I am currently using poco f1 6,128 gb variant
And I use jio as my primary sim.
So I am not able to use internet via wifi hotspot through my device on my laptop as it shows no internet.
It firstly works fine for around 5 mins then the connection stops and my laptop and other devices shows no internet.
And if I turn off and on my data connection then internet works fine but only upto 5 min.
During all this I can use data connection on my phone but not on hotspot.
Plz help somebody.
Open apn settings and add one more apn type as "dun" after comma.

is there a way to use the wifi network just for lan and the 3g network for internet at the same time?
i'll explain my issue:
when i connect my phone to my odb2 dongle using wifi i can use the odb2 interface but i have no access to internet...
while driving i'd like to record my car activity and use internet as well.
so i need wifi on to connect to the odb2 (but no internet access)
and 3g to use internet at the same time.
i've googled it but unsuccesfully.
do you have any suggestion?

I have this peculiar problem. I am using Micromax A116 dual SIM (Android 4.1.2)) with internet pack activated on both SIM.
The thing is when I use internet on my laptop using Wi-fi hotspot from my mobile, I am able to acess net on my laptop if data connection on SIM 1 is activated. But as soon as I switch my data connection to 2nd SIM i.e. SIM2 I am not able to access internet via Wi-fi Hotspot though I can access it through USB tethering. I don’t know what’s the problem though my wi-fi icon on laptop shows me connected on both occasion but I can’t access net on laptop. Please help.
might be your rom is not supporting dual sim hotspot... try other fast and stable 4.2.x roms in development section........

But here aper problem: when i have turn On and wifi and Data Mobile (3g...4g connections) internet connections breacke of.
i tinck TeamViewer mouve automaticaly internet connection from data mobile to wifi and problem is wifi connection from phone i used only for connect camera wifi module for internet i used data mobile.
How can i change this settings when i enable wifi connection from phone, internet connection keep by data mobile(3G or 4G) and not muve automaticali to wifi phone because i can not connect and wifi camera and wifi internet share in same time?
Hi, I am using Redmi note 3 Kenzo runs on RR ROM Latest Version. In sometimes my device will not provide internet through wifi. It will shows that connected to a network but no internet connection. Same time if i connected to the same network by my other phone or with my Laptop, there is no problem. I can access the internet. After rebooting the phone (Note 3), It will work like normal. Plz help me to solve my problem.
The MIUI update has bugged the 2.4GHZ wifi; it will connect and work on 5GHz, but 2.4 tries to connect - connects and instantly disconnects, despite the wifi status saying it is connected and working.
I found this info under the phones advanced CIT testing menu.
It HAS been reported on the MIUI forums, so hopefully will get fixed soon, until then, I suggest you disable 2,4GHz, so you dont accidentally run up a huge 4G data bill like I have.
I'm am facing the problem of Wi-Fi connected but no internet connection. I'm using internet on Jio gigafiber router. The router was configured using my phone. It worked well for 2 days. Then suddenly this problem. I'm able to connect to JIO Router at my friends place with internet connectivity. My older phone Micromax A102 and my PC get internet on my home JIO router but I cannot. I am using Stock MIUI ROM 10.2.3.0 Snapdragon and is rooted with Magisk. No new apps were installed. I have restarted my phone several times. I can connect to other networks and mobile data also works fine. I don't understand what setting on my Router could be different from my friends Router. JIO guys are unable to help as it's my phone specific.
Please help
