unfortunately no beta for europe i guess.
Normally 2 things happen with Beta's ....
1 - you install it .
2 - after a day or so you say why the hell did i install this crap as it constantly crashes

What model do you have as not all of them are eligible.
if am right h9 will be asia only beta at first in the second phase but your talking mid next year if the beta goes without any bugs and problems

No it is the 7.9 and date will about end of June ? Yes the 8.1 is due out soon too.
The guy told me about the 7.8 before it came out and i was one of the few in Europe to get a official upgrade to 7.8 first and i uploaded pics on Flickr.

First public WP7.8 for Lumia here at xda appeared on May 15th, 2012. And this 7.8 (as a system part) was the official MS Canonical update. So you were pretty fast with your care centre .
It seems as though the new download is available. I only have access to my phone so can't be 100% certain, if anyone else wants to check it would be appreciated.

It's just a placeholder on their website, I went ahead and clicked it and it wasn't a download link.
Like I said in my edit of above post I'm sorry if I got anyone's hopes up.

It is almost noon China Standard Time (they only have one time zone for the whole country) so I guess they have twelve hours to still meet their release date.

I came on looking for just this topic. I have the snapdragon version, and while it may have been late in the month, this is the first time they actually have missed a monthly update for me.. Maybe our version is down the pipe soon hopefully..

yes the unlocked devices have it even in canada, and its pure lame why suddenly the april for snapdragon in the USA is VERY LATE. don't waste time calling samsung, they will say something like , it looks like you got the patch, is that why you are asking.

So I just got a message that a new update is available, I'm not on WiFi right now, so I won't download it till I get home. Is there any big changes on this firmware? Great hardware needs great software. Hopefully this addresses some issues.

No problems at all with this. Simply set region to Italy before searching the update, after the update set the region back to yours.

No benefits at all besides getting OTAs earlier in case of a staged rollout.

Yep that's where I got mine from. There was a bit of a delay initially on shipping. Took about 5 days before they actually shipped it. Otherwise it was great. Great communication from their customer service and all. I got the phone in 3 days after it actually was shipped out. Paid about 18 bucks for fastest shipping option
