Hi mate,
As long as I know, there's no update released yet for KIW-L23. but may b there will b at the end of October.
Updating to another variant firmware isn't impossible, but is quite difficult. & has risks.
Search @clsA s thread for firmwares or threads by @yuweng for firmware tinkering.
It is advised to search the forum first.

Im too Having KIW-L23. No firmwares were released and no update is available yet.
I do check huawei site everyday, so far nothing for your model
On contacting Honor Global - I got a reply like this while querying for KIW-L23 update.

I had that error the first couple of times I tried to get it. Just try and try again. Make sure to try both of your IMEIs.

Hello i am using the Chinese variant of H7 PLK-ULOOC17B190. Its been almost two years and still no MM update. I cant root because i cannot unlock bootloader due to 14 days error on huawei site. Can someone please guide me how to update or if it is even possible to update. Thank you.

If there is no official update , u can't install or find a firmware which matches for our device . and the 14 days deadline , try to get an unlock code directly from vmall

Is there any way i can update then. Its awfully bad that Huawei has no support for their phones.
And btw this is the chinese variant. I don't get how to vmall may help me get the code.

Well i did recieve the B190 update. But nothing ever since. I mean it really is a great phone but i guess that is why you buy high priced from google ,samsung etc.

You may want to check CM13 for Honor 7.
Hi
Latest lollipop ROM for that model is B211.
You can download it from here:

There are two files there, one is B211 Stable ROM, and the other is Beta ROM 5.12.16.
You will have to update using three button method, and it will completely erase your data (BACKUP FIRST!)
After that, you can request update on HiCare app, or wait a few days, you will get B380 MM update, then probably B383.
You can also try Beta ROM, which works fine and it gets 2 updates per month. It's also on MM.

Brother like i said before that i cannot unlock bootloader due to the 14 days error. I always get that when i am requesting for the unlock code at huawei site.
Received new update.. I hope that now volte is available for custom roms??

Its just small ota on over B370.. Its b370 tp b381 update.. Some security patches wd huawei id n hi cloud.. Nothing much

Possibly with HCU-client. Depends on if your firmware is patched or not.
Only way to find out is to use HCU... It cost $4 for bootloader code.

DC-unlocker works if you're on BLA-xxx C432 B142 or lower
i'm on 8.0.0.132(C782) C782 is a different region code
all mate 10 pro's purchased unlocked from carphone warehouse in the uk have this region code
the main region code for unlocked phones in europe is c432(as far as i can tell)

HCU/DC says it doesn't work any firmware on Oreo, but I can confirm it is working on B142.

Are you using HCU-client?
DC-unlocker doesn't work afaik. HCU-client is made by DC.
When firmware is patched HCU just says Unsupported model/chip

If it's on B142 yes, if B145 you can downgrade to B142. If B146+ you can't do anything because of updated bootloader that prevents downgrade to B145 or lower.
This assumes the shop hasn't updated it of course.

That I don't know. You can see if you find your firmware on androidhost.ru as that's where you find DLOAD firmware.

I did the rebrand of my Mate ALP-L29C636 for the L00C00 version. Due to some problems I had with the Chinese ROM I want to do the debrand. The bootloader is unlocked and I have the original oeminfo file. As I am in the latest version of EMUI 8.1 (xloader 02), do you think it is possible to do debrand using HWOTA? I appreciate if you can help me.

Hi guys, I can't update to MIUI 14 for some reason, so I updated my phone to 13.0.13.0 SLFEUXM via update from package on the phone a while ago and when I try to update with same method on the newest MIUI14 for this region it just does not work, I've attached a picture from some site where people are having the same issue. What should I do? Should I unlock the phone and install with fastboot or?

Yep,wait for what is offered (sometimes it never happens).
I thought that I simply had not received the update.
I give up; I gave Xiaomi a chance to buy this phone, and it can't be until the Poco X3 Pro has already received the update.
