- Team Lawnchair for Lawnchair Launcher
This really is faster than even Aicp. The issue that I have though, is the fact that lawn chair is having a bit of lag. When opening up my app drawer, the launch your lags. Once in the app drawer, the launcher is buttery smooth. I haven't changed any settings in lawn chair. What I also have noticed, is that there's massive folder lag. This slows down the animations for opening up apps. This is probably lawn chair, and not the ROM. Going to try to see if this is the case.
Update: I have confirmed that the version of lawn chair that you were using, is laggy. I have no idea why. I moved over to the CPL launcher and I have no more issues. This is again not an issue with your room, it's only a launcher issue.

I can't test out Google pay but no issues with Moto actions and I got rid of the two camera apps (disabled then) and put the Google camera from play store and have had no issues with it ( fast and pretty good quality.)
Cannibal, have you had issues with the launcher? I REALLY want to come back to this room as it's the fastest I have ever used. But I can't because loading other launchers produces an error that says lawn chair has crashed . Then the launcher stutters but no freezing. It's not visually appealing

-Inbuilt Google Camera Works fine. It's v5F by san1ty.
- Google Pay should work too. If it shows issues. Go into settings > Apps & Notifications > Google Play Services > Disable Telephone Permission. Clear Data of google play services and gpay. It should work fine now.
- Yes, MotoAction works.

Again, like I said, when I use another launcher, the system constantly gives me "lawn hair has crashed errors, making the phone almost completely in usable until I switch back to lawn chair, which then becomes a slow experience until I click on an app, (which opens almost immediately)

You can use Titanium Backup (in Chuck Norris mode just to be sure) or System App Remover to remove LC launcher completely. You'll need to be rooted.

Have you flashed lawnstep module?
Disable it first.
Then you can uninstall lawnchair.
EDIT:
Sorry, had no idea that lawnchair was the default launcher in this rom.
Install pixel launcher as system app.
Then, install a magisk module called quickstep switcher and select pixel launcher there and reboot. At this point, you might be able to disable lawnchair.
Again, I'm just going to wait for the new build because I have no idea how removing the launcher will affect the rest of the rom. Just adding Nova launcher, 5 min later, my phone started complaining about lawn chair crashing. If I remove lawn chair, I have no idea what nasty consequences I may have to deal with.
Just got the new build. I am so excited. Lawnchair no longer gives any more issues and the build is faster. Thank you for fixing it Hannibal. I don't think I am going to change to another room for a long time

About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first created based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean because of curiosity. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device (EVO 3D). Since then many others have joined the project and it has grown a whole lot. We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours and many of our contributors have gone to help other projects and that is ultimately why we do what we do.
Once Jelly Bean was over, we decided in Kitkat to move to a new base which was OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting because it challenged us to see what we could with something different.
With Lollipop, we have moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. That said it has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward.
Few more things we will say is that we don't accept nor ask for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc.....
We will never ask for a dime. All we do ask is that you search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!

Nice DU is my favorite AOSP rom. Had been running the latest unofficial build but just flashed this. Thanks jbats!
The recommended GAPPS link looks to be dead. Is there a mirror?
Wow. Excellent ROM!! Everything I've tried so far works including MMS, camera, and hotspot. Great job! Has the option to disable the backlit keys? If so, where the heck is the option? Thanks so much guys!!
PS. I almost forgot but the links to gapps in the dirty tweaks isn't working.
I tried flashing this rom last night and it threw a message "cannot unmount /system" is that expected? I saw the error and just restored my KitKat rom.
Just wanted to say thanks for this ROM. Had some time to play around it's been running smooth and it's a real change to get away from TW for a change. Looking forward to see where this goes from here.

You were fine, it was telling you a SuperSU error. Don't worry about that. Flash away
Not sure what happened. But I installed this last night after a clean wipe, restored all my Titanium backups from my SD and everything was running smooth. I was loving Lollipop! This morning I wake up and notice none of the bottom physical buttons are working. So when I go to recovery to do a dirty install thinking it might fix the problem, the ROM is no longer on my SD card. In fact...nothing is. All 32GB were wiped clean. Extremely sad right now.

Yikes! Wiped the SD card? I'd had troubles if that happened to me. Hard to imagine it could be the ROM though - but who knows what gremlin got into your phone.
As for the buttons I've been having them come and go. One of the few problems I've had so far.
I got the rom flashed and am really liking it, though I have a couple questions. Is there a way to put the notifications back on the notifications bar? I'm getting annoyed by the notifications popping up and taking up the top 1/8th of the screen. Also, I'm not seeing a way to set the volume up/down to change tracks with the screen off. I'm assuming that will come later? Other than those two issues the rom is running awesome.
just want to confirm, this is NOT SafeStrap compatible right?
So far, running very smooth! However, recent apps isn't loading when long pressing the home button. Ideas?
Getting issues with mms in the hangout app. The apn list is huge and seems to change on its own. Basically it is showing group mms as a message saying new mms to download, touch to download, but it doesn't work. Anyone else have this problem?

Guys I'm really coming to an end here with all these flashing custom roms stuff...
Why is it that all these Rom Developers just assume you to know everything and never give step by step instructions on things?
I'm on nc5 right now and I tried flashing this Rom and it soft bricked me twice already(This is my fifth time soft bricking this phone in the past week), like wtf am I doing wrong ?
I downloaded this stock firmware (https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358539677) so I can unbrick my phone and followed the instructions from this website (http://highonandroid.com/android-ro...tom-rom-using-twrp-recovery-failproof-method/) to install the latest twrp using flashify.
I don't understand why you can't use safestrap on this rom and why I can't use twrp or cwm on this rom.. It really confuses me and I don't even know the difference between AOSP and TW (Some people tell me AOSP roms are not flashable on Safestrap)...
What dafuq am I doing wrong ?
Mostly because once you've been doing this for a while you assume everyone reading has some advanced level of understanding of android ROMs.
Reading the sticky posts can save you lots of heartache. Otherwise you are coming into a graduate level class without even taking the 101 class.
S4 ROMs that don't specifically say they can be installed using safe strap can only be used on MDK S4 phones. No exceptions.

Yeah...it's not a developers responsibility to educate new users. It's on us as individuals to learn. We've all had to do it. Asking for an easy way out isn't that way to go about things on here. Guides, posts that are stickied are extremely important and resourceful. Lots of users have seen noobs around here flash with reckless abandon. That's always a bad move. If you don't know what you're flashing on your phone then you probably shouldn't flash it until you have an understanding of everything you're attempting to do to your phone. There a plenty of guides on XDA that cover pretty much every topic you'd need to have a basic knowledge of rooting, flashing, how to use a recovery, kernels, etc. I'm not trying to single you out but you really do need to put in the time and research everything.
Just tried this ROM... it's awesome. I'm thinking of running it full time now.
Oh dear God, its here! Can't wait to try this out! Awesome!

OrionOS is a project based on slim. The name Orion was chosen as a representation of the beauty and vastness of the world around us (Too much Philosophy, eh? ). We started this project for Falcon (Moto G), to make a stable Rom, which would include Bitsyko layers and important customization. The Rom is built with Uber toolchain which delivers awesome smoothness and includes a custom kernel built from ground-up to ensure good performance [WIP]. Needless to say, this project is a product of our hobbies and the love we bore for Android.

Try a different gapps package like benzo gapps or banks as its working fine my end I test before releasing
Flashed and most everything seems to be working well - very smooth - but I am getting error that say Bluetooth Sharing. has stopped. (never saw this error message before so I wasnt sure if it effected anything else) I also noticed that after connecting to my car's bluetooth - bluetooth turned off completely and had to be restarted - I didn't turn it off - it turned itself off ..otherwise, it seems like a great rom and I look forward to seeing future updates...thanks for your hard work...

Same thing happened to me with Open Gapps. I ended up using Slim's with Fi and GCS baked in and it worked without issue.
Layers seems really buggy to me - didn't like it at all. I also noticed that I can't assign a profile pic in the notification bar. It'll let me choose a pic, but once saved, it still has the default icon.
I also somehow managed to delete the 'Edit Tiles' button in the quick settings drop down, and it immediately caused the rom to go into a bootloop. I wish I would have grabbed a logcat of it, but ended up wiping as I had no way to get it to boot after that.
Battery life on this is excellent - probably the best I've seen from any rom. I didn't flash any other kernels - the stock one with the rom was great. Wifi calling also works without issue (put phone into airplane mode and turn on wifi to test).
If you could port it to CMTE and smash some of the bugs, this would probably be my daily.
Flashed, looking good. Gonna rock this for a bit and make some papers for it. Great job, and layers isn't buggy what so ever for me just FYI. I prefer layers over cmte due to the much easier task in theming

*bugs*
Camera doesn't work.
I assume that this ROM has the bug where the device will occasionally reboot while using the s-pen, although I haven't encountered it yet.
Screen recording doesn't work
Distortions appear upon rotating the screen
IR doesn't work
That's all that I've noticed so far

FAQ:
Q Are you going to support both liquid dark and Orion?
A Short answer: "yes", Long answer: "I have no reason not to, each ROM is an adventure of its own, however Orion is my priority".
Q Does this ROM support Xposed?
A No, Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP, custom ROM's modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROM's. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be disscused in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports while using it as Xposed can cause a lot of bugs.
Q Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A Use the version arm sdk 23.
Q Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A If I have one I will probably give it to you, don't ask for one though, it is very rude to do this.
Q Do I need to provide a log if I'm reporting a bug?
A If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a log.
Q I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A In TWRP, go into Advanced, then File Manager and navigate to /data/system/overlays.xml and delete it, this will allow you to boot up without any theme then once booted, go into substratum and use defaults manager, then select back to system theme and this will disable all overlays.
Q Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A Yes, however make a nandroid first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs, also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.
Q How do I get a logcat, and what type should I get, and more questions that can conviently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog
Q I'm getting random reboots when using the s-pen, any advice?
A This is not an issue with the ROM, it's an issue with the bootloader that you're using. Here's the fix: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...maseks-unofficial-build-t2980604/post65631142
With the fix I'm able to use the s-pen without any issues so I know that it works.
If you face any FC which is related to the ROM please take a logcat and submit it to our G+ bug report section! Thank you
If you have issues with the tablet rebooting while using the s-pen, or issues with audio crackling, or lags, you should use this fix: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...maseks-unofficial-build-t2980604/post65631142
You see, certain bootloader's (mainly the lollipop one) are wreaking havoc on custom ROMs (not touchwiz ROMs though), this fix simply nukes the internal storage and then installs the correct bootloader and everything.

No, the camera isn't working. It's a bug with the device tree that's plaguing pretty much all exynos 5420 devices on marshmallow.

Bluetooth and Wifi work on my P600 with Orion OS!
Love the small size of rom. Yet on my P600 it restarts all over the time when pen is in use. Will wait for more mature release.

That's not an issue with the ROM, it's an issue with the touchwiz lollipop bootloader. I'll give you a guide for the fix, one second

This ROM is simply amazing. I've been messing around on it for a few hours now and have yet to encounter any issues whatsoever. I'd report bugs to you but the only thing I've seen is the screen distortion when rotating as mentioned in the OP and that's minimal. I never use the camera so nothing lost there. This ROM is so fluid... it hasn't lagged yet (and I tried). Multiwindow seems to be working better too (so far). My tablet hasen't run this smooth in quite sometime. I just might have a new daily driver!

Thanks, I'm glad you're enjoying it!
Thanks!
Seems to be a really quick light weight rom.
I was wondering two things though...
First, is there a way to disable the capacitive buttons backlight?
And secondly, are anyone else noticing a strange behavior when using note taking apps? I.e you can't use the pen when your palm is touching the screen even though the pen seems to be recognized as an stylus.

Update
Hey, i upload another build with some modifications (23.08)
New build comes with modified thermal.conf for faster charging
tuned display a bit to get away from the washed out colors
did some performance things, slow wake should be fixed and overall performance increased.
Nice to see you release one more rom for the OnePlus 2.
DragonTC... Is the kernel also optimized? Is it better than uber?

Dirty flash should be straight?
I prefer cyanogen theme mod but this rom it seems to be very interesting, i go test!
Hi
Hi just flashed this ROM...it's stable ..dear developer could you please share your orange them and which font are you using ..thank you
Rom is working quite smooth, haven't checked the battery yet.
Though i would like the feature of expanded qs tiles on location like it is PA when you click on location tile it expands and shows other location options in the notification itself while in this rom it takes you to the settings app.
And the add tile option also has very less tiles compared to other roms it doesn't matter though i don't use them much so just an observation lol.
Btw this rom uses substraum maybe you could change the link of gapps to du theme ready gapps because some substratum themes require theme ready google apps.
rom is very fast and stable,
I know its not a bug but new nexus launcher is crashing
hope you can look into it, if you feel its worth fixing

+1
And does anyone else have heating issue when using 3d games?
I was playing nonstop knight and heated up crazy and when i checked in KA it showed my cpu temp was 87°
Did you remove hcube from the rom?
I can't see the hcube option in KA on stock kernel.
So flashed blueberry 1.4 even that does not show hcube hotplug in KA.
Does this ROM have Privacy Guard from CyanogenMod?

- For every security freak out there, we merged the June security patch. Stay ?, stay safe!
- We added new APNs, so now many people who couldn't connect to internet with their sims before now should be able to. Niiceeeee.
- The old pixel animation on the navigation bar was hella bad, so we yeeted that out of the window and added a new one that is much better.
- We fixed some layout issues on the QS detail, and also that black on black text on data and dnd detail screen should be gone now. Better late than never.
- Now you can completely block data/internet usage from an app, dedicated to every privacy concerned peep out there <3.
- Remember the old location tile? Me neither, because now it's much better! It has 3 modes: high precision, device only and low battery consumption. And ofc, disabled state too lol.
- We fixed some aggressive battery issues (I don't really know which ones, but they are fixed now so).
- New adjustments made to lockscreen clocks.
• Every clock now tracks accent correctly, ayee!
• The Q styled clock now animates on time change! I think I'll never leave the lockscreen just to admire that sweet animation uwu.
• Now the owner info gets aligned with the q clock, for a coherent experience.
- The oreo panel got some brand new improvements that make it feel like oreo free real estate:
• We just brought back the old oreo layout, making the experience much better than before.
• Now the panel is compatible with custom qs colors, make your panel look unique!
• The notifications now take the entire screen, just like oreo, so you can always catch up with them.
• Animations now play steady and ready, fast af. I can assure you that they are much better like this.
• And last but not least, the network traffic indicator finally shows up on oreo panel, so you'll be always ready to catch up with the net usage.
- Now the call blocking function should be much more efficient, we don't want any new promotion thanks.
- And finally, you can now control music on the qs panel much better with a q styled seekbar allowing you to control the current minutes and seconds of the song playing. So you can catch up with your favourite part of the song!
- The builds are now signed with release-keys, so you can be sure you only install platform packages signed by us!
clean flash for this build if anyone wants to dirty flash then pm me for patch fix .

Hello, sir. I've experienced this nice rom and found some issues.
In Chinese language, there are some translation errors that had ever appeared in YumuMichi'rom.
The folded line won't show functions folded but show 当前显示了.so i'd like you to fix it````
Thanks you
