MIUI have this feature? I want that smartphone turn off wifi, networks and these stuffs at 11pm and turn it on at 7am. But only when the screen is locked.
I'm having 5% battery drain at night and I think it's just too much.

That is no way to cut the drain since the drain will be much more while using it. Find out what is draining the battery and control it.
However, if you have root, there is an app called LeanDroid on PlayStore which does what you want and much more.

Thanks, but I think you're not understanding.
There's no app or service draining the battery or abnormal battery drain. It's what we expect from a entire night with everything turned on.
What I want is automatically turn features off (something like airplane mode) when the time reach 11pm and these features turned on at 7am, time that I awake.
Probably the drain would be even lower than already it is.

Hi all,
Why does my battery drains faster? I checked the battery used and "Cell Standby is 70%" could this be the reason of it?
Currently using Custom Rom OptimusXrom v1.1..
Help please..
Download Spare Parts and monitor with that.
Hi badeaioan, I'll check it later.. Thanks!
still my battery drains faster, cell radio is almost 70%.. can somebody help me here?
Install Watchdog. That monitors your app's CPU usage and warns you if it goes above it's threshold.
Also, you can try wiping your battery stats.
already wiped the battery stats... nothings happens.. still the Cell Standby is 70%.. how about yours?
20%.
Do you have SetCPU installed? Try setting a profile that lowers your maximum frequency down to 245MHz when the screen is off.
EDIT: Also, you have to note that the battery info in the about menu is not live information. It updates slowly (once in a while).
yes i have installed SetCPU. I'll try to make a profile, and monitor it.. I'll post an update tom. Thanks.. I'm planning to try UbuntuDroid if this wont work.. I already tried, amber home, prime and currently using optimus x.
Cell standby is also at 75% for me and the battery has juice for 2 days. So don't worry about it.
All the p500 phones show that cell standby is the biggest conssumer (i know 4 guys with same phone). For example on a Galaxy S the screen eats all the battery.
I figured it out!
The battery usage info menu does will not show you whether your battery is draining faster or not.
Here's how it works:
Suppose I have 5 apps: a, b, c, d, and e. Let's say cell standy is app letter a. Overall, battery usage is 100%, right? Assuming everything consumes power at the same rate, app a gets 20%.
If you have cell standby consuming 70% power, everything else consumes 30% power.
Confirm this by visiting your battery info menu. Also, you only have a problem when what's consuming more is an unnecesary app. As for cell standby, I wouldn't worry about it.
Do you have a screenshot of yours?
No I don't have any screen shots, so you mean it's ok that my cell standby is 70% sometimes more... ? My officemate's Samsung galaxy s cell standby is something like 3% - 10%.. that's why I'm thinking that cell standby is the reason why my battery drains faster?
What apps do you have there by the way? I'm guessing there are a few, or many but using only about 1-3%
If you ask me, no. Out of the 100% battery use, cell standby is using 70% of that. 30% goes to everything else.
How you use that 100%, though, is a different story.
hmm.. I see... well I guess I'll try different rom... what rom are you using? I noticed, before I go to sleep, for example I check the battery 90-95% when I woke up and check it again, the battery goes down to 50%... I wonder why... standby.. and drains that fast?

Light. Wow, that's a huge difference Try another ROM. See if that solves the problem.
Yep, that's what I'm planning to do.. I hope it'll solve my problem.. hehehe I'm just waiting for my phone to finish charging.. I'll post an update tomorrow.. Thanks again kpbotbot.. how the rom you're using? how's the battery life?
Feels like the stock ROM (which is why I like it). The only difference is that stuff under the hood are tweaked, optimized, and the like. Plus the useless apps are removed. Battery life is... adequate I can go about a day and get about 60%. I don't know how long 100% will last since I always recharge.
PS - In case you're wondering why I reply so fast, it's because I have nothing to do at home since I was advised to rest for at least a month after release from the hospital xD
Try battery saving apps like juice defender.
Im using juice defender with ultimate juice and use its mobile data toggle widget to switch off my internet when I dnt use it..
hmmm..actually I was.. hahahaha.. now I know why you reply so fast.. Thanks dude.. get well soon..
40% it's a normal value?
I don't know why your battery drains so fast (50% over night is tooo much) but right now for example in "battery use" menu I have:
13h 50m since unplugged
Cell standby 78%
Android system 13%
Display 5%
Voice calls 4%
Android OS 2%
I think this is normal.
Normally overnight I lose 8-10% in battery power. However for the last 4nihhts I've lost 25-30%, looking at my stats the phone doesn't appear to be awake but all of a sudden it appears the drain increases
Please can someone advise
Thankd
if you switch off location and google search in location services you might get alot better battery life, it work for me, over night I would drop 10-20 % now its only 5%

but the drain increased , then slowed
but wasnt woken
My phone was 100%. I left it uncharged and went to sleep. The next day it is 61% left...
I see the battery stats and it was device idle eating up to 22%... What is wrong with it?
Are you on stock rom?
Try flashing another rom from android development topic. After backing up your original rom I really recommend flashing it.

I too have this...
I installed better battery stats and it shows wlan_rx_wakelock. This is wifi waking your phone. You can try a static IP address, this fixes the issue for some. Or change you wifi sleep policy to "never". Wifi will turn off when phone is sleeping ad will use data instead.
I'm trying to sort my issue too.

Static IP ? how ?
This looks familiar to my problem. For me this only happens on some WIFI-networks... The orange arrow is always on, or blinking very often. So it looks like something is downloading. I found out this data is being downloaded to Android OS (large Keep Wake Time)...

You say device idle is draining your battery but you are missing the elephant in the room, android os drained 36% of your battery, that means you have a wakelock problem.
Download betterbatterystats and check to see what is keeping your phone awake when it should be in deep sleep.
Device idle drain is normal when your device is idle.

For My S2 on JB leak I had the same issue with device idle taking a lot of battery. I frozen the Google Maps app via Titanium and everything was back to normal. Hope this will help.
Hi there I was checking my battery stats and I don't know if "idle device" should have that high percentage... any advice?

Well your phone has been on battery for quite some time, so it's normal that Android itself accumulated a lot of drainage. Note that it is not in absolute terms but comparatively; and compared to the phone running for 2 days that's ok.
Since Jelly Bean release ive noticed that the battery life hasnt really improved for me. Actually its gone to worse. Normally i dont use my tablet very active, so there were cases when i had 10 days between charges. No, even without using, the battery holds maximum of 4 days.
I dont have wifi lock, i have disabled backup, only have synchronisation of gmail and drive, but i had those on before aswell.
What i see in the battery graph is that even when wifi and display are off, something still wakes the tablet every 10-15 mins or so and drains the battery. In the stats it says that the "Standby mode" has the most usage...
Could anyone help me with some app to diagnose that problem or share similar expiriences..

I resolved my battery problems using Wakelock Detect:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.uzumapps.wakelockdetector&hl=en
You might want to give it a try. Turned out that some badly written application was holding wake lock on my XTS and thus jeopardizing the battery life. I also use Battery Monitor Widget:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ccc71.bmw
It won't tell you source of the problems but it will tell you how much battery is drained when your device was sleeping.

Btw. for WLD enable advanced mode from settings. It was system process which was holding wake lock and by default, WLD does not show system processes at all (!!!).
batery life always been awfull on XTS it was't bad but it could last easy 3 day's on single charge if sony optimise it.
my nexus 7 i can easy achieve 2 day's on single charge maybe 3 day's and it only has like 4200 mah batery with wifi actualy staying on always.
now in standby only drains like 1% batery per 3 hours
XTS always drained 2% per hour for me in standby

Wtf, that would drain the battery in two days?! Definetly some program has wake loke on your device. I havent done any measurements, but I think I've left my device on my table for week and read E-mails every now and then without any charge and it still has some juice left!

Actually on ICS i had one time when i had 18 days of standby and i used the tablet occasionally
Update on thread:
I found out Google Maps was waking the sysem every 10-15 minutes to look for a location, even tho GPS and Wifi were off. I disabled Latitude and automatic locking on location and also disabled every location option possible (use wifi to lock location etc.) and now its better..
Hi all, I want just to ask you if my battery drain is normal . I am on stock rooted odexed, stock kernel, s off. See the screen I did

Fast Battery Drain
Hi Frenix,
I also have an HTC ONE MAX. It's new and I've the same problem. IT'S NOT NORMAL FOR 3200mA!! See the screen I did, also if I don't use the phone, the battery drain very fast... (the first 7 hours the I didn't use the phone and it was in airplain mode). When I don't use it, the battery goes down very fast but when I use it, the battery works correctly!! This is Crazy!!! I've tried everything like charge cycles, disable all connections, reset the system to factory settings, and reset the statistics of the battery. It is definitely a sowftware problem, because if the battery is under stress, it works correctly! Consumption is given by 50% by phone on standby or idle and if the phone is also TURN COMPLETELY OFF, it drain faster than the phone turn on. I don't really what's the problem, but is not possible that a 3200mA battery drain in 1 day also if you don't use it. Do you report the same problem?

Looks to me like a wakelock issue. Some application is preventing the system from going into sleep mode. I'm working on the same issue.
When working properly, the phone should only ever be awake when the screen is on.
Use GSam Battery Monitor from the Playstore to see what is eating the battery and go from there. Depending on what ROM and if rooted or not, you can more than likely correct the issue.
calibration
i probed of calibrate the batery??
I'm running Nusense my wake lock was caused by Google Now (search). Try disabling it and see what happens. I used an app called wake lock detector.
