Which Custom Rom Best for PUBG ? Low Touch Latency ?
Its on the firmware, so you can install whatever ROM you want and the issue will be there. Wait for official update. There's no workaround right now.

OMG is that true ???
try use latest xiaomi.eu rom + extremekernel 70hz ver.. it help me "improve" the touch when playing pubg. hope it help u too.
it's up to kernel.... not rom.
extreme kernel 3.1 70hz(or 65) and sphinx kernel 1.8.7 both are good.
Try NOS+Sphinx (v1.8.7)
latest beta of miui has nearly fixed the touch issues. Wait a bit more.
Is the issues hit both 6/64 and 6/128 version?
Any lemme ask, is that really bothering u the screen latency or what so ever it's called?, well imma gamers but, i asking first before buy it. Thanks

pubg does require precision and quick respond touch to play in order to have non frustated moment.. any fps game on mobile applies the sames rules.. but on other genre such as rpg may not affect as much.. xiaomi say it can be fix via os update but this is common on ips panel. sofware may improve it little bit more or less.. but on this price tag and the very community driven 3rd party os and kernel growth, its worth ur every penny.. more than worthy i say..
I am on 10.0.6.0 Global Stable and touch is much better than 10.0.4.0.

Nope. No other pure android rom can offer such a great SOT times as miui. On RR im getting around 6-7h SOT without using 4g.

after posting this i tried to set both CPU & GPU governors to powersave and it worked too good! it has no lag or a little in normal tasks and battery use is so awesome! it remained on 100% so long that i thought it is a bug! i just change kernel auditors profile when i want to play or do some thing heavy!
but i am still looking for the best battery friendly rom (after MIUI)!

you have to do it using "kernel Auditor" app and your phone has to be rooted! in my vase i flashed Santhosh's CM13, GApps & SuperSU Zip to easily root my phone!
you dont need a custom kernel! although custom kernels have more CPU & GPU governors!

Did not find any bugs but I am not a heavy or experienced user. Something I cannot control: Led Light colour
Also does not support the kernel denominator or radon (installed but I could pass through the lock screen).
I installed it, being in Miui8, unlocked (officially) bootloader.

Well yes, setting powersaving CPU governor is an option, but for me it resulted in many laggs (I'm a heavy user).
Btw. this 100% happens often. But it only applies to 100% charge, after that it will drop normally.

I just found this build, and i would love to use it as a daily driver. Could you give us any more feedback?
Like memory management, does it kill apps in the background often?
Or if you play Pokemon how does it perform?
Finally, is the daily use sluggish, any crashes/reboots?, does it feel smooth/ok to use everyday?
thanks a lot !

I dont really have time to try each rom which is the best, so I need your experience guys about which ROM that have the most stability and performance for gaming?
I dont need features, beautify the UI or etc.
All I care is super slim, simple, stability and performance.
I think this question will be frequently asked with Mido user who bought this phone because of its performance for gaming. We all know this is the most budget phone but very good performance both cpu and graphics.
And if anyone using tweaks like Ultimate Performance, Govtuner, or L Speed or even GLtools to improve the performance. Tell us here.
Thank you.

I have the 6, 64gb variant of the poco f1. Earlier It was running pubg buttery smooth on smooth and extreme settings, but now it lags a lot.
It is not unplayable but it bothers me because i've seen how good this device can perform and now this lag.
Is anybody else facing the same issue?
Can this issue be resolved?
I've tried uninstalling the app, didn't work.

Yes mate happening in my poco 6/64 variant too
Most likely thermal throttling
Have you tried using the gfxtool app to adjust the graphics settings, playing for longer periods will lead to thermal throttling as mentioned previously. Lowering the graphics settings even slightly and disabling shadows etc. Will help to decrease the load on the processor and thus keep the fps stable. Kill all running background applications before launching gfxtool/pubg. Also make sure to remove any protective case whilst playing to help keep the phone cool and most importantly give your phone a break every now in awhile after all it is just that.... a phone.
Hi Bro, you should unlock bootloader => install TWRP => install custom roms to use (pixel, Lineageos, EU rom)
I fell so good and improve so clearly if we use custom roms (I think pixel experience is the best)
It is the thermal throttling.
You have to unlock your phone to get a workaround.

I am on beta rom miui 10 9.3.28, one thing is for sure the framedrops are because of thermal throttling, when my phone is cool and i start playing the game for the first 15 minutes or so it runs super smooth, after that the framedrops starts, it is very annoying, i have tried everything from gfx tool , removing phone case, not charging while playing. I haven't played around with the thermal configs yet someone posted here on xda, i have bought this phone only for pubg, Does someone have the perfect work around for the issue? Pubg is laging in all phones not only in poco F1 it's pubg server issue change the server in pubg and have a try... I too faced but now I am playing pubg butter smooth
I have been facing lag on PUBG mainly while driving a vehicle. I thought it was happening due to using miui beta (open) rom. But I see even stable users and custom rom users are also facing occasional lags. Infact I was going through reddit and I saw people using Galaxy S10/ OnePlus 6T complaining the same. So I think there must be something wrong with the game only.

Everyone thinks the same way buddy. We think other devices run the game without lag. Other device users think our device runs the game without lag. The main problem is, PUBG is still not well optimised for smartphones (atleast for Android).

No, don't even bother on custom ROM as its will give you more problems dan solutions. i'm using stable 10.3.4.0 too (4k 60fps with built-in camera app ftw) with extreme kernel and it works seamlessly. if you're not a hardcore gamer and concerning more to longevity of the phone try franco kernel instead (bc extreme kernel will overclock everything). FK will underclock your CPU and optimize some other settings to make your phone running 'enough' power with minimal battery drain.

Using multitouch test app, if i try to touching the same spot repeatedly it's only detects like only 7/10 touches. But when playing games or typing there's no missing touch though. For ghost touch, i don't encounter any.

This is the kinda person who start talking rubbish, mocking other's opinion, start a fight in a peacefully thread and thinking they are know abt everything. Custom ROM is just a skin that do a little to none modification to system, and kernel will have more control than custom ROM bcs kernel IS the main driver for the hardware. So if you're pointing out that he just need to test it via software perspective, then flash a custom kernel and he will know if the issue is on the hardware level or just need an updated/modded driver/software. Stop treating others like that, start a debate with manners, smart guy.
Should i sell this phone and buy Samsung? I bought this phone for gaming. I can't play any game because touch issue.
I sell this phone today because bad display. I will use Android emulator for PC.
I had Ghost Touch problem on my Xiaomi mi9 in Call of Duty Mobile and PubG.
This is the only solution which fixed my problem:
xiaomi.eu/community/threads/xiaomi-mi-9-ghost-touch-issue.51043/#post-503263
1. Open settings
2. Activate developer options (My device > Tap 8 times on "MIUI-Version")
3. Settings > Additional Settings
4. Developer options
5. Disable MIUI-Optimizations (at the very bottom).
6. Reboot
