Is it possible via Fastboot or another method to backup my own recovery partition before I flash TWRP or rooting my phone?

What is the recovery partition?

Thank you for your help

[Q] Can I flash recovery straight on?

So I had my tablet unlocked with twrp 2.4.4.1
I wanted to uptdate so I wipe the system and install OTA downloaded from asus website and flash it through SD card using TWRP
but I found out that my recovery partition had become stock recovery already
My question is.
With everything stock, can I just flash the recovery partition by doing the procedure below:
1. Go to bootloader
2. Fastboot option
3. on computer type in "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"
Will this brick my tablet or destroy recovery that I never will able to update?
Im a person who feels safe with TWRP recovery so i can at least do something when something goes wrong.
Thanks

Fastboot recovery: Partition recovery not support flash

I am trying to install cwm recovery through fastboot. But I am getting the error as partition 'recovery' not support flash. Please any one help me to fix this. Whether I need to change anything on the recovery partition?

Deleted All Partitions on OnePlus 3. Need Help.

I used fastboot to delete all partitions (boot, recovery, userdata, system) using the command fastboot erase 'partion' . (Sent the phone for repair to a shady dealer (Screen Replacement) and wanted to ensure that they could not install any software on it without me noticing.)
My plan to recover the phone is to flash TWRP, boot to TWRP and restore the boot partition from a previous backup. Then I'll be able to flash a ROM and use the phone normally.
The only thing that bothers me is the possibility that I might not be able to boot into the recovery due to the missing boot partition. Can someone clear it up? I've looked on XDA for someone with the same problem and the only thread that was close was someone who deleted the boot partition and could no longer see their device on adb. (I can see the device listed when I run fastboot devices)
Can I download the boot partition and flash it through fastboot? If so, where can I find the boot partition. (Keep in mind that I have a TWRP backup which has the boot partition but would require me to boot into the recovery in the first place) Also, is there any specific command that I can use to flash the boot partition?
Also, I do not currently have the phone in hand so that I can try the method I listed above. If someone could clarify whether or not the method is working and if not provide an alternative method would be a great help.
Bootloader is unlocked. (IDK if that matters anymore.) I have ADB, TWRP img file and a backup.
Cheers.
you can flash using 9008 mode which doesn't require any partition

Thanks.
But you didn't answer my question. Will I be able to boot into TWRP and restore the boot partitions using a backup?
I am talking about the commands
Code:
fastboot boot twrp-x-x-x.img
or
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp-x-x.img
Also, can you link to a post explaining how to use 'Qualcomm 9008' mode?

Bootloop after flash TWRP as boot by mistake

Hi there,
Trying to root (magisk) my V30, I flashed TWRP as boot (fastboot flash boot twrp.img) instead recovery... (I did fastboot flash recovery twrp.img) after that...
I guess, because I flashed twrp as boot img, im having a bootloop to twrp I cannot fix..
from TWRP I tried wiping everything, installing magisk, etc... but always boot into TWRP..
Any idea how can I fix? Can I flash the stock boot.img from LG V30? Thanks!
PD: Also, on twrp reboot screen, I see: "No OS Installed!" ... I did a system wipe, did I break it? :S
thanks!
I would try reflashing a ROM, but I expect that probably won't work. The alternative is to start over with a KDZ (which includes a boot partition).
You may be able to flash only the boot partition with the KDZ as well... you could try that first.
Either way, I would make sure you flash TWRP again afterwards, just in case, so that the stock recovery isn't put there by mistake.

Yeah, re-flash KDZ to restore boot partition. Use Partition DL mode and do NOT choose all partitions. Choose boot partition.
If that doesn't work, then reflash all of KDZ. Bootloader will still be unlocked, but phone will be back on pure stock. Then go through the WTF Section 6 to reinstall TWRP, reformat internal memory, install Magisk, etc.
