hi.
After freeze the default launcher, is there any way to activate the stock horizontal task switcher?

I doubt it, unfreezing is the only way I'm guessing.

I want a launcher that I can have the option to hide or remove the dock and icons so I can place a widget in that area is there any such option in launcherpro? Or do I have to get something else.

Adw has this option. launcher pro does not.

yes, and ADW Ex has even more customization. definately worth a few dollars
Alright I found the setting
Is there any way to have a shortcut or something that would pull up the app catalog without having the dock?
The only way I could do it was by enabling one icon but that defeats the purpose of me doing this since Im trying not to have any icons on the bottom of the screen where the dock is so I can make my own shortcut with minimalistic text

You should be able to set that as a swype gesture in the adw settings. Or set the home button to open close the app drawer.

Yeah I actually figured out something I was doing wrong in trying to get the look. It wasn't minimalistic text it was actually a dock and with launcher pro i just made some blank icons and set swipe feautures and it came out how I wanted. Thanks

What ROM are you running at the moment or SE firmware?
That can determine if you can get the app drawer back or not?
And, how did you delete it?
Andriod 2.2.1
andriod 2.2.1 cyanogenmod 6.1.1
Or simply reflash or backup apsa on astro and restore.

What launcher are you using bro?
Can you try long press on the dock menu? I think you see there open all apps drawer or something.

I've done this plenty of times, im using adw Launcher so this could be different for other launchers
Long press on your home screen, Launcher actions, then select open/close App Drawer.

i have seen in adw launcher but cannot find open/close appdrawer i have too much games and other data so cannot change my andriod
Easiest way would be to install a different launcher.
I believe you can also add a shortcut of the app drawer.
Ok well basically I'm having a problem on my Galaxy S II in which when I exit all apps using the task manager, it kills my lockscreen app, WidgetLocker.
Is there a way that I can have WidgetLocker relaunch after it is killed? Or should I just not bother killing all the apps?
Thanks,
Alex

There is a option for third party apps putting it into suspend mode but no option for Yur task manager not to kill it... The only way to do that is to download something like advanced task killer and just put it on the ignore list....

Ok, thanks for the replies guys, but I don't really want ATK or anything like that, the phone never lags anyway so I'll just close individual programs that I don't want open

No? Why on earth would I do that? WidgetLocker is a great lockscreen application and either way, ANY third party locker software will be killed by the default 'exit all' widget.

When i'm in the system (non-oui) launcher and i drag an icon of a system app to the top to remove it, i get an error that it can't be removed. However the icon still disappears from the homescreens for some apps. The app is still visible in the app manager in settings and an icon can be added to the oui interface. The app isn't disabled
Can anyone tell me how i can get all invisible app icons back in my homescreens? I have a 1gb/8gb 2100mhz developers edition model with the latest stock software.
As a temporary solution i've installed an app drawer app...

In app manager find the launcher and clear its data.this simply refresh the launcher and make it create lost icons again.
