hello, i recently bought a HomTom HT10, a chinese phone with ultra high specs, but noticed that the only rom available from HomTom official site is a semi-custom ROM. no global version available for my phone....
this is a big problem, because many apps use the Safetynet protocol to check the integrity of my android (marshmallow 6.0) and find it rooted, while it is in fact the official release. so i wanna try to flash a DIFFERENT ROM from a DIFFERENT phone on my HT10, but a phone with very similar specs: Xiaomi Redmi Note 4
both phones have the mediatek Helio X20 MT6797 chipset, same ram and rom, same screen, both have Sony camera
also the Xiaomi note 4 firmware (MIUI 8) works (if flashed) on other HomToms with the same chipset as MIUI official phones..... keep in mind thet all these chinese phones are very very close in terms of hardware
so..... what are the odds of this going well? (your opinion)
will it brick the phone? work with bugs? work perfectly?
must i flash the kernel also or keep the homtom one?

Becouse i can see your build is : Android6.0-V01-20170622 I have V01-20170510 and problem is still not solved.
After some hours i cant call/receive any calls.

arnova has relesed new gcam update in which night mod have been fixed
And green tint on front camera has been removed

13 isn't working fine on 3gigs variant. Maybe we'd need to wait

This works on 6gb varient didn't test on 4gb varient
3gb variant. The viewfinder is very laggy. There are not such issue on 6.0.13 version. So means the issue can be fixed. Hopefully the next version will be good.

According to you which is the most stable port of gcam for 3gb version. If you don't mind pls provide link

Working very well in 6GB variant
