Yes. But it can be used instead of the local installation version.

Search Busybox in Magisk. Install him.
Please check Quick Charge. It's not going over 2 amps. After uninstalling your mod it's charging on 3 amps.

Hello, i flashed this kernel this morning and out of the sudden when going to Google now my phone soft rebooted.
I think I pulled the logs for the crash but I'm not sure because it's my first time doing it.
I am running the latest CM 12.1 bud, with the kernel governor set to performance clocked at 1.2 GHz - 200 MHz and with the cfq io.
Here's a link to the logs, if it's not what I think, please do let me know, so I can do it right next time.

Crash Dialer
Thanks for this kernel, DT2W works well and everything is smooth, but I had to restore my backup because during a conversation, the call is automatically closed. I realized that after a few seconds of conversation Dialer goes crash, this does not happen with the kernel of the rom resurrection. XT1524

This is very stable.
But there is no "IntelliPlug CPU hotplug (by faux123)" : have you planned to add this to this kernel ?
At first it seemed stable.. Everything worked.. Then since this morning There have been a lot of screen freezes.. Even the power button can't turn on the screen sometimes.. Touch screen stops working .. [emoji29]

I'm using the latest Pac ROM.. It was coupled with squid kernel before I flashed fenomenal.. If that makes any difference
I tested on Mokee and i had the same results of @rushabshah32 . Maybe the kernel it's cm12.1 exclusive... but it was: Screen gets dark, doesn't wake up, and the touch screen doesn't work sometimes, i restarted and it didn't work still, thanks for porting the kernel to surnia

Well actually I experienced the same issues has you guys, having to force shutdown my phone like 5 times throughout the day, and I'm running the latest cm build

No, dear mate, according to the OP: is only compatible with Nougat.
Pie ROMs have a better kernel implemented and it is Not neccesary to install another. Also, if you want to report a bug (for example in AOSPExt Pie ROM) you will be rejected because you are using other Kernel than the default (better) of the ROM

Still can't find though about nougat but yeah you are right as it wasn't been developed for oreo yet, so definitely not for pie.
I agree pie roms comes with better kernel, but it's just they don't provide hotplugs and some more features like dtw etc. that's why I was looking for a custom kernel.

Q : Will the kernel boot with pie roms??
A : Yes. Although some reported problems booting with oos. Anyway, I will recommend giving it a try.

I didn't test them and do not have interest in doing such work.
FYI the device is running an unofficial LineageOS build with the device tree from TH779, who also maintains lmi for Mokee and ArrowOS.

Hey bro, check out Zeetaa's Nexus Kernel for POCO F2 Pro, it works on miui and they just released an update!
(It is still beta though, some sensors may not work as intended.)
