and one for 64bit rom(lineage-15.1 or others 64bit 8.1.0 oreo roms)

Tip! for oreo stock rom
Only for rooted phones!
go to system/vendor/bin/ and rename(dont delete) the init.qcom.post_boot.sh to init.qcom.post_boot.sh.bak
reboot the phone!
this will increase the performance of the phone, in antutu, the score will jump from 58000 to 60-61000
IF you are not satisfied by the results, just rename back the file and reboot the phone!

for the moment i know los15.1 work with downgrade from oreo to nougat to be able to camera and fingerprint to work!
oreo64 kernel is based to work with full oreo based files(no downgrade to nougat)
soon as los15.1 will be stable, i will keep and update or delete the oreo64-kernel, depend by what based files will be used for los15.1!

my bootloader is still from nougat, I have not lost FingerPrint and neither imei, I changed several times from oreo to nougat and nougat to oreo, from oreo 15.1 to nougat and still not lost .. however, I was in Lineage 15.1 with the camera running, and decide to test the kernel arm64 to see if the battery consumption could decrease a little, because the LOS 15.1 is with the high consumption, so when I installed I realized that the camera stopped working, only her.

Extract the boot.img file from custom rom's folder (e.g. lineage, aicp etc.)
than flash that image in fastboot with below cmd-
mfastboot flash boot boot.img

i specified in changelog and few posts above about fingerprint not work on oreo based file!
it may work but not tested and not confirmed in downgraded phones from oreo to nougat for los15.1 and simmilar roms.
resuming you did first a backup(how i recomend in first post), you have just to restore that backup to get your system working with fingerprint
