Hello,
hope this is the right section.
I've just done a firmware update on my Meizu M6 Note to the latest build: "Flyme 7.1.0.0G
and after looking in the settings menu, I've ended up with this
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I think this might have occurred because I previously had attempted to remove the "Meizu Account" section from the settings menu earlier this year.
So now the database seems to be mixed up a bit.
I don't really want to completely format/reset my phone just to fix this.
I've extracted the settings apk using Titanium Backup, but I'm having an issue finding what I need with HxD & Notepad++ in order to correct this.
What can I do to sort this out?
Thanks

I'm struggling with something on Android Chrome on my VZW Nexus running Bugless JB.
When I do a Google Search I click the wrench for search tools because I only want to see results for the last week. I get the screen below. I can't figure out how to change the time option. Clicking it is not working. I have managed to get it to work a couple of times but I don't know how

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
This is confused further by looking at a colleagues T-Mobile Galaxy Nexus. He appears to have a completely different version of chrome where the search tools are on the left.
Recently I got a security and some minor OTA updates on my SM-G925I and after fully updating it, I was surprised to see that a battery saving app called Shutapp got installed into the system partition of my phone (i,e. it became a system app). Because when I tapped on "Edit" there is no negative sign shown on the upper right corner of it's icon for uninstalling !
Has Samsung integrated it on this update or is there some sort of error occurred while updating? (P.S. My phone wasn't rooted at all)! Anyone noticed that same change or is it just me?
(It's a nice battery saving app BTW )

Well guys pretty much what the title says. I was looking for an older APK of a game. Downloaded what I thought was the APK and installed, it was a spoof... Now I cant uninstall it through settings. How can I delete this, its probably safe to assume its got a RAT or something built into it so id love to get it off my phone ASAP

Phew, got it. It made itself device admin thats why i couldnt uninstall. Disabled that and then I was able to uninstall!
I'm going to close this thread since you have resolved your issue.
I've received an I9300 from a friend, that has a strange screen overlay/popup on the home screen. Does anyone know how to get rid of it?

Thanks in advance!
I've seen that before. Its factoryapp. Factory mode.
If you didn't enable it yourself then you know an app for that.. one you downloaded probably did it.
You need root to fix it. No root means flash back to stock.
Find efs/factoryapp/ and open the factoryapp file with a text editor and change its contents to the opposite of what it is now. Save and exit. Reboot phone.
Guys,
Bought the RN9 PRO today, but I cannot find a way to edit/add/rearrange the shortcuts in the drop down notification area. I'm on the latest update for MIUI 11.
Any ideas? This is what I see:

Same here.
I think we cannot arrange it.
It's a bug that happens after restoring Google backup. The fix is easy using adb, just type: adb shell settings put secure sysui_qs_tiles default
Check there if you need more instructions https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/quick-settings-edit-tile-missing.54865/#post-543658
This restores quick settings back to default and the "edit" button will reappear. Worked for me.
