[What is In-depth test]
In-depth test allows user to unlock bootloader.
if application is approved, user can unlock his OPPO Find X.
[Application qualification]
The application must meet all of the following conditions:
1. Model time must be more than 3 months;
2. No application record within 60 days;
3. The OPPO account has been registered and logged on this machine for more than 60 days;
4. The number of In-depth test users has not reached the quota limit;
5. Non-government enterprises and operators customize mobile phones.
PS. The following situations will reset waiting counter:
1. switch rom version (eg from stable version to open beta version)
2. factory reset
3. log-out OPPO account from OPPO find X

[Notice]
1. Joining the test plan may have an unpredictable impact on the phone;
2. The three-party firmware may cause some functions of the mobile phone to malfunction, such as taking a photo with the camera. And may cause damage to the equipment;
3. Personal security and privacy on the mobile phone may cause leakage, and security is not guaranteed;
4. Some system functions may be modified after joining the test plan, which will affect the system version upgrade and cannot experience the latest ColorOS service;
5. After joining the test plan, the phone status is equivalent to the factory reset, it is recommended to back up the data in advance;
6. The phone after joining the test plan will void the warranty.
[Apply In-depth test]
1. submit application
You need to select your device on following web page and fill in IMEI.

2. download and install In-depth test app
View attachment IndepthTest.apk
2.1 Click "Start applying"

2.2 Click "Continue applying"
2.3 Select "I have ..." and Click "Submit application"
2.4 You can click "Query verification status" on the 15th every month.
2.5 if application is approved, you can click "Start In-depth test" to reboot your mobile into fastboot mode.

Thanks so much @Duncan1982, this is helpful. I wish to make a customized rom to replace this incredibly retarded ColorOS. But now after 60 days the quota limit has been reached. I wonder if it will ever reset again.

Nope haven't a clue .....this whole process is just rediculous tbh....

It keeps saying the same to me about "application not submitted" I have filled in the form loads of times now.
I just hope someone grabs the file\rom before restarting their phone.

We can but hope, or that Oppo just releases an apk tool, much like what you can do with Asus. ....:good: maybe that's to much to ask for

As much as I really love the Find X, I'm with you, might or probably will sell, if I can......
I don't really want to, but I can't see Oppo being bothered about allowing us to unlock our bootloader's and also that we can flash the global Rom at least.
Android is open source, there is absolutely no need for OEM's to remove the ability to do what we wish to do.
We are fully aware that banking apps won't function and the risks, but yet they still waffle the same bs.
Shame as I absolutely love the find X besides this.

I may sell it as well.
Oppo twitter has never gotten back to me in 2 months of asking.
Oppo facebook does the same. Makes me think what would happen if the phone needed repairing

Every time I touch the "Query verification status" on the top right of the start screen.
I still get "Application not submitted" WTF am I supposed to do?
