Hello, the AiCP rom from t.me/AOSiP_x2 have a fix for focus problem in Settings, Advanced Settings, Camera Settings.
It is the only fix that works for me.
In order to have focus in your camera, a certain 'fix' is needed. Some ROMs for Le Max 2 already have it built-in, others require separate modules to be added, so it varies.
And, some users report that focus system in the camera breaks down sometimes - so those fixes work only, if mechanically the camera is fully functional. In case you would want to replace the camera, I have seen camera modules on Aliexpress, but replacement is tricky.
I am facing the same problem with my letv max 2 and i have tried most of the fixs and roms but i am not able to fix that ??
Well, you could try to use the original ROM from Leeco, see if your camera works - and if does, then it means you should continue looking for the right trick for your chosen ROM. But, if your camera does not work with original ROM, it would mean, that your camera module is faulty, and no software fix may help, you would need to look for replacement.

Furthermore, I heard that the T-mobile version of the SGS2 has a camera.apk that does not have focus problems - even on GSM Arena they say that the PRE-Focus on record bug is also gone.
I am hoping that maybe someone can rip the camera.apk (deodiex it) from the stock SGS2 T-mobile firmware and try it on our phone as they have the exact same camera modules and shared lib's.
Until then - we will probably have to wait till Potatoman gets back to working on his mod.
Are there any news about turning off the auto focus?

yes.. i can off autofocus but not worked exposition.. For detales (how this in real life) we can see program LGCamera
MIUI has a simple option to turn it off during video. I know this won't help you.. Just sayin'
Maybe it will be helpful to get the camera.apk from the MIUI Rom?

If possible I am asking those of you with TWRP, root and backed up Le Max 2 phones to test and see if this method will enable Camera 2 API and provide full manual control to this best price - performance ratio phone.
Make sure to have a recent BACKUP before trying this mod !!! It involves editing the build.prop file.

Nice, now I can shoot RAW pictures and get some manual things. I use Le max 2 and Cuoco92 rom and this enabling of camera2api doesn´t break the stock camera app on my device.

In case you yet to receive, i suggest not to upgrade from 14s until u root your device. OR built a rooting tool for most of us who are not willing to root once after updating 15s security patch :crying:

I edited t the build prop file as described in the link and installed the he recommended app.
On main camera all I get is a black screen ?
Maybe I should try another a app but don't know which one I should get to test it out...

i added to build.prop a new string at the bottom but can't shotting in raw, haven't a manual slider to focus or manual settings to long exposure.

Been using this trick for a couple of weeks now. It's not that no one else has tried this, only that there are not many people on xda lemax 2 forums, most are on letv.re or spanish htcmania.
So, camera2 api is working on EUI roms? Because on Mokee it doesn't. It is activated in build.prop but when i try to use some camera app that work with camera2 api - crash, or blank screen etc.

camera2api raw mode does work on the latest .19s rom. However, the only camera app that works perfectly for me on my x820 is the Footej Camera on Playstore. Lightroom mobile detected the .dng perfectly at about 40mb for RAW and after you edited and save it, the jpg is 20mb

Hi, I loved using the Pixel Experience ROM. I faced a couple of issues, and had to revert back to rooted stock rom.
Issues:
1. FM Radio doesn't work. Minor issue.
2. Camera: I understand that Camera2API is enabled by default in this ROM. All is good except when I use the camera built in Whatsapp. If the flash is not enabled, the capture comes with a green overlay which is not at all usable; this happens in both front and rear camera. The photo is fine when flash is enabled. No issues in the stock camera included in the rom and opencamera app.
3. When I call someone, the in-call timer doesn't start when they answer the phone, also the Hold & Add Call buttons are not available and call waiting is not functional. It is as if the device would not register if the call has been answered. I use Jio as my only sim so I could not tell if it is an issue specific to Volte calling. Things are fine in case of incoming calls. This is a major issue and I had to revert back to stock rom with Magisk because I was not getting calls. I saw other posts on the forum with this issue.

I tried the April build of PE and unfortunately, these issues are still there. I cannot shake the feeling that I am doing something wrong. Are we supposed to flash anything else along with the ROM so that these issues would go away?

Yes you can but I don't think there is an official Lineage ROM for Rosy. There is an unofficial available on XDA. There are a couple of other options that you can try. E.g. Resurrection Remix, crDroid, Pixel Experience, CyanogenMod etc.
why I can't flash gsi roms?
everytime I flash a gsi it boots to bootloader..
and another problem..
I cannot connect my device to my pc..
when i connect to pc it charges but doesn’t show the Notification light and in my pc it says unknown device..
I tried to update device driver but it says driver is upto date.. I tried installing drivers from online but still same problem..
and in my phone there shows no option to choose mtp or anything like that too...

Hello guys, just a quick post here. I am sharing a confirmed working GCam on the A10s
Now, let's get one thing clear. This is a very old GCam of course because of this phone, up to date GCam is pretty much impossible as this phone uses 32bit camera libs
Does this camera app take better photos than the regular stock camera?
Maybe, maybe not
With very little testing, we've found that it tends to not overexpose photos like the stock camera does, so that may be something good for some of you!
Also, I want to say that I did not make this GCam, nor do I develop or work on it. This GCam was shared for J6 (another a64 device) users in a J6 group, so I just went ahead and tried it on the A10s and to my surprise it works.
If anyone knows the original developer for this, please let me know or tag them here to give proper credits, as I have no idea who it is.
Anyway, here's everything you need to know (taken directly from J6 group)
Features!
HDR+
Night Sight
Lens Blur
Bugs!
Stretched viewfinder, just enable HDR+ by default. It won't affect the final image.
Video recording is broken. Viewfinder is also stretched but can be fixed by setting res. to 720p.
Purple tint on bright parts of images. Try messing with camera values.
Camera sometimes doesn't take pictures (usually when tapping on areas)

No, nobody is interested in the A10 or the A10s. This is simply something I found for my other device (J6) and decided to test out on the A10s. This GCam was not intended for this device and will probably never get an update, so I wouldn't really say that A10 or A10s has development to it.

Works on a Moto G7 Play
This is the only GCam I found to work with a Moto G7 Play (XT1952-4) running Android 10. This phone runs a 32-bit OS. There is no flash option. It is grayed out.
Hey all, I have been unable to use the front camera in any video chat app (Viber, messenger, duo) since I got the phone a couple months ago.
The front camera turns itself off during the call and you have to manually turn it back on continuously.
If you search the OnePlus Nord 2 forums you will find many references to this issue.
I have also submitted a support ticket and provided all the debugging information that was requested from me, but the problem just remains there without any solution for 5 months (from initial user references)
Does anybody else face the same issue or have any ideas?

Hi! Could you share some info regarding model number and build version?
Same thing here on EU vers. A15 , front camera functionality is flawless
I also have the version DN2103_11_A.15 but I am heavily experiencing the issue.
Have you tried for testing a 5 min call with Duo?

I am surprised that nobdy here has this front-camera problem, while it is the most frequently reported problems in the OnePlus forums...
After a chat with support, it also seems that they admitted that it is a known hardware issue and device needs repair
I have the same issue. When using messenger camera it's stop working all the time. It's really annoying. Phone it's new. Do You think I can return device at is factory issue ?

Hey, sorry for the late reply but just saw the message.
I eventually had mine returned and motherboard replaced, which solved the issue.
However, I can't tell you whether in recent OS updates it was also resolved somehow from software...
