I read that the Dark Skies weather app is available for watches. Is there any possibility of getting this to work on a Pace ? It seems like the perfect app for a watch.

I'm recommending WUSA weather. A Combination weather/google maps app with animated layers. I use it all the time. You can set any location as home. Available free in market.

Latest version of The Weather Channel work fine (just recently updated, previously it was pretty unusable, still kinda ugly). WeatherBug looks really nice on the Nook Color.
My current favorite app is Palmary Weather, it offers a bunch of different information, and the widgets you can toggle between graphs of temps, rain, humidity, etc.. It's a really nice complete app, but no radar.. So I use Weatherbug for radar.
Is there any decent weather app/widget that could be used on a different ROM like FroYo? Neither WUSA nor Weatherbug OR the Weather Channel app are showing in the Market

Palmary Weather, I've tried them all and always go back to this one. It's well worth the price.
YOU CAN CHANGE WALLPAPER and you can USE YOUR OWN WALLPAPER TO MAKE Custom CLOCKS.. there is a new APP in the PLAYSTORE that will allow you to do this..
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.omnicns.android.gearfit.watchstyler
Watch Styler for Gear Fit.
problem is this doesnt show the date! i want to see the date on my phone just just the time...
Maybe in the near future this app (watch styler) will be updated by play store with more clocks or whatever. I hope so.
Has anyone used zooper and wearable widgets yet for the gear here's one of their templates
How u do it
You need to use zooper widget app to build it and wearable widgets to load it to the watch seems complicated but it's not just go on YouTube and search making widgets with zooper
Made another one the wife's a big nautical fan so made it to please her still trying to get full use of the screen
Interesting idea will have to check it out

I was wondering if anyone has come across or is interested in making a weather forecast app for the Gear Fit.
It would be nice to click it and be able to scroll through a 5-day or hourly forecast.
Maybe the data could be grabbed from the Samsung widget, like the clock/weather face data is. Or just set in the settings to one of the common sources.
Use Gear Fit RSS and point it to a weather forecast feed. No graphics but many forecasts.

I have yet to get RSS to work. I tried many feeds but none would work. Did you have to do something in order to get it to work?

I've seen a lot of notification management apps here in XDA but what's the best for you? One that doesn't need rooting or any system modification. Just installing it is enough.
For me Amazmod is very good and battery friendly
I am currently using watchdroid
I am currently using watchdroid (8.2.17.8 - phone and 8.0.15.8 watch APK). It is pretty good, there are a few things i'd change since it does more than notifications which is really all I want from it. I see postings for AmazMod and AMF and wonder if anyone has used all three and can compare and contrast them? When I got my Stratos, watchdroid was the only one I think and I'll stuck with it out of entropy but if folks are getting better results out of the others, I'd like to hear that too.
Thanks.
I really like Amazmod and have used it without the service.apk on the watch(best batterylife), All I really want is to ungroup my notifications... I honestly do not understand why the Amazfit guys could just enable that in the stock app... I'm currently using Watchdroid as it very polished and the notifications are clean and provides ways to exit menu's like swipe right etc. Also, it give you the ability to send files to your watch via wifi and remote control the camera on your phone. The music player control and contacts options I feel are useless as the default music player is much easier accessible(just swipe up). On the negative, watchdroid's Google Map notifications are not great and hurts your battery life.
I've not used AMF simply because it seems Watchdroid ticks all the boxes and is more polished. Battery life with WD is about 2-3 days(mostly 2 for me).
Amazmod is really great if you want an improved stock experience and honestly I feel its the best option, especially if you do not use the service.apk on the watch. Battery life is great and your messages can be ungrouped(meaning you can read each message you received by just going to your notification history.
But like what I've said earlier, Watchdroid is the most polished. I really hope the developer does not stop developing now that Amazmod is here.
