Hi everybody, i'm facing a quite strange problem with a Meizu M5 Note. The phone has never been rooted and i've never attempted to flash custom Roms. I was using the phone normally, and suddenly the screen became grey, except for the status bar. I've restarted the phone and it returned to work. I used it a bit, then i locked the screen. When, after some minutes, i tried to unlock the screen, the phone was literally dead. It doesn't boot up at all (the screen remains black), so i can't access the recovery. By measuring the battery's voltage with a tester, it shows the right value (it was about the 60% or 70% when the phone "died"). I connected the phone to the computer and Windows detected it, i've also been able to install some drivers and now it's shown under the voice "Mediatek USB Port", but it continues to connect and disconnect from the pc. It seems like it's bricked, but there's no reason for it to be bricked. Has somebody got any ideas?
after change the screen,my meizu m5 note suddenly shut down and hard to boot, especially when i use data in it (wifi or cellular data).strangely, when it connected to charger,it appear quite normal.not suddenly shut down.anybody knows why is it?is there any problem on LCD or the battery?

I have a stock iOcean x7 elite which is a good Chinese phone, its amazing besides this issue that has rendered it useless. I was rebooting my phone and then it started getting stuck on the boot sequence, I didn't think anything about it so I took the battery out a few times. It did the same thing and then it just wouldn't turn on at all. Black screen and everything.
When I plug it into the charger the light doesn't come on. When I plug it into the computer, I can hear it sync up and then unsyncs. Nothing shows up in the My Computer screen.
Is there anything I can do, or is it toast?
Thanks
wasn't sure where to post this but I haven't seen or heard anyone else having the same issue as myself. I've tried MIUI 8 and various CM13 Roms and the same issue seems to come up almost as if it is set on a schedule. So every time I get the phone to work it stays on for about two or three days without any issues but then it suddenly freezes, if I turn the phone off at this point and wait a few hours I am able to either get into FASTBOOT, TWRP or the MI splash screen. FASTBOOT and TWRP are able to keep the phone on boot the MI spash screen turns the phone off without even booting, If I plug the phone into the computer at this point the LED blinks red, and the phone is recognized as Qualcomm Hs USB Qdloader 9008 (PORT 3) which I assume is EDL mode or it doesn't recognize the device at all. When I leave the phone on for a little over 24 hours I am able to turn it back on and have it function normally for two or three days before the cycle repeats itself. Another issue I have is that the fingerprint sensor sometimes works and other times doesn't, in the sense that if the ribbon cable is connected to the motherboard the phone won't even boot, I've tried booting the phone without the fingerprint sensor being connected and it worked fine but as soon as I connect it back on the screen slowly fades out and all functionality is lost. I'm just interested to know if anyone has experienced these issues and if there is a fix for this.
Hey there. I found a bit old phone in my house, Huawei G730-U10 with MTK6582. Here's problem:
Phone won't turn on at all (no reaction) with battery in and USB out.
With battery in and USB in (connected to charger or PC, no matter what), at first it turns on red led that stays still, and after some time it starts vibrating with interval of about 10 seconds and PC sees it for 2 secs (it connects and after 2 secs - disconnects), then everything repeats. I assume it's bootlooping, but there's no anything on screen (it doesn't even turn on, full darkness). This continues even after taking out USB, only way to stop it - take out battery and place it back.
With battery out and USB in, red led starts blinking with very quiet beeping (very very very quiet).
As you could guess - recovery, fastboot and other things aren't working.
I've checked main board, everything is ok, connected and working fine.
I think there's problem in ROM (not firmware ROM, but ROM that's read-only memory). Something's wrong, maybe there's wrong preloader (or there's no preloader at all), maybe boot partition is damaged, I don't know.
Service center tried to fool me on buying new board for 100$ (althrough it costs 40 on aliexpress), I think they didn't even look at it, so I can't trust them.
I don't need suggestions like "try to flash new rom", you think I didn't try? How is this possible if I can't make PC to see phone for more than 2 secs? Flashtool isn't working even without battery mode.
Do you have any ideas?
Thanks for help.
I bought a Cubot Power at the start of December, and I was quite happy with it for a while. Two days ago, I decided to install Greenify to test it out on a non-rooted phone, but when I tried to restart the phone, during the boot screen the phone froze for a moment and after that I couldn't do anything else other than stare at the black screen. Surprisingly enough, the next day my phone had it's screen on (had to insert PIN from restarting), and got to use it for a couple of hours. Then it froze again, and after that I haven't gotten it to work.
I'm not exactly sure what happened to it, unlike my previous phones it does not vibrate when turning on so it's hard to tell whether it's stuck in a bootloop. But when I do connect it to my PC with an USB cable, my PC starts making the device connect sound, only to disconnect a couple of seconds afterwards. When I open up device manager, I can even see MediaTek driver in there, which disappears with the device disconnection sound. I can't get into recovery, I've tried using the volume up + power button combination, but with no results (screen still remains black).
I've tried to use getdroidtips guide to install stock ROM on my Cubot Power, but no matter which stock firmware version I use, flash tool gives me an error "STATUS_DA_HASH_MISMATCH".
Does anyone have any suggestions what else can I try? It would be a hassle to send it back to get it fixed, as I ordered it from half across the world.
Hi to all the XDA community,
It looks like that I am a new member but I have been for several year on XDA (but I lost all the log in details).
The problems I am facing is with a Samsung J6 that my mother in law gave me because one morning didn't show anything on the screen. These are the steps I did:
1. Screen is black, first thought lets charge it. I kept on the charger for ages. When I got back home I was sure that the phone is fully charged (it shows it on my usb hub). Tried to switch it on - Result, nothing is coming up to the screen
2. Hard reset by pressing power button and volume up or down - Result, nothing is coming up to the screen
3. Connect the phone on a laptop to check if the laptop recognises it. The laptop is doing the noise that something is connected and start installing drivers. Seconds later the device disconnected and connected again and this loop of connection and disconnection is happening for ever -Result nothing, only question marks.
4. Thought that is a hardware failure and since the screen doesn't shows anything I bought a new screen. I didn't by an OLED, I bough the cheap one. - Result, nothing is coming up to the new screen
5. I disconnected the battery and install the screen again connect the battery and try the same steps 1 & 2. - Results the same as the steps 1 & 2.
For me it looks like that the phone is bricked (I forgot to mention that my mother in law gave it to someone else before she pass the phone to me, no trust ) and the other guy probably tried to change the ROM or something similar. The boot loop that the phone is doing when I connected on my laptop is not normal (noise of connection and after 1sec noise of disconnection).
Additionally, I am not sure if the screen is working and I am on dilemma, do I have to return the screen to the seller of keep it until find out what is the problem with the phone. Maybe the screen is the faulty part that cause another issue. When I connect the phone on the laptop without the screen is doing the boot loop noise of connection/disconnection. I found out that when the phone is connected on the laptop and I press the power button the disconnection noise is delayed by couple more seconds.
Any help or guidance will be more than welcome.
Obtain the Stock image for your fone from samsung, load it into the version of Odin they suggest, but dont start it yet.
Disconnect fone from pc, and turn it off.

Thanks for your response.
Samsung drivers are already installed.
The problem that I am encountering is that I can put the phone on download mode. Firstly because I can't see anyhting on the screen and secondly because my laptops can see the device. I tried different cables too but nothing worked.
Since the phone cannot be recognised by the PC, the Odin app cannot see it either.
