i have bought a 8x Max in china, all works fine, gmail, playstore, i have all my contact in gmail but not in my phone, i install google contact sync apk 9, google contact... but nothing happen, i can t find my contact to call them or send a SMS. The phone try to sync contact but nothing happen.

You have to be patient with that sync.
Go to apkmirror and download a minor version: install it in your device and try to sync your Google account. If it works, you are a lucky man, otherwise repeat the process downloading a new minor version until you find the one that works for you.
Speaking for myself, I started my process with an apk with a version number 9 and I found the right one for me: 4.4.4-1227136.
It works like a charm!

Thank you you saved my life, I knew I had to install google contact sync because I did the same when I bought my Huawei P8 MAX but it wasn't working with the most recent version, the version 4.4.4 did work instantly. :good::good:

There is nothing inside SelectApps these two days, only a small word "SelectApps" blinking! Anyone has the same problem?
All are working? Mine still has nothing inside, wonder if it's the website or my tablet problem!
SelectApp is a Sony built in app.
For me Selected Apps works fine ...
A lot of apps are shown on the web site.

Back to normal yesterday evening, I think it's the website problem.
I take no credit for this whatsoever. A lot of folks over on the ZTE forum were asking about installing the Google Contacts and Phone from the Pixel and so I poked around and found this Moto X Play thread:

I downloaded and flashed the zip via TWRP and so far everything seems fine.

did you get the Call UI from Google Dialer, i changed the settungs to Google Dialer as default still i can see the Stock UI during the Call.

I've been using the Nexus version of the Google dialer for the past couple months, it was this way too.... I flashed this Pixel dialer today, it did update (I compared version numbers) and it's still this way. So, I think this is "normal".
Just downloaded both and only the phone apk would install. Also might have found a bug or some type issue trying to open the Quick Replies tab in the Settings. Took a screen shot

What I linked to was a flashable zip, not individual APKs. I think the error you're getting is expected if you just try to install them via APK.

Google Contacts 1.6.15 can be installed over the ZIP and it works fine.

If you install this and freeze both the mifavor in call UI and phone and messaging you will get the pixel UI.

I have an Amazfit Stators, and yesterday the vibration stop to works.
I use the official Amazfit App and I tried to test notification with the App, the notification appears without vibration.
I also performer a factory reset but never is changed.
My phone is an Asus zenfone-3 with Android 8.
Any suggestions?

No third party APKs installed on watch and never flashed any ROM? If both are true, then if it's still under warranty I'd request a replacement, as it seems to be a hardware problem...

I've done a bit of looking and the only solution I can see is a factory reset, which is a pain in the butt
Since updating to emui 9.1 I've noticed my phone randomly vibrates
More specifically, it seems to do so after I send a message, almost like a delivery receipt notification.
Both in messages and Whatsapp
It's two quick vibrates, like a tap tap
Short of a factory reset, any ideas?

I installed a notification tracker and sys logs viewer. No help

In Settings > apps > show system apps/processes
I found one called feature adviser
I made sure all vibrate settings were off on notification. So far so good.

Can't find one in apps list. Must of uninstalled already?
I have noticed random vibrations too. It's always two short vibrates. I think that some app in the background crashes and instead of "the app crashed" we only get those vibration notifications.
I have the same... Also have whatsapp so maybe there is something with it...

I'm on EMUI 9.0 and I've having these, I downloaded a notification monitor to see what was triggering these vibrations,
It is the download manager which seems to make the phone vibrate whenever something is downloaded, in this case, my phone seems to be downloading Whatsapp audio files, I dont get any message notificaiton from whatsapp since I'm inside a feew groups and I've muted them, I'm pretty sure that is where these audios are getting downloaded from.
I may report back, I'll try disabling auto download audio files and see what happens.
it's whatsapp app. on emui 9.1 we get a vibration also when the other person reads the message.. quite annoying.
a temporary workaround would be, delete whatsapp from recent apps.
let me know if you guys solve the problem. I just purchased the mate 20 pro today so I can't try yet
Whatsapp is not my case - I do have it installed but I don't chat with anyone via Whatsapp. Anyway, I'll remove it for few days and see if it helps.

but I've just read some comments on that news, some people are experiencing vibration because the download app.. so yeah it might be not just whatsapp related
Problem is I cannot uninstall Whatsapp as I communicate a lot for work and overseas with it!
Anyone found another solution?
I do feel Whatsapp is the culprit, but also happens with normal message app too, but doesn't seem to be as frequent

It is with google dialer and has no native call recording.

You try Tota Call Recorder.It works for me for all my devices since a long time.It has plenty of customization too.
You can sign up for beta app of google phone. It has call recording feature in default dialer itself.
However it is pretty bland, not for a lot of customisation.
It announces we are recording call which is a blocker for people who want to secretly record.
As you know, secretly recording is crime according to privacy laws in many countries.

Search for Phone app in Play Store.
Scroll down to find beta section.
You see a button 'join' (in my screenshot it is showing as leave as I have already joined)
A new update will be available in Play store after few mins.

Strange. I get missed call notification correctly. Anyway google phone is the default dialer in Mi 10 global and many are using the default dialer already as third parrty dialers run into issues here and there.

on google phone an then it just stoped giving notification
The only way is using xiaomi.eu rom.

no they use standart contact an phone but u can install gapps then u will have gphone an message
