Every time I get a notification on the Honor 8x my music volume changes. For a start I can't find how to stop my music pausing every time I get a notification but more annoyingly the bass drops to minimum and my treble goes to full when I get notified.
This reverses if I get another notification or pause the music and press play again. It also happens more when using a bluetooth speaker than headphones.
I had a similar issue with the Honor 6x.

Now I came across a strange issue.
1) While playing Jewel3 (see marketplace) I noticed that during the game the sound levels slowly decrease, sometimes these at once return to the starting volume level, and slowly decrease later on. This happens in minutes, and slowly, so may go by on non attentive listeners.
2) Also I noted at another time when viewing a video fullscreen with the video player, that when the battery warning came on the volume of the notification was higher than the volume of the video playing. Afterwards the volume of the video had increased.
Has anyone else issues like these? It is hard to reproduce but it occurs regularly.
If you are playing music using Nokia music through the external speakers at full volume and get an email notification, the music keeps playing but at a much lower volume. I noticed this today and was hoping someone else noticed this bug. Can you recreate it? Thing is to get the music back to full volume I had to open a few programs and restart Nokia music. I wonder if it can be fixed or if this is related to the poor speaker volume overall.

yes, that i notice too. and if, the message volume was higher than the level set of the playing back audio, the audio will after the message audio continue at the message volume level. thus volume levels seem adjusted by messages and maybe other internal settings.
So I got the Kate version of this phone for a couple of months and I really like it. But today, it stopped playing sound from the back speaker when using media apps like Spotify and Youtube. If I plug in my headphones, it works just fine though.
Here is the fun part: If I start a song on spotify, go into settings>sound and change the volume for the notification with the slider, the sound of the notification is played from the speaker as the volume is adjusted. When the sound has played, it resumes playing the sound from spotify. But when the song ends (and another one begins) or I skip to the next song, the sound is gone again. As I am running custom rom(Aosp Extended), I'd thought it was just some weird bug. I did a complete reflash of another rom, Pure Nexus, but I still have the same problem. What could be causing this!? I have never experienced this with any other phone. At first I thought the speaker was broken, but it does seem to work. I still get notification and ringtone sound if I get a text or somebody calls me.

No one has found a solution to this?
i've been having issues with my Mate 10 Pro, in combination with both my Bose QC30 and my Bose SoundSport. i heard from someone else who has the same problem, but with a set of Jaybird X3's.
I don't think the problem comes from the QC30 or SoundSport, as they work fine with my pc (desktop pc with bluetooth dongle)
Issue 1:
I pause my music, with the headset, use the fingerprint sensor to unlock my phone and use some app. I close the app, press the power button to turn off the display and press play again on my headset. Music will play for x seconds, mostly about 5 seconds or so and then stops.
Sometimes it will start playing again after some time, but when i unlock the screen with the fingerprint scanner, it start playing immediately
Remedy (most of the time) is switching headset off and on.
Issue 2:
Listening to music through bluetooth, suddenly sound switches to the speaker on my phone. In the status bar, it shows bluetooth is still connected and it actually is, as the controls on the headset still function. But somehow the media output has switched to speaker.
Remedy is same as issue 1.
Both issues happen occasionally, sometimes don't have them for an entire week, so it's pretty hard to reproduce.
I have tried:
-reinstalled Spotify
-unpairing the headset
-deinstall Bose+ app and pair headset manually
I'm using Spotify to listen to music, Spotify has been set to manual battery management, so has the Bose+ app.
Only other thing i could do is a factory reset, but i can't imagine that will fix the problem.
Anyone else experience any of these issues?
Remedy?
I wonder if the 8.1 update (when and if they release it) would solve these issues
Hi guys,
i just noticed this strange behaviour twice since having my Honor 10.
When i'm listening to spotify music via bluetooth in my car (no Android Auto connected), sometimes (not every time) after getting a notification (notification sound is also played on car audio) the music continues to play without any bass (low frequencies are missing).
After pausing and resuming the playback in Spotify everything sounds as expected again.
Someone had that, too?
And found a fix?
For me it would be ok to disable notification sounds when on bluetooth audio.
Call rings should play tho.
I naild it down to the facebook app.
It happend when listing to spotify with my soundbar, too.
After shutting down facebook in and notification setting the sound was normal again.
Is there a way to remove "sound permissions" for facebook app but keep the visual notifications?
Regardless of whether you play, listen to music or watch movies, the volume is reduced (sometimes it becomes muted) and then it restores itself. It's really annoying. In short, the multimedia volume lowers itself. There is no problem with headphones connected.
