is there any way or chance that this can be switched on or something?
I'm not sure I understand what you are referring to. Under settings/system/system navigation you can choose navbar options or to use onscreen gestures instead.
yeahvi know bit want to use the google stock android pie one if possible

Hi I'm looking for a mod to show the navbar controls in the power menu
I'm using kaos droid ROM which I think is based on cm10.1
I've used a ROM previously that had this feature I think it might have been aokp, I'm not totally sure but I'm wanting to stick with this ROM while getting this feature if possible
Can anybody point me towards a mod that will work on my nexus 7?
Thanks in advance
Are you referring to this?

No I already have this which I want to use so that I can run all apps in full screen, but there is a mod which will insert the navbar buttons (home, back, recent apps) into the power menu so that you can still access them when expanded desktop is enabled.
It's that mod that I'm looking for
Hey guys, I'm running Dogg Rom at the moment, but I have the Xposed Framework set up, and of course root, so I'm open to just about any solution possible.
Anyway, I'm looking for 3 things to make me feel right at home: Hiding the Navbar and making it show up with a swipe from where it would be, and "Hold back to kill" the current app.
Here's what I've tried so far:
GMD Autohide: This gives me the hide Navbar and swipe abilities, but I can't enable hold back to kill with GravityBox; My guess is that it actually just turns off the native nav bar and replaces it with a new one that has the functionality.
GravityBox: With this, I can enable expanded Desktop, and I can enable hold back to kill, however, I can't get get the Navbar to show back up without turning off Expanded desktop; I can't even get PIE Controls to work.
If anyone knows, I'd appreciate it.

To hide and show up.. I cant remember.. But I have seen it somewhere.. And to kill by back button.. Try xblast.. It works well. I just make my nav bar transparent.. Lol

Hrm. XBlast looks good, I'll give it a shot as soon as my restore happens.
The only thing keeping me from going back to stock from LOS is onscreen navigation bar. I hate the capacitive buttons.
Is this already enabled in latest stock version, and if not, can I enable it if I am rooted/custom recovery? I strongly prefer a solution for B25.

don't take me 100% seriously, but I think there's some code you can put in build.prop that enables the bar. Try looking on already posted Q&As...
I'd like to use FNG instead of the stock gestures, but the existing side gestures get in the way. I know the old navbar can be hidden with ADB/shell commands (if you're rooted you don't need ADB), but what about the side gestures?
Create a framework overlay and set config_backGestureInset to 0dp

Hi,
is there a way to get rid of the Navigation Line at the bottom of the Screen when using gesture mode? Asus unfortunatly doesnt give the option like Samsung for example to hide it.
im a noob and dont know if theme modification is a thing at all or if i must switch completely to a different OS
thank you very much!

unfortunately it is not possible to remove the pill by making Asus native gestures work. What is possible is to remove the pill (using the entire screen) and use gestures from third-party applications. For me it is the best option. root is required

On March 31, Asus released an update (WW-33.0804.2060.113) that allows you to hide the navigation bar. There's a new learning curve when navigating with gestures without the navigation bar, and after a month like that, I don't miss the navigation bar.

Using Nova, this comes with bugs. Sometimes clicking on apps in the dock, they're unresponsive

Seconded

Can you please see if it's the same issue you're experiencing that I posted here?
Buggy navigation pill swipe from home on latest update
So, a week or so ago I've been forced to install an OTA update (despite disabling these in settings, because see this thread), and now my navigation is screwed up. Swiping right on the pill from any regular app correctly switches to the previous...
