We’re really excited to announce the release of Paranoid Android Pie betas.
On first launch, you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson, who teamed up with us again to create several beautiful pieces of artwork. For those who are unfamiliar, Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose design stands for itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We also added further UI touches that we believe enhances the overall user experience.
The beta builds include adjustments and improvements on top of the stock Android CAF base. The Paranoid Android team and contributors are focusing on squashing existing bugs, and implementing and improving features.

If im OxygenOS 3.5.6, how can I go about installing this ROM? Ive read that clean flashing 7.1 roms causes wifi drops and random reboots so is there a way that I can get the latest modem/firmware and flash this? Or would I need to revert to an older oxygenOS version and then flash this?

Network fluctuations in the lineage based rom is solved, because I am using official Lineage OS and having Network drops after using dialer from Lineage os.

Yeah I checked it. It looks like a ROM issue
All devices are affected, not just op2
Builds are currently failing. No idea why but will try to update as soon as possible
I want ROM for music.
Keys used to sign aimrom builds changed. You need to clean flash because the old keys are invalid and the new ROM can't boot with them

What is AOKP?AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for several high-end Android devices. The name is a play on the word kang and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.
We fork the source code of Android that Google puts out in the open with every major version release, and we then add the magical unicorn bytes (read: we add some of the coolest features that are both useful and make your ROM awesome).
With AOKP, you can generally do a lot more with your device than what you could do with the original firmware that came installed on it.
Why AOKP ?We were waiting for when you'd ask this.
There are a variety of reasons why a hilly billy Android user, on a bright sunny day, would suddenly start using AOKP and loving it.
For one, AOKP is lightweight. Most OEMs provide a heavy UI layer over Android and have loads of bloatware (i.e. apps that not everyone use every day, but you cannot remove because they're "baked in" by default). Since AOKP is built upon vanilla Android source, it has neither of the above.
Also AOKP has features that you will not find on your stock firmware. You can have a multitude of toggles to quickly flip a lot of your phone's settings right at your fingertips, or you can launch apps quickly from any screen using our Ribbons.
You can change almost each and every aspect of the OS, from its looks to the way it functions, with total freedom. And did we tell you, AOKP helps you make tacos?

Everything works and ok for daily use?
the rom is great and is usable for daily basis but after some days the camera app stopped working so i installed open camera which was working fine for a few days. but after a few days it also stopped working every camera app i nstalled doesnt work at all . can you try 2 fix this bug? i also flashed a snapdragon camera app after but it also didnt work

It works super well for me, thank you for your great work.
What doesn't work for me is the flashlight when the screen is off (screen off gesture). Works now!
How can I make use of the other x2 pro cameras? Oh and Face Unlock would be perfect.
I'll report more on it later!
Edit: I had some crashes in forced freeform / splitscreen mode.
Every time I try to flash this ROM or pretty much any ROM for that matter. It always boot me back to Fastboot. This happens not only with this ROM be nearly with all the other ones. Can someone help me?

So, I flashed the second build and I'm testing it right now, I read in the changelog that NFC does not work, so it was the first thing that I tested when I finished restoring my backup, and I was able to top up my sim card using "My Etisalat" app NFC payment option and my credit card.. worked without any problem.

So, I flashed the second build and I'm testing it right now, I read in the changelog that NFC does not work, so it was the first thing that I tested when I finished restoring my backup, and I was able to top up my sim card using "My Etisalat" app NFC payment option and my credit card.. worked without any problem.

Sound settings not working it keeps stopping, any solution. i am on latest build.
Sound setting not working on latest build - 30/10/2021.
Bug report:
- Sound settings is crashing
- Google Camera is laggy ( Maybe use AOSP camera in next build?)
