We learned a lot and again, gain contributors. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew even more and learned a whole lot more.

- Flash the audio fix zip
- Flash magisk zip (You need root to tweak kernel settings)

The bug i guest in this rom is the quick settings and the recents it makes slow the phone when you go in quick setting and recents so i force to change another rom i hope it will fix soon
and another bug is root manager in settings it force close when you tap it im sorry im bad in english and by the way Merry Christmas ?

Bugs added to OP. Same as any other ROM for this device. Home Button press doesn't wake up the device. Fingerprint does wake it up. I think it's not big deal.

Yes it detects fast charging and fast charging works too as the rom is made from official sources and about battery life it depends upon the usage , I play games clash of clans and clash royale and i get 8hr 30min sot in 1 cycle P.s:- By default the kernel is set on performance change it to interactive using kernel auditor. you will get a good battery life

Same on my LS 990 wifi not working.
If the build doesn't look like booting up, it's because I released the wrong series of build with audio HAL issue I already fixed. it may take some time for me to rebuild all five roms but I'll try to do it as fast as I can. Sorry for that.

Your working on 5 different Rom's for various G3 variants, all with new software that most of the new phones don't have yet. Since I'm not paying you to keep my phone updated I'll show some appreciation and wait until you can do what you can do. If something isn't working I'll put that on here with respect, again since you do this on your time and for my phone, knowing that when time permits you'll do what you can when you can. Live your life, I'm leeching off you, I'm in debt for the fact you keep me ahead of the software curve and keep me from spending 800 bills to basically get the software your giving out for free? Know I've posted in a few of your threads, but not sure I ,we, can say it enough. You owe me nothing, I owe you a thank you and all the time you need, along with me acknowledging the fact that you don't even use this phone any longer and are doing it for the G3 community. No attention needed here, it gets frustrating to read through your threads and see all the demands? Or complaints that's not motivating or helpful. Unsatisfied flashers? Try to Find another Dev that's willing to do what you're doing for my benefit.

I like this rom so far on my D850. I installed this rom then restored my backed up boot sector from latest pie crDroid to get it to work. For it being a beta and lacking features it is not bad. It starts off really sluggish and choppy but smooths with some use. I would use this as a daily if I could get any camera app to work. I look forward to seeing what else Lawnstep and Team Potato can tweak out. Thanks for the work devs.

A positive post, relating what is good in the rom, knowing it's an early release and there will be issues! Glad to see, we all need to understand that this is free, he's doing all the work on his time trying to live a life and still keep our phone running the newest software! I'm extremely grateful that your out there. Issues will be in any non factory release, time and patience corrects those issues. HardStyl3r does this for us with nothing in return. We as a community need to keep that in mind when stating problems we find, respect his work as well as the time he spends. PLEASE take the time to read the thread before posting a problem, most of the problems have ALREADY been addressed in the thread or by the Dev on the first page. Do a little of the work that needs to be done to find the answer, if it's not mentioned then by all means ask. Someone will help. That's why this is here. It's frustratingly to see a post saying this or that isn't working when 2 posts up it's already addressed stating that it will be corrected in next release? Read the thread, search the thread. You'll find most answers without having to ask.. long rant, my apologies, refreshing to see your post just basically saying thank you for what the Dev does for us .

D855 , problem with BT
In LG g3 D855:
Hello and thank you for your effort!!!
POSP has 2 problems:
- Bluetooth does not pair and goes down
- does not accept NTFS SDcard (nor ext4); only fat32
Due to those problems I did not test anymore.
Continue with 10/22 (https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/rom-lineageos-15-0-alpha-t3689278); this one works very well as I said in the thread.

About the ROMs :
GZOSP is a 9.x/10 AOSP/CAF ROM base used for other projects, e.g. Validus
Not much features will be added, only basics and aosp/caf updates/patches will be merged.
It's an open source and buildable project for everyone. (i will build and share when i need a new build is needed or if people asking for it.)
Validus is GZOSP based with a native theme engine with full OMS support (non rooted SUBS) and has features getting added progressively.
I am building it with @akhilnarang 's kernel from source. It means Validus Beryllium comes out of the box with Derp kernel updated every weeks.

Installation Instructions
1. Make sure you have a working recovery and a backup _ nandroid backup
unoff twrp by Vasishath for example
2. Download the ROM.
3. Reboot to recovery.
4.Wipe everything! system/data/cache partitions (format /data partition if u wanna be unencrypted)
7. Flash the ROM.
Optional- Flash 9.x/10 GApps.
8. Reboot and let it settle a while...
Never dirty flash from one rom to another!

Also...Logcat Extreme app is great as you can choose to start recording a log just before reproducing an error and stop recording just after, so you log just the part you need.
Xposed is not supported here, if you want to run it and have issues, try an Xposed thread for support and bug reports here only welcome with a clean install with no Xposed present.

got a few things to fix first, u can switch via magisk module time i change it....
awesome rom, no tons of useless features
screensaver settings force closes when select to clock (tapping on gear icon)
though its not complete yet some place holders here and there and features not well organized.
I just wish someone could bring GZOSP (pure) as well for our device. It's my all time favorite ROM. I like both Validus and Tipsy, but GZOSP is my sweetheart.

I used all of them on Xiaomi Mi A1.
Great rom fast as hell . It has one issue though which is present on other aosp roms . Double tap to wake doesn't work for me . On nitrogen os thread it was concluded that this is affecting users with fts panel so perhaps you might want to look into that aswell some time while cleaning the rom . The nitrogen dev fixed it i think for next release . Good job and thanks for your work!

I wanted to take the tjme to thank the developer of this sweet bomb rom:good: so far all is good as already someone said vibration controller isn't working can't wait for some some very sweet updates of this rom battery life is amazing everything is good so far for me I have been using this rom a little while and the more use it the more I love the rom
Now I am just needing to figure out how will I be able to backup with TWRP I am on 3.3.1.0 I believe that's what version it is anyone know if this is a perfect version to do a nandroid back up on? Or do I need to upgrade to TWRP version 3.3.4???

Have you migrated to CFW bootloader first before flashing this ROM? As you had LR TWRP before, I assume you were in STOCK bootloader while flashing this ROM. Please read the Megathread for more...

Great devs!.. One of the best roms ever... So many personalization options, it took me about an hour to adjust them all?. Every category in settings has a separate animation,, qs customizations are too awesome to not mention. And it's the first rom I tried that changes system font without needing to restart?. Lots and lots more...??
Oo and can we request for features to be added in future builds!!? I can't wait to see this rom getting even cooler!

Ok so I had twrp that I used to flash this rom I was trying to boot into twrp to flash Gapps and twrp would just go into a bootloop I can't do anything else except fastboot mode or twrp though it bootloops after less than a minute trying to do anything in it I am not hard bricked but I am stuck what can I do to reflash the rom or another twrp image?
I tried to reflash twrp through cmd command and that didn't work I also tried to install another twrp image that also didn't work the twrp image I installed before flashing this rom is by Team L.R for the Note 8 Pro

I had similar problem, the safest way for me was to before I make things worse and I have access to fastboot mode ,flash MIUI stock rom, bring back phone to life, then do everything agian..downgrading, migration and then custom ROM flashing..

Didn't try VoLTE.. But everything works great as a daily driver.. for me at least,, Did a clean flash,, So,, the things not working are,, vibration controller in xiaomi parts, and some (Not mandatory / not problematic if missing) stuff, a negligible bug where a section of settings doesn't adjust with the bottom rounded corners(negligible),, the expanded QS cannot be scrolled in landscape mode... bla bla... don't remember more cuz it didn't bother me.
the normal stuff works pretty great in fact. Battery life is just as good,, could extend even more with some tweaks in settings.. I charge once and can use for nearly 2 whole days in more than average use...
This is my battery usage for 3 hours,, 2 hr 44 min sot..
P.S. I was watching anime for 2:30 on wifi in chrome,, both sims set to 2g brightness lowest,, then flashed cfw 2.0 afterwards and posted on xda... No Misinformation ?. correct me if i forgot to tell sth

-Stable: YES, smooth as butter
-almost everything is working
-has multiple customisation options to choose from.
-Issues I have encountered so far are:
(1) adaptive brightness doesnt work/ doesnt have one
(2) When one pulls the statusbar to QS, Samsung parts crashes (but will continue to work and doesn't affect performance but it's annoying)
(3) on the lock screen in the status bar there is a light that keeps on flickering.
(4) (not an issue) but the GPS/Location doesn't have the High accuracy or save mode optns, like in derpfest.
-My opinion
wish the rom had the weed and landscape battery icons, GPS/Location, recents (the clear button is far left when you have multiple apps open) from derpfest.
-Overall great rom, great job my bru
NB: To make it easier to jump from one rom to another use migrate gpe app (for apps+data+perm/call logs/contacts) and google one for device settings..etc backup.

Hello....ROM is amzinggg...Butter Smooth as they said no complains about the amount of customisations there iss..>But One problem im having is, My Deezer widget in the notification is not working...Its here but not playable...I cannot press next or back or neither puase....I was wondering if there is a solution plese..>Thank you in advance

Hi, I am on AncientOS v6.4 after trying Derpfest and Spark. I had frequent crashes and instability on those ROMs, so far Ancient has been better but I still experience oddities. The main ones are:
1. Apps crashing and reopening
2. General sluggishness
3. Keyboard slow to open, sometimes doesn't at all
4. Auto-brightness never gets it right and is constantly adjusting even when the light level is consistent. It is constantly too dim, sometimes to the point that I think the phone has crashed as the screen is barely visible.
I had all of the above issues on the previous ROMs as well other than the stock ROM (stock worked but it was so slow). I am starting to suspect it is not the ROMs but my phone / recovery / firmware or something.
When it works, it works so well. Unfortunately, the issues are too consistent to ignore.
Is anyone able to comment on the above issues? Is it just the nature of custom ROMs for the A20 or is it something I have done wrong?

These phones use a custom kernel called Eureka kernel which is known to be slow on some versions. If you want possibly better performance you can try an Android 13 build made by the Eureka team which has a newer version of the kernel.

Hmm it seems there is no Android 13 kernel available. Are you able to suggest any roms that I may have better luck with that aren't based around the Eureka kernel? Any that are known to be stable?

Unfortunately there are no ROMs that don't use the Eureka kernel. Here are the 3 builds that use Android 13 with a newer kernel: https://sourceforge.net/projects/eurekaroms/files/Samsung/A20/T/ . It is made by the same people who are making the kernel.

Lineage OS is good for that i think
Terribly sorry to ask such a noob question, butdoes anyone know how I could install Magisk ?
I managed to install TWRP on this device, as well as CrDroid, but I can't for the life of me figure out Magisk, and all the tutorials I found in this subforum are deprecated and do not work :/
edit : finally managed to do it !
-Download the latest Magisk apk (version 25.2 at the time of writing)
-Rename it into a zip file (replace .apk with .zip)
-Flash with TWRP
This method is considered obsolete by the Magisk GitHub, but it's the one that did the trick !
