Hi, so I'm new with Android stuff, I would like help with something.
I've been playing Dragon City for quite a while, and I've tried to get some advantage in the game through GameGuardian by changing currency values in the game, but it does not seem to work with online-based games. So I thought of downloading a file explorer to see if I could edit files that are in the internal storage of my phone. I'm using ES File Explorer and I found something quite interesting.
When I go into the internal storage there's a folder with the name of the app which has more folders inside, there's one folder called "shared_prefs", inside there are a lot of xml files. One of this files is called "DragonCityPrefsFile.xml" which has written the data of the things I have in storage on the game. I thought that if I made some changes to this file then the game would give the new amount of things I wrote. I modified the values of the things I have but whenever I save the file and open the app again, the value changes to the original. So I assume since it's an online-based game this method won't work in any way even if I make a copy of the file, modify the values, and then replace the original file with the new one.
Here are some pictures if it helps to understand better what I'm trying to do here:

XML file:
Is there any way I can modify the prefsfile.xml and then somehow replace it in the app's game folder? So for example, download the .apk and with a program compile the app with the modified prefsfile. If anyone knows a method please let met know
The server checks for ALLL XML AND DB FILES for values and You won't be able to cheat it.Your only hope is to hack the server change values and wipe their backup Drives. Also change values of a couple of thousand of other players.NoSql based servers are hard ones but with given time and patience you can crack them from a VPS

Damn, that's unfortunate. Thanks for the help mate, I'll look up for some more info about the VPS cracking, sounds interesting.

Quick way of making your own
Quick way to make your own is to edit image without extracting the zip in linux or windows <<< i think
right click on zip
open
do not extract
open
when the window opens
double click on boot folder
then right click on image
open with gimp image editor
if you dont have gimp i really think you need it i love it lol
when window open with image
click edit then clear
then drag and drop the image you want there move center shrink or strech edit the image
click save
not save as but save
it will ask you to update zip
click update
done
rename it
This post is for people that dont have linux or gimp and want to give moboot some shine flash and go types lol
I screwed up. I downloaded the blue command jpeg copied it to /boot and renamed it to moboot.background.tga
Now TP won't boot. I can get to USB mode.
How can I put the proper moboot.background.tga that I have downloaded. Push it with adb?
Or,
I still have a backup of another moboot theme in that boot folder called moboot.background.bak. How can I deleted the current moboot.background.tga and rename the .bak to moboot.background.tga?
EDIT:
Using Webos doctor to repair and I'll be fine from there
Hey Guys,
I need some help finding a texture. I have been looking for it more than 5 weeks and I simply cant find it.
Take a look at those screenshots:

I am looking for the greyisch texture on the right part of the settings app. Since its being used in some 3rd party apps I thought it should be in the framework-res.apk and I changed a whole lot of images, but that texture never was found.
Since its not the first time I ask this question, just FYI of course i have the holo background themed and the dark dialog files too. My Power menu is black, but I just cant find it. I also talked to some themers over in the transformer forums, but sadly I couldnt get the answer I was longing for -.-
Here is my framework-res.apk
Framework-res.apk
Plz, if you can help me take a look at my apk and tell me what I am missing.
Thanks in advance

- Once you have all the files in the folder where your VDT-ROM then guided in part 1 Well has completed half. Now I just followed you make part 2 even more interesting, too.
- Download below to download this file unzip the folder I was first called META-INF then you copy all the files in the folder VDT-ROM into the folder where you unzipped as in the image below. Then select all the files that are compressed into zip has been one of the rom then.
- Depending on the individual machines that each file size, not machine as well as machine. The figure below illustrates just to let you do such machines is to visualize the files in the file stepfather. META-INF folder is also required. I wish you success.

Hi,
I've been perusing the system and I have a file in /system/etc called thermald.conf
This is supposed to be used to configure the thermal throttling properties.
On my device it's a broken symbolic link to a file thermald-9874.conf that does not exist.
So if someone has a file that is *NOT* a broken symbolic link I'd like a copy.
I'm trying to play with the throttling on the device and I want to see what a valid one of those looks like.

I get the same broken symbolic link. Aside from rooting, I have not altered the system partition of my phone so it's safe to say it's broken on at least all verizon variants.

I can open thermald-9874 but that's of no help here huh?
Can't seem to move either using ES. Any other ideas?

Okay, so it's not just me.
They don't use the file.
I actually figured it out.
There is another file that's used and I edited that and use ROM Toolbox to set the governer and I/O scheduler.
No aggressive throttling anymore.
Hi, there.
The reason I make this thread is just want to share some tips to export your Kernel Adiutor profile settings to make it as a script running via init.d on your device and also as a backup for reasons. Since I'm having some trouble with Kernel Adiutor such as fail to apply on boot on restart, reseting all of my tweaks for no reason after restart, switching from different ROMs, etc. that really grind my gears.
NOTE : I prefer doing this work on PC and using Notepad++ or other text editor since its more easier.
1. Make sure your device is already have working init.d
2. Open your Kernel Adiutor, make some tweaks and save it as a profile in Hamburger Menu - Profile
3. Go to /data/data/com.grarak.kerneladiutor/files/ and copy profiles.json to somewhere else
4. Open profiles.json in Text Editor and copy all of its contents to clipboard
5. Go to https://www.browserling.com/tools/json-to-text to convert .json to txt, just paste it on the text box provided and click convert!.
6. Copy the text inside the text box and create a new files, paste onto it.
7. From this point we will edit the lines and remove unused lines so pay attention to avoid deleting the useful one
8. As you can see there are lines begins with "command" and "path", delete all the lines that start with the "path".
9. After you done with that, next is ONLY delete the words "command" from all lines. you will see fewer lines of codes after all this step. Then don't forget to save it as file without extension ex. : 69mykernelsettings
10. If you want to make sure you did copy the correct code, just do quick cross-check from Kernel Adiutor - Profile and see Information and compare it to the profile you use with the file we just made.
11. Last step copy your file to /etc/init.d/ , dont forget to give it permissions rwxr-xr-x (0755) or it wont executed on boot.
Here are some screenshot example from my profile :

Maybe this method is so convensional and too much hassle but it works for me and if you have a better method feel free to share in this thread and give some feedback
Very helpful bro, thanks
Gonna do this
