Hello There!
I have ported a nougat ROM for my LYF WIND 3 from LYF WIND 1
Both have same specs except the screen size mine one is 5'5 but the LYF WIND 1 has 5'0.
The ROM is lineage 14.1.
It starts with its boot animation and after completing the boot animation it reboots.this process is going on and on.
Edit: mine LYF WIND 3 as well as LYF WIND 1 has the same Android lollipop 5.1.1.
I'm trying to port a nougat based ROM for my LYF WIND 3.
Can you please tell me what's is the problem?
I'm trying on my own for around a month.
Please help me to port the nougat ROM.
Finally We have made many marshmallow/nougat/Oreo/pie Roms for our device.

Its imposible to develop a nougat rom for this device. The mt6592 isnt compatible with android 7

It isn't impossible it is possible but very buggy. You can see that nougat boots on 3.4xx kernel there are some places where you can find those screenshots. There is a post in xda also where a member is able to boot it on mt6592.
There is a nought rom on the forum.
If you are okay with some minor bugs then go for it.
I tried it myself on my A311.

I've been building LineageOS for quite some time. Here's my latest build.
Pretty much everything works right now (except the kernel, flash Arsenic or BlackReactor).
EDIT: Camera's broken and so is torch. *Don't flash this yet.*

Are you the one who's porting? I mean we could use another ROM in this device.
I currently use Lineage OS. But Sailfish is not another rom. Sailfish is another O.S. It's an evolution from Meego, Linux based, and uses QT on it's UI. It's also compatible with android apps.
The main point is libhybris, used on Sailfish.
That shouldn't be so hard, because S4 is already ported and uses almost the same hardware as Galaxy Alpha's. Also, just by having the kernel sources from LineageOS, it should be easier.
I've just forked the Lineage 14.1 kernel and installed the SDK, I'm starting the porting tonight

Any news on Sailfish on the Alpha
Dear XDA Alpha Community,
i always look for small and fast handsets which run Sailfish. Right now I'm running a Oneplus X with Sailfish 3 without any issues on it, nevertheless its a bit to big for my taste. So i start searching for a lot if compact smartphones which could possibly be an alternative for the OPX. The Alpha seems to have all i want, its thin (6.7mm), lightweight (114g), a hi-res Super AMOLED display (720 x 1280 px (4.70") 313 ppi) and has 2GB of RAM, just the micro-sd slot is not included in this nice package of hardware.
So my question is if there is someone who is able to port Sailfish to this nice Handset?

3. go to twrp mode by presssing voloume up key+home button+power key at a time for 3 seconds
4. go to wipe select all except sd card and swipe it
5. go to install and select my kernel and flash it.. and reboot. enjoy..!!

I keep ending in Error 6. My phone is G530H XXU. any suggestions?
Few questions to ya :
1) Is this 5.1.1 kernel with update 7.1.1 kernel commits or port from another j series or a series phone ??
2) Did it boot yet ? And what tw 7.1.1 rom its support ? Tisen or Rio or Lumiére896 ?
3) What is the bugs ? You needs to add more information to this thread so user can know how can they test this kernel
4) Will you port tw 7.1.1 rom to this device ? Or lets the porter do it ?
