Hi all,
I have a rooted phone and flashed many files and installed many apps but I don't not have a fundamental knowledge on Android. When trying to research I only find "developer guides" with the aim of building applications however I would rather understand what Android is ? What flashing files do? Why we flags .IMG files? What Google framework is ?
Totally random questions but they came to my mind. If anyone understands what type of stuff I'm talking about please share.

Hi All!
After searching around and trying to understand how the CM themes work I have come to a point I don't really know the answer to.
As I am not fluent in any tech speak in terms of coding, I am unsure how to answer this myself by looking up the templates on git-hub and such, and as internet searching has failed me, I wanted to ask; where do CM themes store their media? this is regarding the fact that an individual wanted to copy or view such media through a file explorer or whatnot.
So if someone can just tell me how to get to the media inside a theme-pack, i'd be grateful.
Thanks in advance for any help

Firstly, I don't know if this is a right site/forum to ask this question but this seems to be most active android development forum when googling for 'android development forum' even though this site seems to be mosty about rooting and mods which is not what my question is about.
I'm trying to compile github.com/corbinlc/GNURootDebian from source and make it run on my android emulator. I get 'Configuration with name 'default' not found' in android studio 3.0 when just opening the project. Can anyone help me out tackle this error?
