Honor 10 Bricked - Honor 10 Questions & Answers

Hey, i bricked my phone while playing a bit to much around with root. while booting it will stay stuck on the honor boot logo animation... erecovery shows getting package info failed and even a factory reset is useless because it freezes at the boot logo animation... fastboot shows PHONE unlocked and FRP lock so i cant flash any images.. can somebody help me?

It would've been easier if FRP was unlocked.
Also, I didn't find any solution to unlock FRP that doesn't involve money

I'll do my best, if I come across anything, I'll gladly help.
The only thing I can think of is taking your phone to service center

Afaik there's no such thing as 'Bootloader unlock status'. What does 'Bootloader unlock allowed' say? Or does it say 'Bootloader Unlocked: Yes/No'?

I would try to return the device. You want to hop on the Sony Open Devices Program and specifically bought a non-carrier device, so.

There's nothing you can do. Maybe an exploit will be found to obtain root, but I think the earliest that might happen is with the Marshmallow release.

Do you not have any consumer rights in order that they take it back?
Unless it is longer that the normal return window.

Yes, and even then. I would make a firm point of having bought the device to make use of the Sony Open Devices offerings. They can't really blame you that it took you more time than the return window to conclude that the device's bootloader cannot be unlocked. This is unusual to say the least. If they ask why you didn't check it right after you had bought it you can tell them you had to become familiar with this kind of stuff first or that you thought you made some mistake in the unlocking steps, while thinking the bootloader would be unlockable, and that troubleshooting took a lot of time. I think this is even actually what happened as well.
I think you have a fairly good position to succeed.
i think i will wait for 6.0 and then try it
(bought tablet in july 2015)

Have you enabled Xperia protection? that will not allow you to unlock the bootloader, you need to turn it off.

Only if there will be an exploit found with which you can obtain root. That bootloader status will stay the same, no matter the Android version.

Unfortunately huawei doesen't provide bootloader unlock codes anymore. So yes your only option would be DC-Unlocker.
Good luck. It might cost about 5$
If i helped press the thanks button

Hi there
I'm sorry man, we simply can't, it's a security measurement from Huawei. Unless you use Funky Huawei which it might work but I never tried it since it's paid.
Cheers,

It's quite sad yeah
I was only able to get a code because I bought a phone right on the release date and some months later they don't give them anymore :/
When we buy a phone we have multiple things to search first
Well if you can still get a refund, I would XD

I can't that's the sad part
Same for me,,you must downgrade the version of your phone,,,i downloaded the stock rom from this site https://androidhost.ru/search.html,,,i had download 135 C432 Version and follow this steps
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77706448&postcount=14
For me i used the forcable method,,and flash my phone with dload method,,,,and it's working for me,,,bootloader unlocker with HCU
I think I know why Huawei blocked/stopped the bootloader unlocking services
1. They want to make their devices not able to install official Android
2. They don't want customer to install custom ROM on their devices
3. They don't want customer to install GApps onto their banned devices
Yea, it will effect every huawei device now, I am sad
Me too
I will never buy any ****y huawei
Lost my data
after charge and reboot it did factory reset by self

Kind assistance needed

Hello, I've just purchased a Huawei Mate 10 Pro BLA-L29
And I'm unable to set screen lock. Everytime after I restarted my phone this pops up. "Only For Live Demo" but I am still able to install apps as usual and make calls. What bugs me is unable to set screen lock and the fingerprint is not usable. Any help?

It's a demo version, you will need to rebrand it.

Thanks so much for the prompt reply sir. Really grateful for your answer, but from what I've read in the forums, if I need to rebrand it I would need my bootloader to be unlocked right? And I doubt Huawei bootloader could be unlocked tho.. But please do recommend which site or paid service I could use to get it done? But it would be best if I could get it done myself tho.. Really appreciate your answer sir

Well, you could do it yourself, but you would still need to pay for it. Start looking into DC-Phoenix, that should allow you to rebrand it, but it will cost you around 15€ for a 3 days license.

No, you can't get your unlock code with DC-Phoenix, but you should be able to rebrand your device.
And even if you would get an unlock code, you couldn't use it on EMUI10, only on EMUI 9.1 and lower.
Awww.. So what should I do sir? I mean as in which one should I choose or purchase for rebranding? Really feel very grateful for your replies given. Would you know a step by step guide or walk through on the how-tos? ?

From what I just read. Rebranding does require bootloader unlock code correct, sir? Sorry for asking this but it's my first time rebranding
What about demo mode in developer options? Have you checked if it's switched off? It's maybe different thing...

Unlocking Huawei boot without code

Hi, I really want to root my Huawei Mate S (CRR-UL00), but a couple of years ago the bootloader service got shut down, I can't find any good tutorials on how to unlock the bootloader without a code, and I don't have the money to afford to buy a code from online. If anyone has a good solution for free, please can you comment it?
