with the signals.

exactly,,after I looked again that silk screen it would have blow the deal. But the concept is good. The N3, really think missed the mark on the chrome surround rim it should be much gippier/sharp edged. after a couple weeks use still not used to it. It looks great and speaks to the history of phones that had a solid horizontal sheet of steel in them, is retro Bond like, but it is just too slippery I just ordered a bounce case to see if I'm more comfortable handling it. I haven't been able to relax with it yet moving from desk to car to home to it's most common spot Oxford shirt pocket.(a la pen protector IT nerd.). Ultimately I want a soft zipper less bag on belt loops that has room for 7 cards and USB key but the phone should still be grippier in hand.
Here's one without the silk screening on the back.

Not much money for cnc billet, if it meets your requirements GET IT. if you zoom browser on the bronze assembly it looks like there is some foam tape along the edge where the phone makes contact. Seems like a real engineer has been influencing this build at some level. I'm in the auto industry and foam and glue are the bread and butter of building.
If it had micro cut machining along the edge I would have already bought it.
They really do make your phone look like a giant iPhone lol its looks good tho. But not a apple fan

I bought one, If I build my ideal belt pouch I think this will be much nicer than the Bounce for phone alone, 20$ for billet machined is too good to pass up regardless of what from it will eventually take. I'm anticipating the anodizing to be rather thin but that may be good or bad. torched or steampunk look is possible.
also men of the world keep your finger nails short, even if you don't work, at least pretend.
I just purchased one also, just too s*xy looking to pass up
Im planning to use with a Qi charger and reciever I bought two weeks ago. I'll not be using the stock battery cover so hopefully it will work fine.

Should be 4 days to 3 weeks if my previous Hong Kong / Singapore experience is correct. Usually Hong Kong is most erratic. China and Korea are pretty much 4 to 5 days regardless.
I was so about to get one of these for my note II, but it was $70 back then, plus it came out around 6 months after I got my phone, wasn't going to buy an expensive case when the new phone was around the corner...
Now I ponder to get this or stick with my flip cover, I love the S-view case and the flip cover on my note II was nice too, but this looks oh-so-nice

You could always use an external battery pack also for emergencies.

I have an Anker 10,000 Mah for my Nexus 10, but even then I hate to leave my phone plugged in all the time, and I use hotspot all the time, which eats battery for breakfast.
will an extended battery fit under the stock case? and isn't the stock battery 3300 MaH?
I haven't seen any extended batteries that fit under the stock case and I doubt they exist. There are some on eBay rated higher MaH but those are definitely bs.

Yea ur right its 3200. 3300 just has a better ring to it.
And ebay batteries I wouldnt trust, I used to buy the cheap ones back when I had the evo line, but ever since I went samsung I always buy oem through the carrier, better warranty support that way too

My screen gave out on my S3 so just ordered the note 3.
I have also ordered the s view case in black with built in qi charger from handtec, It was about £50 delivered.
So now I need a QI charging block....
Maybe a tempered glass screen protector...
Any suggestions on the above that will work well together and fit.
I have seen QI blocks for quite cheap... but was tempted to go for a power bank one. I could always do that at a later, and get a cheaper standard block now.
Is there anything to watch out for or avoid with these QI blocks? Do the cheaper ones just do the same job?
And which tempered glass protector will work well with the s view?
Any other must haves?
@dbairduk
Congrats on the note purchase, you'll love it!
I would recommend a tempered glass screen protector (perhaps one from eBay, depends on how much you're willing to pay). Especially since you will be using the S-View flip cover. I had this case for about three days and it left a gnarly scratch on my screen. Here is a thread that shows the damage done (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2521821). Other than that, I'd say have fun and enjoy
Just a tempered glass.
I currently have the 17 dollar FLEX Tempered glass by iLoome, but I heard the 7 dollar tempered glass are pretty good too, except that they are kinda thick, though that means more protection i guess.
I suggest a Hyperion 6400mAh cell if you can handle the bulk. I have one and its amazing.
Here are the results as of now with this cell. Just took these shots.

Awesome to see it come out. Better late than never!
No mention of quick charge. I asked on Amazon. Pricey enough that I think I'll wait for reviews, even though I'm a fan of their products in general. It is nice to see something come out though.
It sure looks like they left an awful lot of void space under the case. If they'd made the battery part of the case they probably could have included more cells and had more capacity.
Too thick for not enough power in my book.

Much more reasonably priced. It was $54.99 when I looked before. Looks like they dropped it down. No Prime shipping, bummer. I can live with that though. No word on QC support.

I think they needed some void space under the case, to account for the curved back of the phone. I'm sure it's possible to build lipo cells with curves, but I doubt ZL makes their own cells and it would probably be cost prohibitive to have some special made for the Nexus curve.
If you ordered first thing in the morning it was listed at 59.95 on Amazon. I had to change my shipping address and stuff so I cancelled and reordered and noticed the price drop.
I got an email from them asking if I wanted to review one of them. Should have it soon.

- not enough juice factoring in the size of the case
had their case on my lg g3 with a whopping 9000mah, that was a beast. this here, not so much.
I wonder how thick it is. Sometimes the pictures make things look worse than they are. I'm curious to see the reviews, I know a few people here bought one.
I did get a reply that quick charge is not supported. Disappointing, as with a larger battery it's even more useful. If this were a 3x battery like the Note series was, it wouldn't matter much, I could get 12+ hours of screen on time with those things. But this isn't even 2x....

This.
ZeroLemon must have made the Nexus 6 an afterthought to start selling a case 11 months after the phone is released. Shame on them for putting Nexus users last on their to-do list.
I got mine today . I'm gonna post a initial thoughts review tomorrow, its charging now
I think it's awesome that they finally made a battery for the N6. I could deal with no wireless charging. I could also deal with no Turbo Charge. But having neither? I think that's the deal breaker.
I think I'll wait for the new N6 to be released. Maybe I'll get one of these on closeout for those rare long trips.
edit: I doubt it would even be useful on long trips. It's only 3500 mAh on a 6" phone. I might as well just take an external battery in a separate pocket.

here are some pics against my ballistic case. the case material feels hard and it concerns me about drops. reminds me of the cases used on my old note 2 with the zerolemon extended battery. i might just be biased to the beyond amazing job the rubber bouncy ball feeling of the ballistic case
edit: crap pics are to big
Looks pretty beefy. I hope it fits with my tempered glass screen protector (its the nillkin one with the black border). The case will be a great case for planned events that your going to be on the road a long time and want some extra juice and keep it in your pcoket. Its a shame its no quick charge capable. That would have been awesome.
it fits with my intelliarmor with no problems.
I have seen 3 battery case options. There is some cheap Chinese one all over Amazon and Ebay. It has different manufacture names but is completely the same.
The other 2 are the official one and the Mophie version. Is there anything in between? Not the cheap Chinese one for 25 or the expensive Mophie one for 100. Thanks
I have the official one - you can find them for under $60 on Ebay. It's great, no problems with it, does exactly what you'd want a battery case to do.

The wireless one? How much mAh does it lose during the charging, more or less than a wired one?
I received the mophie battery case about a week ago. With the case fully charged, and the phone also fully charged, I've gone exactly a full 48 hours without having to plug into a wall outlet (and there was still 10% left). It's a great battery case and well built. I do wish it was a bit thinner though, but I guess that's unrealistic since there needs to be a battery inside the case!
In terms of other options, Incipio has just released a battery case for the s7, and it's about 30 dollars cheaper than the mophie, but I don't think it has the wireless charging option like the mophie does. However, the Incipio has a significantly larger battery (3700mAh vs Mophie's 2950mAh). I'm contemplating whether to return the mophie and pick up the Incipio and save 30 dollars, since I don't have a wireless charger (I had ordered the mophie before Incipio has released their battery case).
Someone posted his thoughts on reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/GalaxyS7/comments/4eruno/two_days_with_the_galaxy_s7_backpack_battery_case/ and I bought it too, its fine. Expensive but its well built and does a good job. I don't trust any of the chinese mAh specs so I wouldn't compare them without a real review...
I just bought the Incipio for its large battery size and slimness compared to other cases. Wireless charging is not really important to me as much as making my phone last the day! It's on it's way, so I'll let you know if its terrible/awesome. As a side note, I got 15% off with a code from the website, making it less than $60 in total.
I just received the Incipio one yesterday so I could compare it with the Mophie and decide which to keep. while the Incipio is well built, I had issues with the fit. Firstly, it was pulling up my screen protector in some areas. Second, the top frame that clips into place would not fit properly once the phone was actually installed. I can take pictures of the case itself, but since I don't have another camera I can't take pictures of the fitting issues.
Considering all this, I'd go with the Mophie. Going to be returning the Incipio

I own and have used one of the "cheap" Chinese battery cases. Over an extended Memorial Day weekend it served me well. I don't know whether the claimed 4200 mAh is accurate. What I can say is that during a day of heavy use while away from a regular electric supply, I never was in danger of running short. Nor did it add an uncomfortable weight. While the more expensive, name-brand battery cases may bring something extra to the table, I expect that, for the most part, battery cases have become a commodity item. Indeed, I've come to the same view regarding wireless charging pads.
Any suggestions regarding slimmest? It seems the thinnest one comes in at around 0.69in with 4500mah. I just want 2000mah. Anyone know of the thinnest battery case on the market?
According to me Mophie battery case is the best one. The 3300mah battery case can provide 60% extra battery to your samsung galaxy s7 edge.
I bought 2 of these battery cases from AliExpress. Claimed Mah is 5200,however from they manage to charge my phone from 0-85% with light usage. Which i'm satisfied with. I would've thought 5200 would've charged my phone completely and then some but the manufacturers claim is that transfer loss accounts for the remaining 25-30%.
I'm not complaining because they do the job for just $20 apiece. Anyone familiar with batteries who could confirm that due to transfer loss while charging a 5000mah battery will only charge a 3600mah phone to less than 100%.??

sounds like too much of a loss IMO.
Personally when I had my zerolemon extended battery for the S4 it was perfect. They're a great company. The 7500MaH is available for the s7 and i dont doubt it will give you ALL of that extra power. They have great customer service and are always willing to help where needed.
Has anyone tried one for their S7 yet? it looks pretty massive but then for an extra day or two of life on it, i could deal with that
i had a zero lemon one for my s3 it was great thinking of getting one for my s7 now

ive got there 7500mah one for the s7 its sweet.
its now 20:40 and im on 100% battery and the case still has 3/4 bars charge left with heavy usage (you can turn the battery case on/off)
i cant post a screenshot of the battery life as the phone thinks its being charged from the genuine charger (it charges quick)

It's not what you buy its what you build
Side note, the zerolemon s7 case also fits my girlfriend's s6 edge perfectly.

Is there any good comparison of the Mophie, Incipio or Zerolemon. I'd love to see some?
I ordered a Zerolemon, have had them in the past and have been good. I'll report back when I receive it and use it for a few days. 7500 us a good bit extra, should last me at least 2 days maybe 3 through the work week.
