Amazfit Home Launcher - Amazfit

Since the Amazfit Pace runs on a modified Android OS would it be possible to install a custom home launcher?

And not see watchface anymore?
You can install custom launcher, like QuickLauncher for Android Wear and others, search forum for more info.

I've had a good experience with smart launcher 2, I used to use nova and it is good too
but nova launcher is pretty heavy right?
Are you talking about the power consumption?
I use it on my S5 and I can tell you that is more battery friendly than the Touch Wizz.

both battery and ram
ok now ive tried nova launcher too. with lucid launcher i got around 2000mb+ free ram, with nova im around 1500-1600mb free...thats too much
Need Reviews for Our New Launcher
Dear friends,
We have developed a new launcher application in context of an Android project.
As we have decided to distribute the second version (which is still beta) through Google Play, we need some feedbacks (esp. technical and UX).
We believe you, XDA Developers, would be great compasses for us through our way to be one of the best launcher.
You can check our latest version by typing "Snapp Launcher" in Google Play search bar.
Thank you and Best regards.

Material / Stock Android Like MIUI Theme

Hey.
Is there anyone wanting to partner/ help in building or wanting to build a cool Stock Android like MIUI Theme?
I really love stock Android and seems like lots of others would too!
Stock Boot Logo,
Dark Or Light colour combinations options,
App Icons as they're designed by the Developer,
Cool AF!
Looking forward to it!

there's already an android N theme
I have done it this way on my phone to give the best possible experience as the Android N theme on MIUI store seems so fake.
1. Install Google Now launcher (this is more authentic than Nova launcher but Nova gives you so many more options, plus Google Now launcher has OK Google voice command)
2. Install Android N theme from the Mi theme store. This will change the colour of the system UI. This means the pull down menu, toggles etc.
3. Now for the icons, install "awesome icons" from the play store . this lets you choose the required icons for each program that you want to change. The program is very self explanatory. Install an icon pack if required so that you will be then able to use the icon pack icons also.
Hit thanks if I helped.

Bruh, Nova Has it all.
For the icons please just get the stock ones from Google!
Sorry, i am just too lazy right now...
Aye, can someone help me out to get me started with making some themes?
This MIUI Theme thingy is not working for me.
As in whenever I use it and try to edit the Home screens and Contacts Screens and all, it's just a blank white screen.
I can majorly only change icons in the theme.
Help!

There is so many ROMs on development section.
Here is mine using official CM13 + Xposed
Big icons
When using Nova launcher , thr is no widget for clock app available..
Is thrre.any way to reduce the size of stock miui 8 icons, it looks too big
I liked the Android N miui theme a lot, especially the messaging app and the dialer. I can't find anything to theme them the same way on CM13, would you know any theme like that?

Launcher or widget app ?

Hi guys any suggestion for à good launcher or widget app for Nokia 8 oreo 8.1? Stock rom has not many shortcuts
Thank you.
Maybe nova launcher
Nova or Lawnchair launcher
Nokia 8 unlocked bootloader!
Pear Launcher is worth checking out it is along the lines of Lawnchair.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pearlauncher.pearlauncher
Also from the play store is Action Launcher and Smart Launcher is your after something that strays a bit further from the standard features.
There are also several decent Pixel launcher ports and mods around with various levels of extra features added in.
Another decent launcher is the BlackBerry launcher as it has some pretty useful features built in like pop up widgets and many many included shortcuts. It's free to try from the play store, or if you search XDA or Google for "BlackBerry Manager" by the developer Cobolt232 you can get it without ads or the subscription requirements (along with all the other BlackBerry apps).
Hi ! the 3D touch feature ( app shortcut on long press) doesn't work if any launcher is applied. Can anyone help?

Nova with seasame shortcut integration. You can even create your own custom shortcut.
Tryout Microsoft launcher from playstore. Cute and thin, not overbloated. First I only wanted to try it out. But then the Microsoft launcher replaced Nova Pro for me really fast and I missed nothing.

[TX6s] Android TV Box - Alice UX - Launcher Change Help?

Hi.
Tanix TX6s (Allwiner H616) Android 10 with root.
Default launcher: ALICE UX CAN'T CHANGE?
This device forces the use of the ALICE UX launcher (standard and proprietary).
I define another launcher (*) by default, but when the box is initialized, the ALICE UX launcher returns.
I cannot place any widget. The following message appears: it was not possible to add / restore this widget.
IMPORTANT: The two items of Tanix TX6s (Allwiner H616) Android 10, must be related to the way the OS was implemented to make ALICE UX persistent.
I thank you for your attention and kindly ask for tips to solve the situations presented above!
Good weekend.
(*) Example: Smart Launcher, Apex Launcher, Nova Launcher, etc...
because of the lack of touch you should only be trying android TV launchers.
I've seen videos of people using them as replacements.
try downloading something and then freezing the original if the new ATV launcher doesn't stay as default.

Tks @3mel
Your tip to freeze, it worked!
On the first attempt, I installed another launcher and uninstalled Alice UX. An error occurred and I had to update the firmware again with Phoenix Suite.
On the second attempt, I installed another launcher and, using the Disable Application 3.4.1 application (com.iamaner.oneclickfreeze) (Google Play Store), I frozen Alice UX. It worked, now the TX6s starts with the other launcher and remains on it.
Note 1: The limitations imposed by Android 10 on TX6s remain, therefore, additional features of the other launcher, such as: widgets, do not work.
Note 2: if you are going to change the initiator as mentioned above: do it at your own risk. Thank you so much!
@3mel
Now that I am able to use the launcher of my choice, I would like to:
1) use widgets,
2) view recent items to close,
3) view lower bar (navigation) and upper notifications bar.
Do you or your friends have any tips?

from what I've read these are all rom related restrictions and not launcher related. widgets just don't work no matter the launcher and earlier boxes had custom roms made for them in order to get a recents and notification bar.
I'd love those last two myself.
@3mel
Thank you for your reply.
Maybe one day the solution will appear.
I would also like the last two.
There are things that not even Freud explains!
Good week!

Are you using the stock launcher? This happened with the MS launcher for a while.

No, I was asking if you are using the default 1+ launcher, which apparently you are.
I was referring to alternative launchers (home screen) such as Lawnchair, MS, Nova, and others.
looking at the play store reviews ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.oneplus.launcherlooking ) it seems you aren't the only one with issues.
try a different launcher

Thank you for your answer. The link does not work for me... Which launcher do you recommend?
Nova has a huge fan base and is well liked
I haven't used Lawnchair for a while, but it used to be very pixel like
I've been using the MS launcher for several years because I like how it handles the app drawer and home buttons.
Try various ones. If you don't like it just go to settings/default apps, change the Home app back to OnePlus then delete the one you didn't like and try another.
Okay I have recieved an update because phone is not mine, but the owner of the phone already tried changing the launcher to google now launcher. It did not fix an issue. And just to add something to the post the shortcuts are missing after every reboot of the phone and not after updates it was my bad at the first post.
Sorry, of it is happening with the Google launcher and the OnePlus launcher after each reboot try asking in the OnePlus community
