Hello All,
As we all know that new chip sets support dual ISP(Image Signal Processor) mode. Hence we can capture photos and video simultaneously from front and back camera. Nokia 8 has this feature. In this feature , when capture photos and video in dual camera mode, it will generate single output file.
In one case , I need to capture the video from both front and back camera simultaneously but need to save the recording of front and back camera separately.
Please help to resolve this .
Thanks
Sheetal

Hi. I have a hermes 100 with front and rear camera but the front can't be used with the camera software to take pictures etc. My brother has the Niki200 dual touch and his camera software has the option, can that software be used for hermes and where can i find any cab.
P.S. I have tried the Coolcamera software and it enables the front camera its just that the view is 90º off set

do you mean to use the front camera as in the nokia phone? AFAIK we can do that in WM. CMIIW
I mean to use camera to take pictures like the main camera, because the front one is only for 3g calls. In the dual touch the front and the rear work with the camera software, (like nokia or anyother regular phone)

It works using coolcamera but the photos do not look good.
Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to record video through the front facing camera and the rear facing camera at the same time? If not, is it possible to record from just one camera and running in the background, so I can do other tasks while still recording video?
This would be great so I could use my phone like those ghost hunters and have my face recorded while recording what's in front of me.
Hello,
Dumping old thread. Need to do this too.
Maybe run 2 Camera.apk at the same time?
Hi.This is my first post in this forum, and my english is not very good and i am sorry for that.I have the following problem:I have Samsung Galaxy S3,using stock JB 4.1.2.When i turn on video stabilization on the camera in video capture mode, after switching in photo mode,my camera starts taking photos in 1280X720(i have set the quality to 6MP in settings).Taking photos, whitout enabling the video stabilization in video mode, and then returning to photo mode is OK.But when i take a video whit image stabilization ON,and switching to camera and taking photos the result is all my photos are taken in 1280x720.Using a third party aplication to take the photos resolves the problem but that is not a solution. My frends Galaxy S3 have the same problem.I know that the problem is in the software of the mobile and it have started after OTA update from 4.1.1 to 4.1.2.Factory reset does not help.Reflashing too.I apreciate if anybody have a solution for the problem.Thanks.
Is there a way to record front & rear cameras simultaneously for longer than 3 secs.?
I can't do this on lollipop currently, as it only allows pictures and videos for 3 seconds when using the multi camera mode. But the g4 can do it for longer than a few seconds, right?...and idk about the g5...but why cant our v10? it was made for content creation so that's really perplexing why I can't do it. I know snap mode allows 60 seconds but I want it to be continous and storage to be the only thing that stops it from recording, not a predetermined time limit, like any other time I'm recording video. did the marshmallow update fix/add this feature? is there another way to do it? an app maybe? I am rooted, if that helps. haven't updated to marshmallow but if this has been added back, that's be great news for me as I really need this feature. i might have to go buy a g4 to get it, though.
Hello,
I have bought an endoscope for my Android smartphone. It is connected via USB. And it requires to install a dedicated app. I would like to know if there is any way to use it as and internal camera. I mean, something that allows to use front camera, back camera or endoscope camera when trying to record a video with the original system camera app.
Any idea?
Thanks
