Hi. I saw that Huawei posted about EMUI 9 on twitter.

It says P20 Series. But only mentions P20 and P20 pro
Does this apply to P20 Lite as well ?
At the moment i have ANE-LX1 8.0.0.162(c432) And there is no newer update yet.

Hi there
Nope, Huawei P20 Series is composed by only P20 Pro and P20. I thought it would include it too but it doesn't.
Don't worry, a new update is coming for your build C432 which includes the full screen gestures and some new changes
As for the EMUI 9 update, look forward to this thread by me which includes all information we know until now:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p20-lite/how-to/android-pie-update-status-huawei-t3836567
Which points to a Beta of EMUI 9 in january (Official Huawei Chinese information)

XDA wrote an article about leaked mate 20 pro wallpapers and themes you can download them. They include new icons. All in all nothing too spectacular.
What theme did u install via play store?

How can i get the official firmware from huawei to update my mate 10 pro to pie

Firmware Finder erecovery is the only free way to get the pie update early, other than that you will have to wait for Huawei.
I used FF erecovery with no issues.

It most definitely is not the only free way to flash pie, but to address the OP if you want Pie and can't wait for the OTA I suggest reading and searching this very forum, if you don't have the time to search and read you probably don't have the time to deal with the very real pitfalls that'll cross your path.

I don't understand why you bothered to comment if you're not going to share your knowledge or even make one useful suggestion, followed by make sure you read and understand before diving in.
I will rephrase my suggestion Firmware finder is one of the simplest methods to updating a completely unmodified phone with locked bootloader.

I got tired of waiting for pie so used the firmware finder erecovery method. Was a bit of a pin to get it to work, but managed. Had to use Windows 10 hotspot feature because i cannot change my router dns.
Next time i will buy Oneplus. Never again samsung og huawei because of hopeless slow updates.
Pie by the way is amazing on the Mate 10 Pro ?

I used the windows hotspot too, but I thought it was fairly simple, but I agree with the slow updates, probably keep this phone for another 6months then jump ship, One plus is high on the list.

Dears,
I managed to update my phone to the latest version with google play services without wiping my files, I was on the following versions:
(OLD Version)
Base SV
ELS-LGRP6-OVS 10.1.0.182
Cust SV
ELS-N39-CUST 10.1.0.2(C185)
Preload SV
ELS-N39-PRELOAD 10.1.0.1(C185R1)
(New version)
ELS-N39-CUST 11.0.0.2(C185)
ELS-N39-PRELOAD 11.0.0.3(C185R1)
ELS-LGRP6-OVS 11.0.0.169 (FullOTA)
there were no files for the C185 region in the Firmware finder app that let you update from 10 to 11
you can get them from here
ELS-N39-CUST 11.0.0.2(C185)
http://update.dbankcdn.com/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G6613/g1755/v464745/f1/full/changelog_cust_hw_meafnaf.xml

I'm not quite sure if this exactly targets your problem, but did you try to find the Firmware with the Huawei Firm Finder ?
A quick lookup shows me the following for ELS-N39 C185:
EMUI 10 Firmware (10.1.0.***) is available and can be used for downgrading via HiSuite Proxy.
Hope this helps.

LOL I'm on A12L
But you need Emui 9
I don't recommend to update on Emui 9.1 above because of efros encryption.
If you want to install A12 just download PE GSI on Ponces PE GitHub
Then do this instructions
Fastboot erase system
Fastboot flash system (drag here your extracted gz in to img)
Then force it to boot on erecovery then do
Format. Then you can now boot on A12L
https://t
Is it stable? Why hasn't anyone hung it here with the instructions yet? I mean thread. In total, there are no A11 or A12 on XDA here on P10 Isn't the A12L a coincidence for devices with large displays? For example tablets. How then does it work on such a small display?

Where did you get your kernel? can you please share your kernel?
I would like to have A12, too. But I do not know if this would really work fine as rhe soc seems to be too slow for emui 9.1. So, i guess, it does not run a12 in a better condition.. can you confirm this? My p10 stutters a lot and takes too much time for loading some apps. And GPS on pokemon go is very buggy....
I noticed as of today I have the Emoji 14 set 🫥🫠etc.
Which app or component updated to give this? I thought it was coming in 12L.
I'm not on 12L or in any other betas
I think either a gboard update does this or google somehow does it behind the scenes like a feature drop release.
Gboard last updated 7 days ago, I would have noticed in that time, so it wasn't that.
I would suggest you to please recheck the Android version, either it should be Android 12 or the Emoji set is not 14.

Gboard does a lot of updating in the background without actually updating the APK.
not sure what is in charge of this, but emoji in Android 12 are kind of independent from os version and Google can update them whenever without pushing an os update
every past emoji update I got came with a system OS update. this one might have too, as they appeared within a day or so of when I took the 2nd feb update.
how exactly do you find out what version of the emoji you have?
All the sets are published on emojipedia, you either have them or you don't. There was no notification
I am happy using MS SwiftKey and their emojis.
