Hello! I have a question. Recently, my mipad 4 is acting strange. Whatever app I was on, when I hit the home button, the screen will be just blank and takes about 10 seconds to paint all the buttons. Anybody has experienced this problem? Please help if you know what is happening and how to address the problem?
I use Nova launcher. Zero problems with home screen lag for me

Anyone else having slow wakeup response times? For instance when my alarm goes off in the morning i have to slide it off twice because the first time isn't recognized.
I find this sometimes happens when pressing the power button to bring up the lock screen, that's slow sometimes too...
Is there a remedy for this?

I have the same thing. It's happening on every rom I have tried so far (5 or 6? different ones). Seems to be something with the deeper sleep mode maybe? If I rapidly turn the screen on and off again it's fast. If it sits with the screen off for more than five or so seconds it then takes the longer wake up time.
I'm using WananLite ROM v3.2 (XXDLI3)
When the screen times out and goes black, I press the Home button to wake the screen again, but as soon as the screen wakes I see the app that was open before the timeout close and I'm taken back to whichever home screen I was at before I started the app.
If it matters, I have disabled the Home Button S-voice activation.
Does anyone else have the same problem?
Anyone know how I might fix this small problem?

Hi All,
My Titan has developed an annoying issue coming out of the standby / lock screen.
After the phone has been left and has locked it self, I press the power button to light up the display. Then when I try to slide the lock screen up nothing happens, the phone does not respond. This is also true of the buttons on the front, camera, and volume button. No response.
After a while the phone will start to respond again.
I have noticed that the phone updates email and message icons whilst its not reponding. Not sure if that is WHY it is not reponding though.
I have read that installing the facebook application from the market place can cause a similiar issue, but I do not have this app installed.
Has anyone else seen and/or solved this issue before?
What should i be looking at to cure it?

Hi there to everyone, I broke only the glass on my screen couple of weeks ago (it felt face down from about half a meter, thats stupid) and I change only the glass my self but since then i have a problem with the screen like: if I press a bit harder anywhere on the screen for about 2 sec the screen became irresponsible and also the back and menu buttons, home and power button work normal. If I press the home button it react as it should, it goes to home screen, so it's just the screen frozen on touch and I have to lock and unlock the phone to go to normal. On daily use it's not such a big problem as i don't press the screen too hard, the problem mostly occurs when playing games.
I would try a hard reset but I not rooted as I use some apps that don't work if I'm rooted and I can't save all my settings, saves and apps and personally I hate to reinstall everything back again.
I'm thinking this is a hardware problem but why it goes to normal only after lock/unlock procedure and i also find on a forum that this can be from the screen protector. 1. My S3 i535 locks up something fierce and it's running stock 4.3. and whats odd is I can press the lockscreen button which shuts off the lcd and then press it again and swipe to unlock and its fine again till I click a few more things. Rinse and repeat this process and pretty much becomes a chore trying to do anything at all. not sure if this is a separate issue on it's own or somehow related to the below issue.
2. Odd behavior with my touch screen. I have 4 apps across and 4 down on my Home-screen... if I press and hold any of the 4 shortcuts on the left hand edge I can move them like normal... same for the 2 on the right edge that are towards the middle of the screen, but the remaining icons if I try to press and hold to move them... they just open the app instead. Have tried a different launcher other than stock and same problem. Same behavior on other screens as well. I'm thinking bad digitizer? If it's digitizer, can anyone tell me if the i535's digitizer is the same as that in the i9300?
