My mistake... The title should be for Pace and not for Bip. Is there any english custom ROM with feature the control mi devices?

I use stock, so I cannot tell you for sure, but a simple search will help... Any CN based ROM should work. I think PACEfied is.

I haven't tried but according to another post elsewhere you have to flash it using TWRP.

Some people have tried it and it is MIUI 10 for sure. My guess is that it is the latest closed beta.

yeah i was on the developer firmware 8.8.29, i was able to unlock my bootloader luckily.
i dont have any beta account nor i am in the internal testing group. u just need to unlock ur bootloader, and then get twrp and misc.info flashed, as per instructed on the GSI ROM flashing guide.
Not aware of bugs so far but so far so good, performance bump coming from MIUI 9 and some UI changes which are much better and PIP works well as intended like in android oreo.
on a side note @sabar_op, browsing through the miui cn forum, seems like miui 10 8.9.5 is available already ^^

Just update from stable to beta. You can download now beta version 9.1.24 and manually update (backup your data because everything will be erased) and next friday you will recieve next beta version via OTA...

Man, do you know if chinese version has camera2 api enabled?
It's bizarre that they are launching Note 7 with this enabled by default and Mi 8 Lite that has capables sensors doesn't have it. It would be nice if they change it in next pie beta global ROM but I have low expectations.

Yeah. I've bought it to my wife too (but 4Gb/64Gb midnight black version). She was used to take photos with GCam with her former Mi A1.

Don't know that but we will know in friday... I heard (unconfirmed) that whole Mi 8 series will have enabled camera2 api in Pie...

The new flagship by Xiaomi, Mi 9 and its ‘lite’ version have been released earlier this week, and we saw a good move from Xiaomi by released the kernel source immediately after the launch event, but stock ROM took some time.
Mi 9 series has three devices, for now, the most-powerful flagship Mi 9 (codename: cepheus), the pretty Mi 9 Transparent Edition, and the first device with Snapdragon 712 in the world Mi 9 SE (codename: grus)
We, at Xiaomi Firmware Updater, was able to get the first official MIUI package for Mi 9 and Mi 9 SE, although it’s not available on MIUI China website yet!
Mi 9 MIUI version is V10.2.5.0, while Mi 9 SE one is V10.2.3.0, and both of them are running Android Pie (9.0) unlike some leaks reported earlier.

And as usual, the new devices will be added to Xiaomi Firmware Updater once the stable ROM becomes available publicly.
No Global ROM out, yet...? Because I got the global Version of the phone at home now.
CN is 10.2.5.0 already available - why are there no newer EU roms available since the global variant is out and being shipped.
Received my phone yesterday.
Does any1 know how to switch to the CN firmware? Cause the integrated updater in MIUI has no option to manually update with a zip file.
Earlier versions of it supported this on other MI phones..

Thanks. But this is not an official relaease from Xiaomi for Global rom. This need to be bootloader unlocked which is currently most of the device need to wait for 360 hrs period.
I have the global rom and the update isnt available yet

There is EU ROM and a thread with TWRP, MAGISK, EU ROM link etc
I look forward to the core of the phone released. I would like to root and own systems.
