I have unlocked the bootloader and flashed TWRP(by wuxianlin).
I wonder if Find X support Project Treble.I really expect to use a third party ROM on Find X.

You need to get the permission to unlock. So it might not work that I send you the Deep Test App.

Well, after you get the permission, OPPO would send you a latest rom which support to unlock the bootloader. To get the permission you need a OPPO account and the Deep Test App.

Oppo send out the ROM you need to unlock the bootloader.

Have you tried doing a factory reset from the stock recovery?
If so then your best bet would be to bring it into a MetroPCS since your PC won't recognize the phone. They can flash the stock system back onto the phone.
Any time your going to root your phone the first thing you should do is anable USB debugging in developer options and make sure the drivers are installed for that phone on your PC just in case this happens.

I was skeptical as well. But I guess all you have to do is flash the recovery image. I checked my backup location and the backup file is present. I also sucessfully flashed A.R.I.S.E and Atmos. But the question of CM came up in another forum and I'm wondering if now it may be possible to compile.

Alright, enjoy your recovery. I've yet to see TWRP 3.0 on this device. I wonder why. I built 3.x but it didn't boot, ported this one and it booted.
This is great! I had just about given up all hope for any progress on the Fierce XL and this comes along. Would be great to see a 3.0.X version but this is a start.
@kirito9, if I recall from the other thread everyone was kind of afraid to try the port cause at the time we didn't have factory images available in case things went south.

That's great . I have a device tree I think we can use as a base for getting CM12/13 on this device.
I'm not 100% certain but we may not have to unlock the bootloader for this device at all. Well at least fastboot works without unlocking BL s that's a start.

How can I flash the B362 update? I'm stuck at the B360 (twrp, bootloader unlocked and root, custom kernel) and I'm looking for:
-update.zip
-update_data_full_public.zip
-update_full_STF-L09_hw_eu.zip
I guess the easier will be with a nocheck recovery and with Firmware Finder.
But i also think you could use HWOTA with http://pro-teammt.ru/firmware-database/?firmware_model=Stf-l09c432b362&firmware_page=0

When I check with IMEI in FF it says I'm not approved, but when I check without IMEI it says I'm approved... Also EMUI updater doesn't find it as of now, and I'm living in Europe just like you, so I have C432.

Yeah that one works, but I'll give it a little bit more time, if it doesn't show up in Updater by the end of the week, gonna install it with FF.

Just joined and it's downloading now.
Some tips for others, open Samsung+ & join the beta program, then go to settings and software update on the phone (not in Samsung+ app) and manually check for updates.
Worked for me on an unlocked Note8 on Verizon network

Go check for the update in settings. I flashed the unlocked firmware to my T-Mobile note and received it. If flashing the unlocked firmware make sure you flash the csc file and not home csc. That's the mistake I initially made. But after flashing with the regular csc I unregistered and re-registered. Then the update came right away.
Anyone able to grab the update .zip?

I flashed XAA unlocked on my SPRINT G955U. I think that is the mistake. Now I am downloading the unlocked Sprint firmware. Hope to get beta by using CSC file in patched odin.

What version of the Samsung+ app are you using that shows the beta? I'm running 10.21.2.0 on a N950U1 and am not seeing the beta registration option.

No it doesn't break anything. All the US Note 8s are identical hardware-wise. They all support the same bands.
The only thing you will lose is WiFi calling and VoLTE (unless you're on T-Mobile).
You can search for and find the N950U1 files easily. SamFirm is just the easiest and fastest way to do it.

Thanks mate!
Just curious, with Xiaomi devices are these roms designed to work across all supported devices, so the same rom flashed on Mi 8 and Mi 9 etc?
Can't wait to try this on my Mi 9 next Tues/Wed

Me too!
Just curious, can we safely check how long is left to wait since starting the unlock process? That won't interfere with the unlock period? I'm pretty sure I can unlock Tues but it may be Wed of next week, but would be good to check.

Also, is root with magisk possible with this?
It would be good to perhaps post some instructions on how to install twrp this rom and magisk if possible.
Many thanks

Which twrp verison did you use?
Any chance you could list step by step instructions? E.g something along the lines of unlock bootloader, fastboot flash TWRP etc...? Do we need to reflash twrp after the EU rom, in order to keep twrp?
Do we need to remove encryption or can we keep it? If needing to decrypt, does twrp support Format Data?
Would be great if you can list instructions, it'll help a lot of people
When flashing with Chinese TWRP you need to change the update script..

This is the perfect rom, i installed 4 days ago and its perfect.
I've been rooting for a long time, but I haven't rooted in awhile also. I don't think Magisk was around the last time I rooted. Is Magisk required for root nowadays? I'm still not even sure what it does. I see it mentioned in rom posts
