Hi, may I ask about the model and model year of your car?:困惑:

Opel Astra K / MY 2017 / Intellilink 900
Gesendet von meinem LYA-L29 mit Tapatalk

I get the same issue. 2017 plate Honda Civic RS. I have to switch of bluetooth then back on all the time. I rang Huawei but they aren't aware of the issue

Same problem with Bluetooth Audio in my car - Range Rover.
I have logged a call but Huawei does not respond. I was once in a chat session and they said I must go into developer mode and set the Bluetooth settings in there. I went to developer mode, but all Bluetooth settings are grayed out and can not be edited.
Did 2 resets on the phone with no success.

I'm in the same boat. Terrible quality with calls in the car, sometimes even disconnects and re-connects. I've tried everything, even ordered a second one, no success. Any luck from anyone fixing this issue?

Which model was your car in?

I also had bluetooth issues in the car. Music stuttered while playing over car stereo. All problems disappeared after updating to .187. If you don't have this firmware version yet: maybe wait till you do. Otherwise I would try a factory reset.

95% of all car radios oem or under $350 aftermarket only use SBC to stream music. It's legit crap as it maxed out at 128kbps. Nothin you can do either. Better radio will add aac or aptx.

Yeah, I don't want to put an aftermarket radio in this truck. I have researched that and it tears up my truck dash.
It is nice to know that after the .187 update it resolved previous poster's problems. Hopefully that comes soon for me.

Same issue here - On 9.0.0.187
Volkswagen Golf 7 2016
Voice sounds like its lagging and like metallic treble
Also i notice with Spotify will streaming music that the display unit is out of sync with what i am listening
It shows the title of the previous song that i have listen not the current one
Its like it cannot sync correctly

found a fix for this
hey guys, so went into FunkyHuawei and flashed the latest .210 update and it fixed it. Crystal clear.

Interesting. I don't have a Bluetooth stereo in my RX8 but use a Connects2 Bluetooth adapter. The audio is clear with no dropouts or any noticeable degradation apart from the obvious compared to CD
I could guess it would have something to do with the Bluetooth version

Car radio needed with proper Razr BT support

Currently I have an Alpine CD-105 with the KCE-400BT add-on BT adapter. It has two issues: One it won't auto connect after the initial pairing. I can stop and get gas, get back in, and if I try and dial from the radio I get "NO UNIT". This completely DEFEATS the purpose of having BT in the car. It's a shame, because if it's actually paired it works very well. TWO, it won't display any audio track info when streaming music.
So my actual question is: Does anyone know of a SINGLE DIN, CD PLAYER with BLUETOOTH that does not have these issues with a Droid Razr? I'm about to give the JVC Arsenal KD-A925BT a try unless someone has other advice...
I have had good autoconnection success with radios from Dual. Obviously, not as high end as Alpine, or even JVC, but good features for the price.
Not sure about the display of streaming audio info. I have the Razr car dock, so I control audio from there and only use my radio for output, not control.
I have used both Pioneer and (currently) JVC with no Android problems. My JVC isn't an Arsenal line and works well. It's a KD-R900.
Does it display track info?
I use an IO Play which has its own built in amp and bypasses the car radio but uses the speakers. It works really well with my Razr but does not have a screen to display the track info

I haven't tried the stock music player app with it. Pandora, Slacker, and Last.fm don't. Google Music does, however.
I'll second the "dual" branded units. Had a 300 dollar pioneer in my plow truck. Water intrusion killed it, so I got the 90 dollar walmart dual model, XDMA6630 I think it was....anyhow, it's been kicking for two years now and seems to run perfectly with several android phones I've used.
Yes, they're cheap. It might be worth noting that their tech support is US based though, and actually quite knowledgeable.
I have a Kenwood 8019 with a few days bluetooth module that is 5 years old and it pairs perfectly with any phone I've had.. RAZR works like a charm.

Thanks,
Does your Kenwood stream audio? If so does it display song info properly?
From the looks of it, Alpine revealed some new headunits and CES last week. They seem to be making a point to mention "Android Support" with improved BT features. So I may end up getting the CDA-HD138BT when it hits the stores. Otherwise it looks like JVC or Kenwood from the responses.
I also had problems with my alpine, sold it. Currently have a Kenwood Excelon X-993 which is a single din, relatively high end unit. I think I paid $440 for it almost 3 years ago. works perfect
---------- Post added at 08:53 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:34 AM ----------
I also meant to tell you that the Kenwood Excelon X-993 has excellent BT audio support, which is my primary use. Much better than my Alpine I dont know if you would have a use for it, but it has 2-5volt preamp out's, 1-5volt sub preamp out, as well as aux or dvd output , or if you buy a $20 adapter, can convert that dvd output into a 3rd 5volt preamp out. I know I need to learn how to post in the right place

Does your BT adapter require its own always-on power connection? To keep pairings in its memory.
It doesn't lose the pairing itself. It just doesn't re-pair properly. In fact the phone will say it's paired but you won't be able to initiate a call from the radio.
Its probably not the answer you want to hear..... but, ford/Microsoft sync does a good job of bt.

Razr and car audio
My car has a Kenwood DNX-9960 and the Razr works very well with it. The radio can even read aloud the Razr's SMS messages.
Before that I had another Kenwood (DNX-7100) with the BT-200 Bluetooth module. Also worked great.
Bought the Pioneer AVH-P4400BH http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/DVD-Receivers/AVH-P4400BH I love it! It plays music, and shows the song information on the screen. You can download your contacts to the radio, and it works flawlessly with my Razr. You can get it for $499 plus install.

[Q] Issues with contacts showing up in Audi or any car in general?

Long story short: I have a 2013 S5. My phone pairs with my car but the contacts(phonebook) wont show up in the car. I can make and receive calls and the bluetooth audio works. My old EVO LTE worked with no problem. Just wondering if you guys had issues getting your phonebook to show up in the car?
Thanks, Danny
EDIT: I should mention that I have the AT&T version in the US.

Mine connects to my 2012 VW Passat fine and contacts download fine to the car phonebook. I'll caveat that and say that I replaced my factory stereo with a Kenwood DNX7190HD system. My problem and several others is that music from my phone to the car sounds great, but phone calls...not so much. It would be interesting to hear from you what your phone call quality is like on your car bluetooth. Here is the thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2001204
No issues or problems. I would say its something you need to check with your vehicles manual.

Switched from a note 3 which connected to my car without a problem. However this phone keeps disconnecting and whenever it does connect the sound is horrible. First the volume is low and sounds all mufflled . anyone else have this issue?

Does not work at all with Cadillac CUE (for media, calls are fine). I've tried the tricks (turn off media audio in bluetooth settings after connect, etc.) that worked with G4 to no avail...
I have a pioneer x5700 and have pandora going through bluetooth and sounds good. Not HD but not crappy radio. And much better than my Note 4. And I haven't had any signal loss.
What system are you linking it to?
Have similar problem and it is my first significant concern about the otherwise thrilling upgrade to V10.
I have Audi Q5 2012 and the previous phone, Motorola Droid MAXX sounded great. This V10 is just as you put it, horrible... Static, low volume, and dropped tiny fragments of sounds, as if I'm making an international call (they used to sound bad).
Puzzled and concerned... Cannot think of a reason yet but unsure if I should put up with it for 2 years under contract...

Any BT will always have delay. The V10 is the best BT device I've ever used. Hitting the track change is almost instant (Google Play on SD card) whereas on any other phone I've had was always slow (ESPECIALLY Samsung... despite their internal-only storage now). Audio quality is fine as it should be. By far though, the most pleasurable device to use in my car.
2015 SRT Charger.
I have a 2014 Kenwood excelon nav unit, and my V10 will pair, but flashes on and off repeatedly.
I also can't get the Bluetooth to pair my vehicle ECM to the phone through my bluetooth OBD transmitter. Basically renders Torque app useles
On the issue of call sound call quality, I improved the sound by unclicking "noise supression" and clicking "voice clarity". Otherwise it was really bad. I think it has to do with my vehicle already having noise suppression.

Can't wait to test it and report back.
One thing you made me research and I think is worth clarifying is that those two settings can be found from a call log, then menu (three dots in UR corner), then Call Settings.

Bluetooth issue?

Quick question: is anyone having issues with Bluetooth stopping every so often while playing music? It does it on my Klipsch earphones & in my car (my only Bluetooth listening so far). What I've noticed is that it interrupts the music because it thinks it's in a call. If I press the button on my earphones that would end a call (or likewise in my car), the music starts right back up. It seems like an odd bug. Any thoughts?
Haven't seen anything wrong. I don't want to jinx myself but so far, it's actually working much better than my V20 was. Every day I'd have to turn my BT off and back on before starting my car or it might not connect the audio properly. Then, about once a week, a complete restart was needed. Haven't had to do either with the V30 yet.
V30 Bluetooth issues
I've had multiple issues with Bluetooth connectivity for a few of my devices come up recently.
For example, I'm getting delays in receiving notifications for both my smart watches, even though only one of them is active at any given time.
My Snap Spectacles was paid, but suddenly stopped transferring videos to the V30. I paired the glasses to my iPad, and videos transferred seamlessly.
The notification for WiFi Direct keeps popping up abet few minutes. Says something about running Bluetooth, wifi, and wifi direct at the same time can cause issues. Sadly, I couldn't find a toggle to turn wifi direct off. Even when I turn regular wifi off, it turns back on.
I have no issues with BT ... but, the sound issue is likely notifications.
Yup...Bluetooth Issues Here
So I finally have the LG V30. Generally a great phone. But I too have bluetooth issues. I hear static on calls made over bluetooth. Two phones, same issue. My G6 did not have this problem. When I (briefly) had the GS8 and Note8 this was not a problem. The funny thing is, when the phone is in my pocket with the screen off, there is no static. When I remove the phone from my pocket and wake the screen, the static returns. The bluetooth works fine for my podcasts and music. Weird. But reproducible. I use the BT in my car a lot (yes, I actually make phone calls on my phone )
So I was wondering if others have had any bluetooth issues.

Weird indeed. No problems here. I'm paired to a 2013 Audi, a 2013 Ford, and a 2017 Chevy, not to mention an older Plantronics earpiece. No problems -- all my calls sound normal, or even crystal clear in Verizon HD.
This is with screen on with Waze, Pandora, even Android Auto running.

I did this on my first V30. A factory data reset did not resolve the problem. I am not sure if a reset will help with this one either. But I will give it another try.
I am having similar issues with the Bluetooth on the LG V30. When the phone is too close to the built in navigation screen/Radio in my vehicle, I am getting a lot of static. Only when making/receiving phone calls. When I move the phone 1 foot or more away from the center counsel of the dashboard the static goes away.
Went to the TMobile store where I bought the phone. They produced another LG V30 and connected to my vehicle's bluetooth. Same issue.
No issues when connected to music players.
Quite frustrating as I really like the phone.
I'm having BT problems. Calling is pretty much useless in my car (2015 Subaru), but music works reasonably well.
I'm getting continuous toast notifications about the phone connecting/disconnecting every 30 seconds or so, no matter what device. Very, very frustrating.

Same issue. My S6 never had an issue, however my new LG v30 sounds crystal clear when streaming audio but when I connect to a call, the call is distorted, broken, and static filled. I tried force stopping and clear data & caches of both bluetooth services, but nothing worked.
I also have a 2014 Subaru Outback with the stock radio.
My car is also a subaru (2012 Legacy). Issue is static in calls, however.
I have no problems with BT on my JBL headphones or my 2014 Ford Focus bluetooth but with my motorcycle bluetooth comm (Scala Freerider 1) I get playback of audio at like 75% speed with a lot of crackling and popping. No BT issues on the motorcycle comm with my Pixel C or S8.
I have the same issue. When I connect with my Bluetooth on my car the music plays but it randomly stops in the middle of the song, then starts again. It's like it loses the connection then gets it back right away. Doesn't seem to do it when I use the headphone jack.
In my case something different has happened.
The audio quality for connection inside the car gives a lot to be desired compared to the Galaxy S8 plus. I listen to the music as if it were with some bad quality or grit.
If the bluetooth has apt-x quality, it seems to me that my terminal does not hear how well this compression codec contributes, which theoretically transmits more audio data than bluetooth without apt-x.
Is there someone else who has the same thing?

Guys I'm new to the v30 I came from g4, my issue is that in my yaris 2014 I've connected the v30 but it doesn't recognize the phone, but it pairs as "unregistered" even I've tried to pair it with passcode but the phone just connects, and doesn't ask for any passcode after it connects I can play music but when I turned the car off and then on again v30 doesn't connect back, I have to unpair the car audio system to pair it again with the same problem of the unregistered device thing...
Edit:
Guys I just fix my problem downloading an app from the store that connects the Bluetooth to my car sistem, it recognizes it and connects automatically now, what I believe it is a problem with Bluetooth app from the phone itself

Music through Bluetooth sounds terrible

Hey guys. I have a 2017 Subaru wrx. When I connect my v 30 over Bluetooth to listen to my music it sounds tinny and metallic. I'm using Google music to stream music. I never had issues with music over Bluetooth with my previous phones. Any help is greatly appreciated!

What head unit? I have the non navigation unit in mine. Wondering if it'll sound the same.
No issues streaming over to my car, Mazda 3 here. Not sure what to tell you as it's just a digital stream of data between your phone and car. All of the unpackaging is done on the car's side of things. The phone is using the newer BT 5 which allows it to put out a lot more data, so I don't see that being a problem. Check your streaming quality settings in Google Music and if that's set as high as it can go, check to see if maybe your car's system needs an update.

I have problems with podcasts, but music comes through beautifully.
Are you streaming files from the phone or streaming from your own music or listening to streaming stations? If streaming, you can try adjusting the quality settings in google play music.
No issues here with my Hyundai Sonata w/ Infinity headunit. I use standard BT (44 KHz) and Android Auto (48 KHz) and actually find the quality to be improved from my past 3 phones (V20, S8+, Note8).
I get popping and crackling streaming to isimple connect.
Music and podcasts were fine for me. Call were terrible. Lots of static on calls. I has this issue with two V30s. I had to return the phone and go with the GS8+.
coming from my moto pure, which was terrible on the bluetooth with my 2013 tacoma (HU is from a 2015 Tacoma) i had decent sound but it would drop out all the time, this phone is a dramatic improvement. there are more features in play, and the sound quality is as good as can be expected for streaming audio on a stock unit and speakers.
I was just coming in to say the same. Even from my V20, going through a cheap walmart BT - FM Transmitter, the sound is richer on the V30 than it was before, and less static between the devices.
Check your quality settings in Google

Have you tried changing the quality on mobile network settings in Google Play Music? Could be a case the source is low quality causing your distortion.
I've tried changing the quality and there's no difference.
I'm currently struggling with static over Bluetooth in my WRX. This morning I actually did a factory reset on the stereo. I couldn't tell as I was kinda in a hurry to test it too much. I will find out here in about 1.5hrs though.

Do you have Android Auto as an option? I've found BT streaming to be more stable when I use AA in my car. It streams at 48Hz instead of 44Hz.
That being said, I don't have quality issues either way. Just the occasional blip in streaming that lasts less than a second.

I will test tomorrow in my car where I stream over my audio system using a Audioengine B1. So far I tested BT today using my BT headphones and they definitely sound a little different. I think they sound cleaner and very good though. This is compared to my Moto X Pure 2015, which seemed to sound very good also. The overall volume was a little lower than my previous phone but with the vol all the way up it was perfect for me to enjoy and overcome the sound of my lawnmower while cutting the lawn today
So no issues so far.
no problem at all on my jeep with Uconnect
Tested today in my car using my Audioengine B1 (stereo) and car BT (cell), sounds awesome!!
Plus found out since its a metal back plate it sticks to the dash magnet thingy I have vs using the metal plate inside of a case!!
SO far loving this phone.
Nothing useful to add at the moment beyond noting that my 2017 Subaru (BRZ) has the same issue. It appears it may be something unique to the pairing of a Subaru HU and the V30, or possibly just LG. My Sony Z5 works just fine with the stock HU, and the V30 works fine with a very cheap 1DIN HU I have around... I've reached out to Subaru but don't expect anything but finger pointing.
I'll instead likely be changing the HU to something that does Android Auto or even mirror-link... if only it were easy to make any sense of the Android HU offerings! I admit I'd sort-of like to keep the reverse camera and the steering wheel controls. I guess it wasn't worth saving the $800 on the 2017 after all (with 2018 now available for order with a price increase...) - then again, I may like whatever I install better.
I just wanted to add what I found since seems a lot of issues are from scoobies. I have an 2011 Forester XT stock non-nav HU. HU will never auto connect like it did with my HTC 10. But I found out that if I connect it through the HU works like a charm everytime. Before I was going to BT setting on the LGV30 and connecting it that way. And sometimes it would connect and if it did was really spotty, sound would stutter all the time. Drive me nuts. Now with connecting first through the HU works like a charm all the time, and just sometimes their is stutter. For my HU i've attached a pic of where the setting would be. and for me would be to click on "select audio player" and the click V30 and all is heaven.
Hope that helps some fellow scoobies.
