hey everyone i need some help i have searched the web for weeks now to try to find something which will decompile my actions cpu tablet firmware but nothing seems to support the structure or firmware extension... i have found out that the NAND partitionns are renamed as Act partitions so NANDC = actc.. the file extension for the firmware is .FW i have never seen this before???
could some either help me on this project or direct me to some sort of decompiler or kitchen which i can use?
here is a link to the firmware i am talking about...
http://www.ele-china.com/soft/tablet/Atm/Q8/New/Q8-New-UPGRADE_FAST.zip (the FW file is inside the zip file)
thanks..
First of all, I hope this is the right section to post this thread. And as the title suggest is there any way to extract the contents of .tot files that are being used to flash LG phones to Factory State. I don't have the concerned device(LG G2) right now with me, that's why I need to extract the contents from .tot files. There is just one thread of XDA(from all the internet) that talks about the extracting contents from .tot files but it seems the procedure explained in that thread requires a device to be had and using the log file that is left by LG Flash Tool during flashing a phone.
Starting off, when LGNPST is used to image a phone, it creates a log file in C:\LG Electronics\LGNPST\Models\LOG\ For example, mine was called LS970Log_COM5.log. We are really only interested in one part of this file, located close to the bottom when the phone is actually being imaged.

See that quote, so I can't use that method. So, please some one let me know if there is an alternative.
Hi all
I have a asus memopad model K00B
Android 4.2.2.
I can't find a program which extract or open a .backup file.
I see everywhere .ab but not .backup.
I have a Asus Memopad. I did a backup and he made a .backup file.
If not possible : Maybe a converter from .backup to .ab?
Can someone help me?
Thank you

The oeminfo contains the phones IEMI and Serial number and is not something people should share
A friend of mine took her G5 to a repair shop who backed up her G5 to a multi-part .mce file (plus an .xlsx file). Does anyone know what an .mce file is, and how to restore from it?
